   Waited 45 minutes for appetizers to come out. We were told when the appetizers came out one of our ordered entrees was no longer available. The main course came out while we were eating our appetizers. Two out of the three entrees were wrong—-cheese was on the burger when we asked for no cheese and the sauce was on the chicken when asked for on the side. Also the salad that had pears instead of peaches. The manager was receptive to our concerns and we got our meal free. Not sure if it was a kitchen or a wait staff issue

We had some major issues with over-seating due to the outdoor patio being open for the first week this year which in turn rippled into the kitchen. At that point, we could only do our best. Most of our guests were very understanding of the issues as this is not a common occurrence. Yes, we still had some issues with your ticket and we apologize for that. We gave you the entire meal on the house to make up for our mistakes.

   I had bee looking forward to trying Tavern on High but was disappointed with my first visit. Overall they seemed short stars which seems to be the norm in most restaurants these days unfortunately. That aside our server had tables inside and outside on the patio including a large party, making it nearly impossible for him to do a good job. We ended up flagging down anyone we could to get drinks refilled, water, etc. The food also took a long Ike to arrive, I chose the salmon over mushroom risotto with a pesto sauce…the fish was cooked within an inch of its life and the risotto was over cooked. My friend had the chicken broccoli Alfredo - the sauce was more butter than a creamy Alfredo. Due to the slow service we were just finishing up round closing time 9:30…when they started putting the chairs on top of the tables…nothing says “get out” quire like that! I will give them another chance and hopefully they can get their staffing and cook times corrected.

   The meals were served at different times, one being 20 minutes later than the others. 3 people including the manager told us that it was the kitchen’s fault. Instead of passing the buck they should have taken care of the problem. They did comp us for the missing meal and a glass of wine, but it was a terrible experience. The food was actually good, when it came.

   First time visiting. They were all out of the steak & cheese eggrolls so we skipped the apps; the salmon risotto was very good, smokehouse mac & cheese was okay (smelled smokier than it tasted). Seemed very clean, and had a fun bar atmosphere, but no chance to actually hold a conversation -- very loud. Glad we tried it, nice change of pace but probably won't be on our regular list.

   The food here is excellent with perfect portions. I had the house burger and my husband had the Alfredo special. This was our first visit so not knowing what to expect we made reservations for a Friday night and we were promptly seated when we arrived. Most tables were already taken so we were glad to have made reservations. My only complaint was that my husband I couldn't hold a conversation because it was so loud but that of course would be expected for a tavern. It was a mixed crowd of 20 somethings, families with small children and older mature diners. I look forward to going back in the summer to dine on the patio. By the way, the staff was excellent!

   Hostess was very accommodating, finding us a different table away from the loudness. Except it was very, very loud everywhere. Was meeting a friend hadn't seen in a while; this was not the place for conversation as we could not hear each other. Food was good, nothing exceptional. Price was high; ergo, expectation of better food quality. Did I say the place was incredibly loud!? Yeah, what did you say!?

    Tavern on the High was a great experience! I arrived early and was the first person there, and they sat me at the table. The host was very polite and did a great job welcoming me. Our server was awesome and the food was prompt and good! Overall great night, I would highly recommend this place!

    On a busy evening it’s best for viewing the big game and drinks. Food was okay, nothing to come back for. If you have a fish/seafood allergy about 3/4 of the menu is not an option for you.

    First time dining at Tavern on High and it did not disappoint. Our server was very accommodating, friendly and attentive. Everyone in our party of 8 were very happy with the food. Great experience overall!

    Reservation for dinner date and was promptly seated but at a high top table between another table and bar. Would have preferred a quieter spot but the food was fantastic (short ribs and Asian slaw) and well worth the trip!

    Service was very slow, over two hours to get our food and then be able to pay the check. What stood out was that no one apologized for the wait. Everyone was either mildly or completed disappointed with their meals, and the food was cold. The women's bathroom only had 2 stalls and 1 stall was completely broken and on the floor, so there were very long lines for the bathroom. The food was pricy which did not seem to match with the quality of food or service. The inside looked beautiful and some of the appetizers were good, but overall we would not go back again.

    Went for lunch after a hike. Service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. Gave good advice on cocktails and food. Almost all of us had the Harvest Salad with a protein- love the combo of spinach, goat cheese, nuts and a light dressing.

    Met up with some former colleagues for dinner on a Tuesday night. Server was fantastic and gave us all the time we needed to order, catch up with each other, and enjoy our meal. Environment is chic and comfortable, food is very good and reasonably priced for these times. I’ll keep coming back!
