   Great ambiance, service and food! Austin was our server and he made fantastic recommendations. The cucumber water drink is a must try - my favorite mezcal cocktail in Austin thus far. Will return.

   This was a major let down and the fish was smelly. Also, the servers were not knowledgeable. Terrible experience.

   Over priced and underwhelmed. Fish quality was not good and the servers seemed like they had better placed to be. The sunomono and edamame was good but the maki and sashimi was way over priced and not very good. There are better places to go for sushi in Austin and this is definitely not it.

   TenTen wasn't bad food by any means. It just wasn't good compared to the price point it was at. The chicken karaage appetizer is basically chicken nuggets. The a5 Waygu nigiri was overcooked and not as soft as Waygu should be. Great atmosphere but we probably wouldn't go again.

   Sushi was excellent. Will definitely be back. The menu was full of unique options, and our waiter Dalton made the experience truly remarkable. He navigated us through with his expertise and attention to every detail. Highly recommend TenTen and would also suggest requesting Dalton as your waiter!

    Great Japanese food here. All of the dishes we ordered were well done, very well presented, and absolutely delicious. This was a great spot for a date, and I am glad I booked it! I highly recommend this place for a date, and they even have accommodations for small groups. They have a great mocktail menu as well if you want to drink something fancy, but don't want alcohol.

    There are so many other great places in Austin, I wouldn't spend your money here. Didn't love anything that we ordered and our bill was $125 for two cocktails, two sushi rolls, edamame, and nigiri.

    TenTen = 10! I was thinking about leaving my review just that, and I know I must expand a bit more. The mushroom dish, phenom. The real winner and star of the show, is their rendition of chicken nuggets. Game over when you order that dish. I know you are thinking an Asian fusion place - chicken?!? Trust me, I said the same thing until I had them. And a pro tip, have the nuggets with freshly sliced peppers, and you will certainly see this dish differently. Lastly, if you are into sake, you must order a bottle of Moon on the Water. If you are not sure and want to try it, try a small tasting into a wine glass so the flavors open up, I promise you, your palate will thank you. I can go on but I will want to leave you with curiosity to go and try it for yourself :-)

    The overall experience was pleasant but certainly not worth the price tag. We ordered hamachi gyoza tacos which were delivered as tuna. We waited to eat to ask if we were served the wrong dish by mistake but no one came by so we ate them. The taco shell was greasy and the filling not flavorful. When our server returned we asked if we received the wrong dish and were told “oh yeah I just found out from the kitchen that it is tuna tonight.” We said it was ok as we had already eaten it but really at these prices per dish it’s not ok to make substitutions without letting guests know ahead of time. There was one guy who served some of our dishes who took the time to explain what was in each dish and we appreciated him but many items just came out plunked down on the table with no explanation. I had to ask on girl to come back and tell us what dish she just served us. Her answer was something like “toro”. One word, nothing else. Anyway there were some good dishes and some that were just ok, nothing tremendously bad but not worth the $$ as we had just been to Uchi the month before and the cost was the same for a drastically different experience. Also, it was my birthday which was not acknowledged at all.

    I really like TenTen one of my favorite places with good crowd and fairly decent food. They usually always do their well with their service. This time I was with a friend of mine and well we just had a pretty sizable meal with drinks as well. So we were just catching up and the waiter kinda rushes the ticket on us while still chatting. So I paid the bill and we continue to sit and talk for a little and mind you it was not very crowded at the time at all (7:30-8ish on a Wednesday ). So another waiter comes over and says basically you have to leave because we other people waiting on that particular table. But there was plenty of open 2 sit tables and I just paid the check less than 5-10 minutes ago. So my friend got upset and fault it was really rude to be rushed out of a restaurant were we just spent a pretty sizable amount of money to be treated that way. Also it did not allow for us to catch up and enjoy the ambiance. I myself did not like it and think that TenTen needs to have some customer engagement training on professionalism.

    our server, caitlin, was absolutely splendid and gave us reeeeally wonderful recommendations for sake and food. she steered us in suuuch great directions! her and another server, jae, were so friendly. my entire table had a blast and a great first impression of the restaurant. we’re definitely coming back!

    Overall underwhelming and overpriced. This establishment should be embarrassed. The miso soup was burnt. The sushi was cut poorly and the quality was mediocre. I am surprise that they are trying to pass off as something authentic. Their saving grace was the service. Our server, James, was very nice and attentive.

    It’s so extremely dark in the restaurant. It’s just too much. Can barely see what you are eating. And good thing I guess. The portion sizes are more like tapas. We had the edamame a which was lovely. Great taste. The mushroom cerviche was just ok. Mostly a vinegar taste not my favorite or what I was expecting. The shrimp tempura roll was good. And was truly the best thing we ordered and the size was decent for the price. The Wagu steak was tasty. But still just not worth the investment it requires. Our service was ok. Not remarkable. Our server was often hard to find. And the restaurant although busy was not packed. And he appeared to only have a few tables. Not heading back here. Too many others to try.

    My friends and I came in for a weeknight dinner and shared everything family style. We ordered a few appetizers, the shishito peppers, cucumber sunomomo and charred edamame- all so flavorful and fresh. Then we shared a few maki rolls such as the toro, hamachi, chirasi, and braised mushroom which were all super tasty and great amount for 3 people to share. I personally got the yuzu picante cocktail, loved it and you will too if you like pineapple flavored cocktails

    Some dishes were definitely good, but the food overall did not live up to its expectations considering the amount of money spent. Also, our waiter, although friendly and kind, was not as attentive to us as we would've liked, which resulted in long wait times between our ordering/dishes. Glad to have had the experience, but would not return and wouldn't recommend it to a friend as I know of other restaurants in this category and caliber that would be more worth the time and money.

    Came here for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was exceptional and every dish was a hit. Less impressed with the Geisha cocktail (?!) but the other cocktails were lovely. Nice helpful waitress and the ambience was intimate and lively. I love Asian food so this is going to be on my radar for a date night in Austin!

    Ambiance is nice. Service was good, forgot an appetizer but recommended great sake. Over all food was ok, lots of great fish but covered with truffles and oil. Super expensive for the quality of food. Actually left to go eat another two entrees at another restaurant down the street after spending $175.
