   Very attentive staff, friendly service, food was excellent! The only recommendation I have would be to slow down speed of bringing different courses out. It felt a bit rushed, we were still working on appetizer when entrees were served but still a great experience- food was excellent and hot! Great cocktails too!

   A few menu items -incl desserts- were not available which was a bit disappointing however the food we did choose was excellent. We wondered if givien the price of food if restaurants everywhere will start downsizing their menus just to avoid waste?? The risotto is fantastic! The special of scallops and linguine was very much enjoyed at our table as well as the huge Caesar salad with crispy pancetta. Service was very good. Tables are comfortable with privacy which is nice. Would definitely go again —- hoping they will have the bakedAlaska. !!!

   Hubby had the $64.00 steak and enjoyed it. The rest of the group had various apps and salads and although good, all felt it wasn't worth the price asked. Very limited menu. Rebecca, our server, was terrific - she made the evening enjoyable. Most likely won't go back although a new menu expected shortly.

   The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. The service was great and the small menu choices gave something for everyone. The food was good. Enjoyed that you could also watch the kitchen prepare it

   Everything they served was the best I’ve ever had. What still out the most was the crème brûlée because it’s very hard to do it well, but they went above and beyond.

   Mother’s Day brunch: $43 per person. One of us requested a steak knife in order to cut through the pea meal bacon and tough English muffin. The only vegetarian option was pancakes with apple compote. Again, for $43. Twice, the server forgot to bring cutlery. She seemed frazzled. The place was not busy, however. We were never offered coffee (but requested it with dessert). The crème brûlée was not fully set, nor could the tiramisu stand. For the price, the whole experience was pretty disappointing. I’d heard good things about dinner at Tempo, so maybe I’ll give that a try someday?

   I guess we had high expectations on this brunch. There isn't as many brunches in the city and from our experience at Tempo a few times before we thought it was going to be nothing but GREAT. Price: was fair as we got Entrée, Main I had the shrimp cocktail, the tomato sauce was fantastic. My husband had the Goat fondue salad (sort of) and it was fair enough. My main was the Benedict's, a dish in which I had to ask for a steak knife due to the meat being way thick, hard bread, although the bread had a good flavor, we also tried the salmon which was simply at its best; there are so many ways of creating a flavorful salmon! Tiramisu didn't have a good presentation, it looked almost as if it was melting, which I think it was, my pavlova was okay. I asked for a coffee and the waitress said it wasn't included, and clearly it said so on the menu, however, this allows me to touch base on the fact that, it is clear Tempo doesn't have their own staff, as a matter of fact their service becomes poor as the servers lack of experience in serving and don't have knowledge on the menu. Our server brought the Entrées and the Main dishes at the same time, we had to ask to take back the Main courses, so we could have enough time to eat and enjoy our entrées. Not saying the fault relies on someone, but the decisions made by the organizers/owners. I had worked in the past in such business and maybe this is why I am more picky and know what I want exactly. We still visit the place for dinner occasionally as we like their innovation in dishes, sadly this brunch wasn't our best experience at the place.

    The charcuterie board was extremely good. The chicken was beautiful in taste and presentation. Everything was well received excepting the appetizers….one guest had what I thought was rice balls and we had the sardines….the tagliatelle seafood dish was great. We were well taken care of and that was excellent…we would have liked our food to come out faster. Other commitments for some guests. Thank you for your great efforts.

    New Year’s Eve. We had a wonderful meal. Enjoyed some delectable appetizers from the special menu for the evening. The mushroom tart was our favourite. The dark chocolate frozen mousse with blueberry sauce was amazing for dessert. As always we enjoyed our main courses of Chicken Coq au Vin and and Octopus Carbonara. Looking forward to returning as soon as we are able to so we can treat ourselves to some of our other favourite menu items like the Braised Beef Short Ribs with Roast Fingerling Potatoes.     On many occasions we have enjoyed their exceptionally delicious food with pleasant and efficient service. We love this restaurant whether it is just for the two of us or joining friends for fabulous food.

    Amazing food!! The restaurant is so trendy and has a relaxed feel to it, we love the open kitchen so you can watch them preparing the meals and the staff was wonderful! I will definitely be returning!!!

    Overall a quite enjoyable dining experience. Our waiter was great and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything We shared a warm squash salad to start and it was quite delicious. Our main course was the Coq Au Vin. The presentation was quite unique and the chicken was delicious. Desert was a maple crème brûlée, the best ever…. We do not live in this city and if we were to return and go to this restaurant I would have the same dish. My only “gripe” would be the limited menu offerings.

    Most likely one of the better restaurants in Sault Ste Marie for gourmet style dining. Thoroughly enjoyed our very fresh local fish main and recommended the restaurant to some foodie friends we knew were visiting the area shortly after us. would return for sure if back in the area.

    What a great concept! Love the television idea and would like to see smaller ones at each seat for a better view. Food and drinks were very creative and delicious. Service was 5 star. Order everything and share. I can’t wait until they expand their menu and pack the place!

    Service- Top Notch Quality of food and presentation- Top Notch Value- Top Notch Beautifully layed out restaurant with ample spaces between tables. Staff was amazing as well! My guest and I felt welcomed from the time that we entered until we left! Outside of the true to their roots downtown restaurants I highly recommend checking out this place.

    You have to eat here! As ssm locals we've eaten at every restaurant in town and this experience is top 3 for sure! Love the covid safe layout and open kitchen. Felt super personal, perfect for birthdays or special occasions. Food, cocktails, wine and dessert were all incredible.

    I enjoyed sharing the platters. That way I was able to try many different dishes without feeling bloated. The food is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. My partner had a Fumo drink which was cool to see made...they smoked the glass with some lit cinnamon sticks. Awesome!

    Had the charcuterie, oysters, holumi, gnocchi, artisan salad and the crispy octopus - everything was absolutely fantastic! Great ambiance, service was awesome - we found our new favourite date night spot!!! Keep up the amazing work Tempo team!!

    Our server was knowledgeable about dishes and attentive during our stay. Menu wasn't extensive but covers all tastes. Our dishes were hot and excellently prepared. The charcuterie board for 4 was outstanding. Management sent over a complimentary vegetable dish and birthday dessert. Overall it was a great value for what we had. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

    I enjoyed my stuffed chicken but the Tuna was a little raw for my wife. She has never had Tuna before so it was not her favorite meal. over all the experience was good. we will be back.

    I picked the special desert and it was almost like a mousse or custard and it was very tasty. The soup was a cream of cauliflower which was smooth and not bitter. Could have been a bit warmer though I saw them heat the bowls in the big oven as I sat at the open kitchen area.

    I took my parents to Tempo for the first time, they truly enjoyed their time. They kept raving about how amazing the food tasted. They also really enjoyed the atmosphere. Probably one of my favourite places here in Sault Ste. Marie.
