Server was great. Food was good except the nacho but overall it was good. Will be back soon
Another great night at Taylor’s landing. The waitress was great and the food delicious. It wasn’t very busy which was nice and quiet. We will be back.
When we came to the restaurant, the first women at the counter were very rude. We were on time, but she said she gave it to someone else. Good thing there was another person we talked to and she was more friendly and nice. Our server did a terrific service!
we reserve a table however when we got there we got a table by the door. it was very breezy and my husband was not feeling great. I ask if we could change table but was total NO since its game night.
I understood completely but then we witnessed your staff switching tables for some other arrivals that was seated in a boot but then got switched to the table we ask for.
while we are regulars at your restaurant- the service was as always great..we were disappointed that happened.
we will not be going back.
Someone sat in our table, took the restaurant 20 minutes to move them and they were rude in the process.
First of all I’d like to say that the reception host out is at a high table when I requested regular seating. I asked for another table because of the high chairs due to my knee issues. It was also a special occasion and they mentioned that is only what showed on the reservation not the standard seating. Then we ashes fur a booth that was available and they said I couldn’t have it because it was reserved for s 7 pm reservation. I told her I had a 7 pm reservation and she replied it is 6:58 pm. She seared us at a round booth which was uncomfortable. The reserved table that was aside actually two booths were available no one got seated in them till 8 pm and 8:15 pm. Aldo no one came to our table until 15 min later after we sat down. Our food was great but we did find s hair in one of our appetizers. As well I tried to use a gift certificate from Open Table and they said I couldn’t use it after checking with someone because it is expired. I didn’t know they were expired. It was issued to me October 30, 2018. She said it expired in 6 months and it’s past that by 19 days. So why do I then book on Open Table? I made all these reservations to be told I can’t use my gift certificate. Disappointed. I tried my best to make it a great night but I won’t be going back there again. Service was inadequate
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Sitting in the high tops wasn't that bad. Good vibes. I recommend the Southern Fried chicken with rice and peas. Delicious!
The food was warm at best. This included soup as a starter, turkey burger, fries and gravy. The bread we ordered with the soup came 10 minutes before the soup. The hot water for tea was also warm. The music was very loud and we had to yell to make conversation. Very disappointed.
Food was great. Price was great. Our waitress was quite slow and inattentive. She was nice and appeared to be new so we have her the benefit of the doubt but she really lacked any kind of attention and let a lot of time pass throughout service. Our appetizer came out after the main and we waited forever for the bill and then once we got that another full 5 mins or more for the machine to pay. And the restaurant was not full. She needs more training but again the food and price was great so if we had another sever I likely would give 5 stars.
Mother's Day 2019 - Staff were great. Even though it was very busy and the kitchen a little slow, the staff kept their spirits up and were very attentive. Brunch menu had good variety and remainder of menu available if you weren't into eggs. My eggs benedict were done perfectly. Not overdone as can happen in some places when they are busy. Sauces were very good and not too thick. Take the Taylor Landing salad as suggested. It offers a lighter alternative than traditional potatoes. The salad has grapes, cheese and very finely slices of apple to bring additional spark to the bed of greens. Sliders were a great alternative to the large burger for those with smaller appetites. Will be back.
The service was AWFUL!
Super slow but polite service.
Food was okay. Hot dish was warm, not hot. Caesar salad didn’t have much taste, and didn’t have enough dressing on it.
I've been there twice and had good food and particularly good service.
Had a wonderful server and the food was fabulous. Will be back.
Sabrina, our server was fabulous with excellent suggestions. We sat near the window and it was too bright but the window blind wouldn't close partway--only fully open or closed. We all refused to use the deafening noise polluting hand dryers in the washroom. No paper alternative.
This was our first time going out to Taylor's Landing. I had the Prosciutto pizza which tasted great with the grapes! Our server, Kaylin, had great recommendations for both food and drinks - and even made the amazing cocktails himself. He provided top notch service. We will definitely be going back and choosing this place over Joey's across the street from now on.
Delicious food. Good service. Wry loud music.
