We sat in the back patio. It wasn’t fancy but cozy and private. The staff were super welcoming and professional and gave us exceptional service. Good was so good, presentation great and you won’t leave hungry. Portions were generous. Will definitely be back.

Good hospitality, welcomed at the door and willing to change the table that was reserved. I love gnocchi, my partner loves pizza and we both were delighted with the food. Small, but well-chosen wine list.

I had made a reservation and when we got there, the place had plenty of open tables and yet they decided to put us in the "back patio" where it was cold, dark, damp and empty. Was NOT impressed at all and will probably not go back.

Best Gnocchi on the city. Nice outdoor space on the back area for a warm weather. Service is also top. That's the place a can take my family or friends with me to have a good time.

Friendly staff, amazing and yummy food - the bruschetta, pizza and gnocchi are to die for! We did have to move from our initial reserved seating as the back door to the patio was open and the dining room got cold. The high chairs we shifted to were a bit uncomfortable, however, the overall experience was worth it. Definitely coming back again!

Always perfect. The Sorentina gnocchi was hot as hades and so good on a winter’s night, burrata was delicious, salad was great, coffee on point and the homemade lemon tort was damn good. Always great food and attentive friendly service in an upscale but home style restaurant.

Food and service was all amazing. Just don’t get sat at the tiny table near the back door to the patio. Whoever is sat in the aisle will be bumped and brushed constantly from staff and people leaving.

Fun, energetic servers. Service was a bit slow but it was Valentine’s day and they were busy. Once the order went in the food came very fast and was absolutely amazing. Love Tav’s as always!

Phenomenal Italian restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great, it has a classic Italian feel and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and make the experience very pleasing. Please order the pesto Gnocchi it is wild.

I am super confused by the reviews left by other diners claiming this spot is a 5 star and authentically italian. I have never left a restaurant review but felt compelled to do so as our experience at this spot was terrible. This is not authentic italian - it was bland, pizza was undercooked (some reviewers mention this) and the gnocchi was chewy. Sauce was flavourless. I SO wanted to love it based on the history of it's parent restaurant next door and the fact that the teams nonna provided all of the recipes used. I actually felt guilty feeling how I do. Our meal, from appertivo to salad to pizza and an order of gnocchi was all terrible. Sidenote: we should have left the moment we saw the chain restaurant like menu which is what the experience felt like at best.

Went as a family with little kids age 8. This isn’t a place for kids though we were totally comfortable there at the same time. Food was outstanding and my husband who doesn’t rave easily noted it was the best Italian restaurant he has ever dined in TO and we have gone to many.

Went there for a dinner reservation- it was minus 10 and they made us sit on a patio with one heater. The wind was blowing through the fence and you couldn't sit without a jacket let alone enjoy a meal. I don't know where this idea of seating people on a patio in mid November, snow and minus 10 in Canada came from, but we left as we didn't feel it worth to be freezing, eating your meal in a hurry and paying quite a bit. Super disappointed this was not mentioned as patio seating during the booking as we wasted our money on Uber and time traveling there only to leave. Being a Friday night it was difficult to find another spot- overall wouldn't try again due to this experience.
