   Elena notre serveuse était géniale. On voulait les petit beignet avec de la confiture, mais ils étaient seulement sur la table d’hôte… mettez les sur le menu svp 🙏 merci!!

   La nourriture n’était vraiment pas bonne. Nous avons tous 3 pris la Chakchouka Merguez. Il n’y avait pas de goût, oeufs trop cuits, poivrons trop gros. De plus, je voulais prendre les bénédictines et remplacer les champignons par des poivrons. La serveuse a assuré que c’était impossible de faire un tel changement, car elle disait qu’il n’y avait pas beaucoup de variété de légumes en cuisine. Pourtant, le plat commandé était plein de poivrons. Nous sommes déçus et remarquons que ce restaurant représente bien un type « over rater » du Vieux-Port. Bel emplacement et belle ambiance à l’intérieur, mais qualité de la nourriture est médiocre pour le prix et le service est ordinaire. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

   Le menu du Happening Gourmand était vraiment bon et copieux. Le restaurant est super joli même s’il peut être un peu bruyant parfois mais rien de gênant. La nourriture vaut le détour

   J’ai passé une très bonne soirée J’ai très bien mangé et en bonne quantités ! Seule chose j’ai trouvé la salle un peu bruyante .. Mis à part cela tout était parfait !

    Marketed as a gastropub but kinda fell short. Beer list was unimpressive - heavy on one supplier. Food was uninspired - as was the service. Maybe because it was a Sunday - but I think not. Overall - it was fine. But I won’t be back.

    The ambiance was great, but they appeared understaffed. We waited a long time for everything and the food wasn't warm. Given the reviews we had seen, which made us pick the restaurant in the first place, it was a bit disappointing.

    A fantastic meal with great service. The atmosphere was really upbeat and warm. Our waiters were friendly and entertaining. Very attentive. We had the charcuterie, lamb shoulder, and the lobster ravioli. All to die for, the ravioli especially. Definitely recommend this place.

    At Gaspar service and decor are very fine; you even got a lounge, but what remain the best is ... Food. A real restaurant. Some might find it a bit pricey, but its worth every penny.

    Je suis aller souper à la Taverne Gaspar en mars 2023. À mon avis, c'est un gem montréalais! D'abord, l'endroit est très bien situé (Vieux Montréal) et le décor est superbe. L'ambiance est génial de même que le service. Et que dire de la nourriture? Sans faute note! J'ai pris la joue de bœuf avec risotto de safran sur conseil de notre sympathique serveur ... c'était divin! Mon amoureux à pris le filet mignon accompagné de polenta ; superbe! Taverne Gaspar : nous y retournerons sans aucun doute!

    Was expecting more, considering the great reviews. However, the food was just ok, not great value for the money...the vegetables looked like they had been cooked the week before! Maybe fine for an expensive burger. However, it is a lovely location in old Montreal

    Excellent atmosphere for a meal with good conversation. You don’t have to shout to be heard. Food was very good. Service was a bit slow but that also adds to the atmosphere.

    Food was very good and the waitress was very friendly. However, my latte sat at the bar for about 10 minutes and when it finally arrived, it was not very good. The regular coffee was also not very good. Both coffees tasted burnt & sour. However, dessert was very tasty.

    Went for brunch with my son. They sent his bagel burnt twice, service was pretty slow but ambiance was excellent and was okay with taking in the sights. Eggs Benedict was great.

    Nice but limited menu for brunch and small portion. Food was not warm, even cold in some place. If you are there, you will find it ok it but would go out of my way to eat there and I will not go back.

    We had brunch. Was great. Gourmande breakfasts for my wife and kids, and salmon gravlox on a St Viateur bagel for me. Friendly service. Awesome location. Will be back.

    I made reservations 8 days prior. When I arrived and announced my arrival at 7:20 for the 7:30 reservation, I was promptly escorted to the "worst" table in the joint. WTF? I had to request another table and it was granted, I had expected a "reserved" marker on a table when I arrived, but no such service. Makes my wonder why I took the time to make the reservation?? The cocktails were very good!!

    La soirée était très sympathique. Le service était excellent. Les assiettes n'étaient pas très copieuses malheureusement mais le goût en revanche était bien là ! Petit point négatif, pas fe climatisation et il fait extrêmement chaud dans lerestaurant, pour les clients comme pour le personnel.

    Had the cauliflour steak, the portobello mushrom was a door mat, impossible to cut. Told the staff three times, oh well. Nothing. If you go, stay away from the cauliflour.

    Friendly staff, great for groups gathering. Avocado toast was incredible!!! Loved the retro vibe with claw foot tables, claw foot booths, stone and brick walls. Yet sleek granite high top tables as well…..Very warm and inviting!
