Welcome to our "cabin in the woods", Tekarra Restaurant, Jasper's fine dining experience since 1952.

Chef Jean Louis Espenel, and owners Mike and Cyndi Day, created a menu inspired by regional products such as Alberta bison and AAA beef, free run chicken, and Catch of the Day. Our appetizers feature small and shared plates and follow the same theme with meat and cheese boards, house smoked trout, and bacon jam.

Our service team are here to ensure you have an enjoyable, relaxing dining experience. Cheers!

    Tekarra lodge restaurant This is a favorite spot of ours. One of those relaxed mountain romantic experiences. Admittedly it’s been sa while since we have been there. I was disappointed. Their old fashioned cocktail was incredibly watery - even with a solid round ice cube. The Lemony Snicket was well done and very enjoyable. We shared the blackened shrimp cocktail - the grilled prawns were literally cold and raw to the bite. Significantly & painfully over spiced. I had the catch of the day. It was good. The coconut sauce was light tasting and runny. Reducing it would have enriched the taste and thickness. I’m not a salt user - but some layering of salt would have made it amazing. My partner had the Tekarra meatloaf. It was perfection! Beautifully prepared and spiced. Both our veggies were really well done and flavorful. It’s an emotional favorite and we will certainly go back - being more careful with our choices in the future.

    An amazing meal!!!... We've been in the Rockies almost two weeks now and it was one of our best (like the Storm Mountain Lodge and Post Hotel!)... 😋😋😋

    Miriam was an excellent server. Food was lovely. We shared 4 items. 2 starters and 2 dinners. Highly recommend. Wine selection was great too!

    Tekarra Restaurant at Tekarra Lodge offered a warm and inviting dining room, a well-curated menu of local dishes and wine/beverage options, and attentive service. The food was exquisitely prepared. We loved it so much that we returned the next evening! It was the best dining experience we encountered during our travels in Banff and Jasper National Parks.

    Mussels great at great price with Stilton sauce. Wild boar schnitzel was crispy and tender. Service was first rate and very helpful. .

    Excellent restaurant just outside of Jasper. We dined two nights and had great experiences. The meatloaf and ravioli are both delicious. Service was very good

    Lovely restaurant for a quiet dinner. We had great service, the old fashioned was good, not great. Husband loved the meatloaf made from boar, elk and bison and I really enjoyed the wild mushroom ravioli.

    When we arrived there, it was so quiet because there was early and nobody was there... and then we saw like 7 or 8 Elk by the window, very nice. And the service was nice, the food was amazing! One of the best meatloaf I ate and I also finish my girlfriend plate which was Mushroom ravioli with chicken... If I return to Jasper, I'll definitely reserve another table! A must go!

    Food was Luke warm to cold. Steak was was supposed to be med rare, was med well. Too bad was hoping for a great meal.

    My parter and I ordered steaks the same way, hers was over while mine was under. The cuts were not high quality either. The corn, potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper were all over cooked, they were just mush. Overall it was pretty disappointing and I’d expect much better for the price. Won’t be going back.

    Delicious delicious meatloaf. Best I’ve ever had. Great cocktails and a lovely atmosphere with excellent and attentive service. Well worth it. Many of the other selections such as the mushroom ravioli were tempting, too. Another great attribute was that it was one minute from our cabin at the lodge. But it’s also worth the drive from elsewhere.

    Our food was below average, I couldn't even cut through the boar loin it was so over cooked. Packaged baby carrots and old potatoes that were dry. My husband had the west coast noodle dish and he didn't finish it. The meal was still over 200. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

    Great restau @ the Tekarra Lodge, worth a visit even if not staying. Boards look amazing! We had the chef special dishes and they were outstanding - fresh ingredients, well prepared and wait staff attentive. Especially appreciated the hike recommendation, too!

    Tekarra used to be a very good restaurant, fine dining, very very good food. It’s nothing like that anymore. For main dish I had salmon which was overcooked, came with bland rice, a piece of corn with no taste and some baby carrots from a bag. It was served with a mango and tomato sauce salsa that didn’t work at all. Not sure what happened, maybe the chef changed but I wouldn’t go back. Better options can be found in Jasper.

    Over night stay at Tekarra resort and dining..Food was spectacular, perfectly done bison strip loin and the meat loaf was to die for.Was not very busy but staffing level was low which was good considering the low demand. Highly recommended when you visit Jasper

    Very nice dinner with superb service. We were there for the birthday of my 16 year old daughter and they prepared a nice dessert for her. Would go again!