Nice brunch w my parents - they thoroughly enjoyed their meal and my dad liked being able to watch the European soccer game on the tv while we ate
My 2nd time and nothing has changed. 1 server for the entire restaurant over lunchtime. Need I say more. Food was mediocre. Will not return. Only went for the 2nd time at a friends request
It started when we got there and we met our curly haired waitress. She seemed fine until it came time to ordering. My girlfriend ordered a gin and 7 and right after her first sip she noticed a fly in her drink. We had to flag our waitress down because she was very absent the whole night. When she came we told her about the fly and instead of starting off with an apology and replacing it, she said “oh no big deal we’ll make a new one” and my friends response was “ok well I don’t want to pay for this one” and our waitress responded with a “well obviously not. I just said we’re gonna make you a new one”. That was just one for several issues bht over all, our waitress was rude, has no customer service skills, barely came around to the point where we had to ask other waitresses and bus boys for help or to order.
The food was ok, but the sound of the music was too loud.
It was very good. There was a mix up of which server was covering our table at first, but his service made up for it afterwards. Food was very good.
Although our server was very nice, the service itself was lacking. When we got seated we were not given the drink menu, we had to ask for it. When we were ready to order it took a bit for our server to come back. Our drink orders took much longer than our apps. The food was meteocre and drinks were ok. Ordered 4 shots of tequila and by my 4th order I wasn't given any lemon. So overall the service was inconsistent. The value for my meal and drinks was a disappointment.
I have been at this Taylor’s Landing on many occasions. The staff are friendly and helpful but often seem rushed and stretched too thin. Also, the beer I’ve had on the past few occasions was too warm and/or the glass not 100% clean, no head or bubbles. The food is very good as are the portions, would be nice to see other menu items (ie. lamb) found in other Landing locations.
I will be back again very soon.
Great place to go with friends and family! Our server was very friendly. Food was delicious and love the look of the place Overall, it was an amazing experience!
Josh our server was outstanding...as were any of the staff we interacted with...our new favourite place!!!
Food was really good and great value
Table provided was to small.
Terrible service given by Michelle. We waited ages for her to take our order and had to ask another server to ask Michelle to come to our table. We waited again for coffee/tea after the meal and had to ask Michelle to come and take our order again. The tea cup given was filthy and we had to wait for someone to get us a clean one. It was a disappointing, terrible experience and we'll never go there again.
I love my experience at Taylor's Landing ever time I visit. Your staff are always friendly, patient, know the menu well and offer suggestions comfortably.
Winston your Ex chief comes out to say hello when I ask my server to see him. Always polite, curtious, friendly and deights in explaining what goes into making his dishes.
I visit your location at least twice a month and always bring someone who has never experienced
Ordered two burgers (beef and turkey) while they were tasty, portions were poor for the price.
Great service and the food was fantastic and presented well
Really good evening spent at Taylor’s Landing with my best friend. Friendly, very helpful staff, good quality food and really nice wine. We went on a Friday and although it was busy it didn’t feel like it was - the noise levels were fine and the service times good.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day
The food was excellent and the service was very good. Definitely a worthwhile spot for a nice meal either with colleagues or acquaintances. Priced appropriately for food/ambiance.
The decor and the food of Taylor’s Landing are always impressive. The service was attentive but slow. It appeared that the waiter was overwhelmed with too many tables. I have been at the restaurant before and it has been much better.
Requested booth was ready and waiting. Food was good. Server, Josh, was personable and professional at the same time. Offered to give food alternatives and did not rush us to leave.
Thank you, for the great hospitality and amazing service. I would definitely come back here again!
Loved the steak!!
Fantastic customer service; waiter remembered all the family when we were there months ago and exact seating location.
MIght have been the worst pizza I've ever eaten. This is a fine place for families with young children wanting to get out , but beyond that its pretty terrible. The fish taco was the only good thing we had. The tuna salad was awful, they had some super sweet sauce on the plate. Pizza was COVERED in what tasted like parmesan from a box - it was actually grainy tasting. I wasn't expected gourmet food, but this was very sub par. They also sat us near the door on a freezing night and said they would move us when a table came open and they never bothered to check back or offer a new table again despite there being 4-6 tables free within 10mins of our ask.
Had the Peruvian chicken salad which was so good. The combination of flavours was outstanding. I will definitely be going back to have the salad again.
