Very intimate setting, the staff was very attentive and helpful. Food was unique and the flavors were exceptional. Wining pairing was great and they were very generous with the pours! Food and wine was on par with similar, more expensive tasting menus we’ve done recently.

Outstanding experience and food. The service was exemplary and the food was out of this world. There were so many nice touches that they did throughout the entire night. I have to say that the Foie Gras ice cream was such a fun a wonderful new experience. And as we progressed through each course we were really impressed at how they built on one another into just an amazing overall experience.
Where do I begin?! While I have had the opportunity to dine all over the U.S., and even globally, this incredible dining experience was singularly, utterly, and uniquely brilliant, even among many Michelin-starred restaurants. The first thing that I'd like to share is that the flavor combinations, complexities and matching (including the reserve wine pairings) were off-the-charts amazing. By the end of the meal, we had thrown in the towel, as our palates (and brains) could not possibly process another manifold, mosaic and marvelous course! I would wager that even the most sophisticated palates will be challenged (in the most surprising and wonderful ways) to take in the veritable bounty of intricate essences. Kudos, Team Temporis, for providing to us one of the most seminal and influential culinary experiences imaginable. Some highlights: the escargot, the capellini, the ONION(!), the venison. Oh, and just in case you were wondering, the dining experience itself is...well, sensual (yes!), from the dinnerware to the flatware, nothing is left to chance, and everything is strategic, additive, to the overall experience. The only note (suggestion) I would leave for the team: Perhaps consider revisiting the background music playlist...(it was just a bit too near rave-y / uptempo at times...). Otherwise, keep doing what you are doing, keep the course, remain brave, fearless - and absolute success shall follow!

A wonderful experience for a foodie! Get to Temporis before it becomes as insanely popular as it deserves to be. Chefs Sam Plotnik and Don Young have done a superb job. The food is a wonderful 10 course meal. The service is impeccable. The ambiance is very contemporary and very conducive to a 2.5 hour feast for your senses. One of Chicago's best.
Temporis is the city's best kept secret. They have some of the most incredible food that will impress any foodie without being unapproachable. Each plate had thoughtful balance and aesthetically delightful plating. The food was inventive without forgetting that the flavor comes first. The chefs show a wide range of techniques across the menu. You would never know that there are only two chefs behind the curtain of the coziest kitchen. One would be in awe of the precision and inventive dishes that come out of the small kitchen. Each dish came out at the perfect temperature. (My worst nightmare is when food comes out cold when it should be hot, and you spend too much money for less than mediocre food.) Temporis thinks of every detail and timing. Excellent pace between each course. I cannot rave about the food enough.
The space itself is very sleek and cool without being uninviting. When first walk in you are welcomed by the most warm and friendly staff. The wine pairing (I did the reserve, high worth it) was perfectly matched and transitioned beautifully from one wine course to the next. The amount of information given was not too much and not too little.
Additionally, I included extra notes on my open table reservation. The chefs and staff went above and beyond my expectations. It was a personalized meal for me and my dinner date. If you are looking for a really special meal for any occasion, go to Temporis.
Excellent food and service. They adjusted nearly every dish to avoid an ingredient preference, which was far more than most similar restaurants will do for a tasting menu. Will be back!

My third time at the restaurant and still wonderful. The food is very inventive with fantastic flavors and beautiful presentation. Drinks were great (thank you, Audrey), and Laura and Audrey do a wonderful job of pacing and describing the various courses. A terrific tasting menu that I would recommend to anyone. Also a very nice wine list with bottles in all ranges. Don't miss Temporis.
The service was excellent and the ambiance was quiet. The food was all prepared with care but days later I can't say anything really will last in my memory. The wine pairing, while generously poured, wasn't really a hit with every course. Therefore the value wasn't really there for me.
The food is really good. Last time I enjoyed every dish on the tasting menu was at Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare :) The fore gras ice cream is so good, it's so much better than the one in Band of Bohemian. It's not too fat or too sweet.

