As always, we enjoyed an amazing evening at Taverna Gorgona. Their Saganaki, flamed at the table, is sublime. Our entrees (barbecued ribs and Greek ribs) were grilled to perfection. And while the three sides that come with the meals (potatoes, rice and Greek salad) are all delicious, it’s good to have the option of choosing just one or two of the sides and having more of that choice. And our server, Alexa, was excellent — knowledgeable and attentive, as are all the servers here. A great place!

Always great never had a bad meal there yet. Fantastic place to go and eat it’s a Ladner gem. The staff are all really friendly and always happy to see you and the owners always around and treats people amazingly cheers

Our regular order is the sautéed calamari as an appetizer and then share a Horiatiki Greek salad and roast lamb. Plenty of food for two! We also indulge in a bottle of their Greek white wine (not the Retsina though). The staff is super attentive, friendly and fast. Thank you to yesterday’s server Gabby! Much appreciate your service and those of your colleagues.

Really a fantastic place. We brought visiting relatives from Tennessee there, and they said the lamb chops were the best they'd ever had! Also the salmon. And for us, the ribs and calamari were superb. The servers (Gabi and Alona) were attentive, and managed to discreetly and quickly deal with a spill at our table! A great restaurant -- we are so lucky to have it close by.

Never disappoints. Great restaurant. Great food. It got a bit busy as prime time dinner time rolled in and the waitresses became less attentive to our table. Waitress should also be trained to put the bill in the middle of the table instead of to one person, especially not the one who asked for the bill. But overall good experience.
