The calamari was rubbery and had a strange dusty rub on it. The margarita pizza was very floppy and the sauce was watery. The Gnocchi was good but the Parmesan wasn’t fresh, it tasted like it was from a shaker and was put on the pasta from a bowl with a spoon. Waiter was very scarce. Wouldn’t recommend this place for good Italian food unfortunately.

Tried the calzones for the first time - nothing special the crust tasted undercooked , the inside wasn't stuffed enough so needless to say wouldn't recommend or order again. Huge disappointment in the washroom conditions - needed cleaning, I was sorry I had to use them. Looks like also there has been an overhaul in the staff - so to that I say Tavs has lost its authentic vibe. Gonna try someplace else next time

Best Gnocchi in the city, hands down. I have been to Tav's a few times now, and the service is always on point. The team is super friendly and always willing to make recommendations. My one qualm about Tav's is that they have a limited cocktail menu if you are into wine.

We sat in the back patio. It wasn’t fancy but cozy and private. The staff were super welcoming and professional and gave us exceptional service. Good was so good, presentation great and you won’t leave hungry. Portions were generous. Will definitely be back.

Good hospitality, welcomed at the door and willing to change the table that was reserved. I love gnocchi, my partner loves pizza and we both were delighted with the food. Small, but well-chosen wine list.

I had made a reservation and when we got there, the place had plenty of open tables and yet they decided to put us in the "back patio" where it was cold, dark, damp and empty. Was NOT impressed at all and will probably not go back.

Friendly staff, amazing and yummy food - the bruschetta, pizza and gnocchi are to die for! We did have to move from our initial reserved seating as the back door to the patio was open and the dining room got cold. The high chairs we shifted to were a bit uncomfortable, however, the overall experience was worth it. Definitely coming back again!

Always perfect. The Sorentina gnocchi was hot as hades and so good on a winter’s night, burrata was delicious, salad was great, coffee on point and the homemade lemon tort was damn good. Always great food and attentive friendly service in an upscale but home style restaurant.

Food and service was all amazing. Just don’t get sat at the tiny table near the back door to the patio. Whoever is sat in the aisle will be bumped and brushed constantly from staff and people leaving.

Fun, energetic servers. Service was a bit slow but it was Valentine’s day and they were busy. Once the order went in the food came very fast and was absolutely amazing. Love Tav’s as always!

Phenomenal Italian restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great, it has a classic Italian feel and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and make the experience very pleasing. Please order the pesto Gnocchi it is wild.
