I love Teatro. Have been going there for 14 years. This was Teatro’s last night. I will miss it so much. It was like family. Love to all at Teatro.

I have been to Teatro many times and this was the worst. The service was marginal and the food was close to tasteless. We had a variety of appetizers and entrees. The sausage and orecchiette had no taste. The best salad looked like it was half eaten. The eggplant parmesan was enough for three people and not tasteful. The waiter seems to ignore us and dirty empty plates stayed on the table for too long and the restaurant was barely half full. A bad meal for 4 that cost more than it's value. Not coming back

Great option for pre-theater dinner. Octopus was cooked perfectly. My wife really enjoyed her very inventive swordfish dish. I enjoyed the Bolognese.

It’s a great place if you’re going to the Theater. They are very helpful in making sure your order is placed right away. The food was delicious and my only complaint is the tables are small and it feels cramped. They have a nice bar . I would definitely go back.

Food here is not great compared to other Italian in the city especially with how expensive it is Caesar salad barely has any flavor or dressing on it. So much that the table next to us said the same. Bolognese is over flavored, chicken parm was tough and not great, prosciutto is really thin and good. Tables are too close to other tables where you’re literally in everyone’s conversations. Won’t be back. Price doesn’t match ingredients. Really surprising since literally every other restaurant in this restaurant group is some of, if not the best in Boston.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Best antipasto dish with such a unique mix of whipped ricotta cheese, roasted peppers, burrata and pesto, white beans, and eggplant caponata - served with exquisite grilled bread. Linguine with shrimp and rigatoni bolognese as if from Italy. Well-timed dishes. Service there when needed, but not in way. Would definitely recommend.

We try to get to Teatro at least once when we are in Boston. We had a 5:45 PM reservation at the bar because we had theater tickets at 7:00 PM. and were just looking to grab a drink and a bite to eat. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly. The bartender/server was seamless serving the bar and dining room for drinks and taking food orders and attending to the bar patrons. Bread and spread arrived right after ordering our drinks. We were given a minute to settle in and our orders were taken. I had the mussels and my husband had the swordfish. Both were prepared to perfection. we were on our way to the theater with plenty of time. Can't wait to go back.

We were seated promptly, but our drinks took some time to get. The waiter was overloaded and took our order in multiple visits. We received our salads before the rest of our party had ordered. Lots of food deliverers and clearers came to our table but did not always clear the table. The entire occasion was a frenzy. Staff needs work.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have only been back once this past November since the pandemic. The hostess remember me by name which is amazing. Our server Ever was excellent and very attentive. The food is always spectacular. I went to the theatre and then came back afterwards for desert. Always an exceptional experience. I will be back next month.

We had a fabulous experience at Teatro-Boston. We were able to make a reservation the same day. Three of us had 2 entrees and a small plate. The food was excellent. We would definitely go back.

Teatro was a passable restaurant with quality ambiance, good music selection, and friendly staff. However, it felt a bit like a side project for the owners of more notable and most likely slightly higher quality restaurants elsewhere in the city than a fully-fledged flagship that they took pride in. Additionally, the service was adequate but definitely felt a bit underprepared due to ongoing staffing issues - it never hurt the experience, but I wouldn't describe it as elevating it either. Overall, a solid restaurant for a date or night out, but I couldn't see it being anyone's favorite restaurant in the city.
