Food was excellent as always. Decor perfect. Only issue was the server seemed very “scattered”. At the end of the meal we asked for our bills 5of us). She brought the machine over and did 2 of our bills then said she had to go to kitchen to pick up food and be right back. Well she never came back. We saw her clearing another table, then pouring coffee at another table and then never saw her period. Luckily I knew how to work the machine so I did all the rest of the bills for our table and just left the machine and restaurant copy of bills on the table. Sat there for another 5 mins and still no waitress so we left.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent food. We really enjoyed the sautéed calamari and the hummus appetizer. Definitely will be back.

Calamari, chicken and lamb souvlaki were all fantastic! The tsaziki was also very flavorful! One of the best greek restaurants I've been to!

Service was slow, was not offered drinks for at least 10minutes Lamb chomps were chewy and not flavorful. Server did not check in to see if we were doing ok and no refills of our waters, we were sitting on the patio and it was very hot/humid. Asked two servers for missing items from our orders. For the price of the meals the service quality was very poor

Undeniably and still an absolute GEM in the Ladner dining scene. The Saganaki was perfect. the portions are generous, the presentation of every dish was wonderful, I cannot say enough good things about the staff. As we were leaving there was a large group beside us, and as we passed the table, a gentleman on the far side of this table thanked us for coming, he was obviously the owner, and that shows you how much this family run, and family-oriented business ACTUALLY cares about their customer. Incredibly pleasing ambiance from the moment you walk in the door, and whether it is date night, a family dinner, or a drink on a beautiful patio in downtown Ladner, the staff here will take care of you, and you will feel welcomed and at home. Gold Star experience all around, thank you.

A wonderful Greek Restaurant that is true to its roots. The roasted lamb is the best i have had. The service is outstanding and the location is great.

Another delicious meal at Taverna Gorgona. The service was a little slower than normal at times, receiving one appetizer about 10-15 minutes after the first one. The food was tasty and the staff friendly.

I’ve been visiting Taverna Gorgona for over 20 years now, and it remains my absolute favorite Greek restaurant in the Lower Mainland. Even after moving from South Delta, I make it a point to stop by every time I’m in Ladner. The consistency of the food and service is truly remarkable—every visit feels like coming home to authentic Greek hospitality. The food is nothing short of spectacular. My family of four last night enjoyed a meal where every appetizer and entrée was outstanding. From the creamy tzatziki to the perfectly grilled souvlaki, every bite was packed with flavor. The portions are generous, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get. Thank you, Franco, and the entire staff for maintaining such high standards over the years. Taverna Gorgona is, without a doubt, the best Greek dining experience in the Lower Mainland, and I can’t wait for my next visit!
