We had the brunch with Santa and the buffet was huge and so yummy. Everything was replaced regularly and super fresh and hot. Service was great! Definitely recommend.

It was our anniversary so we were quite excited to try the melt-in-your mouth prime rib, as we gave enjoyed your other meals. It was our first time ordering prime rib with you and unfortunately, the meat was very tough and the potatoes were gummy and bland. Service was quite slow to get seated, have our order taken, and to make payment. The timing of receiving our food seemed fine. We were told that it was busier than usual last night, I definitely won't be recommending the prime rib to my friends, unless this was a one-off experience. I hope the food quality wasn't compromised due to needs for the event upstairs.

For a day with only a few tables occupied the service was very slow. My wife's burger was very cool when it arrived at the table waiting on the fish & chips to be fried.

the The tavern on the green is always a good lace for a bit to eat. They have the best view in Abbotsford, JRG has one of the best menus for quick bites or a good brunch. The service is good and attentive. Thank you for a great job.

My reservation was made and when we arrived the table was already set for us, with water and glasses. It is beautiful sitting out on the patio, and the food was very good! The service was excellent.

Food was good. Server was slow but nice. It was quiet as well which we liked. The breakfast is ok. The only thing is that the potatoes are described as “smashed” but they are whole.

Was there for breakfast. I had a reservation. When arriving, there was no hostess there to greet us. It took quite awhile before someone to greet us. We were seated outside as requested. The table was unbalanced, but I was able to fix that. The server was nice and attentive. Our meals were very good. We were not being rushed whatsoever to leave. The only issue we had were the wasps. Pesky things. But we wanted to sit outside. I definitely will come back.

I want to love it here but the service was slow, food not as described on menu and is expensive for what we got. We have experienced better food etc from this restaurant but lately it has been disappointing. Hopefully it’s just a blip….they have one of the most picturesque locations! Please be better - fast!

Hostesses had the "I do NOT want to be working today attitude (management needs to have a word with her), no smile, very unfriendly. Asked my wife.."do you have a "rezzo"???...who says that??,... could not even say the word reservation. Everything else was great

I had the 5.99 breakfast and it wasn't worth the money or the time to eat it. The sausage was the kind you'd get at Denny's 20 years ago - greasy and no flavour - the bacon was overdone, the eggs were overdone and the one small piece of toasted sourdough was not enough. The regular coffee is also Denny's from 20 years ago. It was really, really awful. The redeeming qualities were the drinks, the service and the view. Based on the "food" on my plate, I would NOT recommend this meal at all.

The service is very slow!!! Not so much the kitchen but to order and getting drinks is very slow! It's sad we have only been there 3 times and know to get 2 drinks at once because you may never see the server again for a second. Other that slow service its great!

If you want a quiet dinner do not dine on a Friday night in July and August. Live music Friday nights, went to the first one and the night was superb

We had a nice, quiet spot outside on the patio. It's so hard to find a restaurant that isn't loud and full of TV screens. So the Tavern was a great change. Loved watching the golfers on the course.

Waitress spilt mimosa all over us… and broke the glass… three of us covered in orange juice … least she could have done is not charge us … but she did… and then dropped s knife in our glass … then dropped food our water !
