A real find in Jasper! The food was creatively cooked and presented. The side dishes (all veggies) were delicious and interesting. We sampled two desserts - excellent. The service was a bit ho hum but somehow that added to the charm of the evening. We will definitely eat there again.

Food and service was amazing! The pasta with the wild greens and asparagus was so good, I will be going back and having it again! Would recommend as the ambiance would work for many occasions. Was there on a Thursday night and there was live music which was lovely.

Very good food with contempory flavors. Sides of " burned" asparagus and roasted radishes were excellent with the "melt in your mouth" steak entry. Stylish but comfortable surroundings. Only negative was "overenthusiatic" server.

We loved our experience at terra. Angela was our server and she was amazing. Went above and beyond to recommend things for us to see while on our honey moon here! The food was insanely good too! We got the $89 steak dinner for 2 and it was worth every cent! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in Jasper!!

The food was good, portions were really small and not aligned with the description. We ordered the “tomahawk” dinner for 2 and is not really a tomahawk and is not really for 2. The waiter said it was a 20oz piece of meat, and we doubt it was even 16oz. We had to order bread at the end as we both were hungry. It is important to mention that we are NOT big people, we don’t eat massive amounts of food, we eat regular portions all the time. Flavour was good, the bread with the maple butter was great and the salad was also really good. The meat was good, but not outstanding. Advice to the restaurant management: be honest with your customers. The respectful thing to do is to said exactly how big the portion is and the customer can decide whether they want it or not. But don’t lie about the cut and don’t lie about the size. That is not nice, and even when the flavour of the food is good, you’ll lose many customers over time and will eventually be out of business.
TerraResponded on April 17, 2023I'm sorry you had this experience with us, please know I've already took action to fix these issues and take these reviews very seriously. We did at one time have the tomahawk but have since changed this to a 20oz ribeye, we've changed the promotion online and got rid of any menu's that are wrong. Our cuts are weighed but we are taking extra precaution to ensure the right size. Our menu is great for sharing dishes, I recommend adding extra share plates which we would gladly make for you.

Deliciously special food experience!! It made our trip to Jasper from Edmonton with family that came to visit us from Ontario & our 6 month old baby even more memorable. We had the tomahawk, corn ribs, beef cheek, potatoes, and parsnips: 12/10 👏🏻 Ps. Our servers name was Michael - he was awesome!

The food was good but the portions were very small. I would not recommend this restaurant to friends, the prices are to high for what you get. we ordered as shared tomahawk steak (20oz), I think the bone on the plate must have weighed 15 oz

The food choices were small which was fine but the trout we order was nothing special! What make it memorable was the server he was pretty good. Went back the next morning for quick brunch & that was a complete different experience. There was no other patron except us and the server failed to check on us even once! Not asking how the food were nor asking if we would want to get our coffee refill! The worse yet, we have to stood up to ask for a bill. Just how they claimed to be “No matter the time of year, we always offer something new and unexpected.” This morning was definitely unexpected with the service

Everything about our visit was fantastic. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive to us. Explained the menu to us, as we didn’t know what half the things were- but what he recommended was amazing. A little pricey, but everything was so good. Worth the splurge for our Anniversary dinner. Loved the drink he recommended, it had glitter in it! So neat.

Outstanding! It was my 60th birthday. The drink “Dark and Stormy” was so good, I had two. How do you say no to glitter? New bartender nailed it! We had the special “steak for two” that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Kudos to the chefs. Our server Izzy, was wonderful, and lead the singing of “happy birthday”, while bringing me the best dessert I’ve ever had… parsnip and bailey’s ice cream - I kid you not! I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful ambiance upon arrival set the stage for an excellent experience. Drinks were excellent, and had rave reviews about the Caesar drink from a Caesar aficionado. The majority of our group shared the special of the night, which was a Tomahawk steak and a wonderful salad. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sides were excellent. Prices were reasonable and our server Mat was very attentive to our large group. I highly recommend Terra, and we will be back next year with our group.

The ambience, food and service were excellent. It was our first time eating at the Terra restaurant and we booked online prior to arriving from Edmonton. We had the Tomahawk steak special for two to share and it did not disappoint. Our waiter Michael was excellent and a wealth of knowledge and took the time to ensure we did not want for anything. We are planning to come back to Jasper in the fall and will definitely book again. Highly recommend.

We waited 50 minutes for our first course, for a four course meal. Then another 15-20 minutes between courses. The food was delicious and our server was very polite and apologetic. Waiting as long as we did means we will not be repeat customers.

Great food great drink choices! I’m not an adventurous eater but I tried things that I normal would like bone marrow which is amazing! Fried green tomatoes can’t go wrong with those! Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable and can’t wait to come back
