Great food as expected unfortunately our server forgot to put in our appy so our entrees came out first but she quickly apologized and rectified it. Rest of the night was good, although a few large parties ramped up the noise level so you had to talk quite loud to be heard… first world problem 😂

Love to have white tablecloth setting. So rare these days. Hate to be called “ you guys” by young servers. And asked “are you still working” instead of “have you finished you meal “. Food is consistently delicious every time

My favourite restaurant in Ladner by far. Been here several times and it never disappoints. You’ll get great service whether you’re there for a one on one date or a large family dinner. Roast lamb dinner is an absolute must-try, their taramosalata dip is also amazing. Great value for the price as well, huge portions and the Greek red wine is a perfect addition. Will return.

Because we sat outside, the noise level was much more tolerable. Inside it’s a bit uncomfortable, because the tables are relatively close together and people get noisy or annoys her as they consume alcohol. However, we really truly enjoyed ourselves, enjoyed our Greek salads and calamari, and we enjoyed the two waitresses who looked after us. Alona was one of them. Cora came over and chat to us because she just started working when we visited several months ago. It is always a treat coming to your restaurant. We were treated very well indeed, and will certainly be back.

As always the food was excellent and the service complimentary. The low and flat ceilings, however, do not baffle sound very well and the noise level was very elevated. I realize this is not on the restaurant but we were next to a table of 6 that apparently never took a school of manners course thought it was acceptable to to speak / yell at a level that we were unable to speak over. If they had not left to allow to us enjoy dessert the evening would have been a total loss.

Overall good experience at the restaurant. We reserved using OpenTable well in advance, we were a bit disappointed with the table, small in the corner, dark and next to the washrooms, seating was very tight. We noticed that there were many other nice tables in the restaurant, unfortunately we weren’t given one.

We've always come to this restaurant for special occasions etc. Despite asking on Open table for a window table, didn't get it. Seems like they didn't read any special requests. The calamari was really good. The salmon was okay. The Greek ribs wasn't great. Very dry and not very flavorful. Overall it was an ok experience. The food was not as good as I remembered.

This was our first time at the family owned Taverna Gorgona - I’ve always wanted to go, and I wasn’t disappointed. The patio is large and comfortable- perfect for the summer days and evenings. The lovely bright, roomy interior sprawls into different areas giving a sense of intimacy in what is really a fair sized restaurant. The lighting is warm and modern, and the many large windows and high ceiling give a beautiful airy quality. The servers were friendly, kind and attentive. I really liked the menu- enough variety that there’s something for everyone, and our meals were the type of tasty, satisfying ‘home cooking’ we were hoping for. If you aren’t too stuffed, treat yourself to a dessert. Yet one more bonus is the quiet location with parking easy to find. We’ll definitely be back soon.

This is superb. The Saganaki is sublime, and the ribs were perfectly done. I really like that there are options around combinations of rice, salad and potatoes as sides. And the service was, as always, attentive without being intrusive. Plus, at this time of year, the patio is a lovely place for a delicious dinner — tables are well-spaced and there is lots of shade cover. A gem!
