My wife and I had dinner at the Taverna restaurant celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. We had an excellent time. Service and food were superb. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant's aesthetic and ambiance were impressive! It was decorated nicely with great style and elegance. The hostesses and waitstaff were professional and helpful and our food arrived quickly. The food was fantastic! We ordered four entrees and a salad. The portions were perfect and the flavors were great! This was our first visit to Taverna and we will definitely return to this establishment.

I really like all the restaurants at the Domain. Great italian at Taverna- from the pizzas to Osso Buco - everything is solid. And I like the cocktails and wine list.

Warm and sweaty inside. Food was very late and average. Salads came after the entree. Not a typo. My ipa beer was ok. For 150 bucks not worth the trip. Usually Taverna is great.

Food took very long to come out although they were not very busy. Our server meant well and was quite knowledgeable but lagged a little with service. Always a go to spot! Although we probably won’t be sitting outside again with kids running around in the courtyard and by the tables.

I want to make it clear that I never write reviews. I never thought I would ever HAVE to. So here it goes: A friend came from another city and I decided to make a reservation for 2. We got here at 3:30, just like we were supposed to. When we got here, we weren't given any servers. The servers just passed by our table, and didn't turn even after we called them. We waited for half an hour and I decided to get up and go to the kitchen and ask for a waiter. It became clear that we were not welcome here. My guest was vocal on the subject, but I decided to remain silent. We waited another 30 minutes before a waiter showed up at the table. 20 more before the meal. I don't know what we did wrong, and if we did - they could have told us and we would have found a common ground/ found a solution. We were served straw-less glasses, and when my friend asked for a straw, the waiter told us that they ran out of straws. We looked at other tables and EVERYBODY, yes EVERYBODY HAD A STRAW. Even people who ordered drinks afterwards we received straws. Our invoice was approximately $65, and I gave $20 because the service was poor. The only reason I even gave a tip is because I hope the young woman who served us got the tip (despite refusing to give us straws). Needless to say - we won’t be returning to this place. We expected better for a place of such caliber. Thank God I recorded it all, and kept every receipt just in case. Worst service in Austin, TX

Really good quality of food. Majority of the menu can be substituted with Gluten Free options, which is important for GF allergic people. The service was really good, and our server was very helpful with suggesting options and pointing out which options van be prepared GF.

First time here so we came for brunch on Sunday. Super busy, which was fine but you couldn't hear to talk to whomever your with, plus the tables are so close we were almost bumping elbows with the folks beside us. Food was nothing special. Eggs Benedict came out cold and the eggs were hard boiled... maybe dinner is a better experience but brunch was a total disappointment.