We celebrated Valentines Day at Temporis and wow - I am so glad we did. Tasting menus are always a treat but this was something amazing. I had the premium wine pairing and my husband had the regular pairing. Both were perfect. Five wine selections perfectly complemented the ten courses. The attention to detail : spectacular. Sevice : awesome.
This isn't just an adventure for the palate but for the eyes and nose as well. I don't want to give away any surprises in my review. When L2O in Lincoln Park closed, I feared we'd never have such an intimate food experience like that again. Temporis didn't disappoint in any regard.
Some tasting menus includes one course (or more) that you could live without. Not so here. Everyone was excellent, inventive and worthy. Well done!
We went to Temporis for Valentine's Day and had the best experience! The staff was welcoming and attentive. We genuinely enjoyed every single item on the menu! (And usually there are one or two items on a tasting menu that you "appreciate for the art of cooking" -- here, everything was not only beautifully prepared, but delicious!) And bonus: everything smelled DELICIOUS! It was perfect for a fancy date!

Another impressive dining experience at Temporis. Yet again it was a fantastic all around evening. Such warm, personable and attentive service, beautiful and comfortable dining room, excellent wines and course-after-course of amazing cuisine. Definitely one of the most under-the-radar venues in town; Temporis has become among my favorite restaurants.

Very good. The food was very creative and they had a nice wine pairing. Tasting menu was good and just the right amount for our desire. We loved the creative use of micro greens that are grown on the premises.

Temporis is what you expect in a modern fine dining establishment. Great atmosphere, service and surprising / creative / delicious food. Highly recommended.
One of the best meals I ever had. Quite a unique menu that included duck, venison, octopus and scallops. The food was phenomenal, a symphony of flavors and smells.
This restaurant flies under the radar, and serves only a chef's tasting menu -- you don't really know what you will get until you arrive. But that is part of the fun -- the food was outstanding and highly creative with many combinations and cooking methods I would never have expected. Both food and service are outstanding -- be prepared to take your time and enjoy the experience. We took the 2.5 hours predicted. 9 courses of adventure and each was a pristine jewel, nothing was a true miss but the absolute stand-out was the course with octopus cooked sous vide -- spectacular flavor and the octopus itself had the texture of a good scallop -- slightly firm on first bite then soft and luscious. Best I have ever had.

The food was close to the best restaurants in Chicago like alinea, grace and oriole but just not as good of a fine dining option as those. Would rather just spend a little extra and go to one of those. Its about 80 percent as good and about 80 percent of the price so I guess it’s fair enough if you think of things that way.
Tonight was an awesome experience. From the welcome to the intimate atmosphere. The food was well balanced and thought provoking. Unexpected elements and fun twists on classic elements lead to an excellent meal. The wine pairing was thoughtful and complimented the dishes throughout. I look forward to a return trip for a different season's menu!

Temporis is a nice addition to the Chicago dining scene. The chefs show great innovation and produce quality, creative, well thought out courses. Wine parings are nice and reasonable. It's a very intimate restaurant with a limited number of tables. Service is excellent. Overall, a really nice experience.
This is a hidden jewel in Chicago! Everything from the food to the service to the dinnerware, to the atmosphere was perfect. One must be adventuresome in terms of food and be able to put him/herself in the hands of the two exceptional chefs. Each one of the 10 courses was outstanding and creatively conceived and presented. My husband and I will be back again and again and again.
Why is Temporis not at least one Michelin star? Great inventive food and now a fantastic wine list. Go here and appreciate fine dining at it best.
The two chefs at Temporis continue to create phenomenal tasting menu. I've been twice now, and I enjoyed the menu equally as much, if not more so, the second time. Menu items have changed with the seasons, and I would categorize all the courses as successes. One of the things that struck me on this visit was the sublime treatment of vegetables; it isn't only protein receiving royal treatment. The service was superb as well. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I've driven by here a million times and finally looked it up online. So glad I did!! My husband and I dined here recently and really enjoyed our meal. It was very creative food and all of our dishes were tasty. At some prix fixe places not all of the dishes are excellent--we would say the all of the dishes were excellent! We will definitely return. Recommend the wine pairings.
We selected Temporis for date night and absolutely loved the entire experience!! From the knowledgeable and tentative staff to the carefully crafted flavorful dishes, the dinner was definitely memorable. We decided to do the wine pairing (do it!) and ended the dinner with some of the best coffee I have ever had. With the current menu, my top 5 dishes were the Merguez, Octopus, Duck, Wagyu and Robiola. BUT honestly, they were all fantastic dishes. GO.
