All in all it was a pretty good experience with great food. The ambiance was nice and it wasn’t too loud in the restaurant. Menu could have had a few more options though. Service was decent and friendly.

We had reservations at Terra for breakfast on Sunday October 8th. In our opinion service was slow we waited 33 minutes for our order to arrive. Portions were small, and our waiter ignored refilling our water glass's up during our meal. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry and I would hesitate on recommending this restaurant for breakfast.

This restaurant was recommended at our hotel and we decided to give it a try, our culinary experiences in Jasper had been very disappointing si we were gladly surprised with Terra. The food was really good, service was excellent but wine was not that great( not many options to choose from). Overall it was great experience and I will recommend to visit Terra when in Jasper.

Varied menu with plenty of options. Drink specials for early arrivals. Home made truffle chips were a good starter. Fish was fresh and well prepared. Not from the area so a one time visit. Would recommend.

We arrived in time for happy hour. Their low alcohol beer was good and their rose wine was just fine. We ordered their corn rib and duck poutine appetizers. No complaints - the corn was fun and the poutine good. Happy hour ended and we shifted to ordering mains.The farmers cut sounded great - 4 chicken drumsticks soaked in buttermilk and then prepared with a crust and a gochujang sauce. We also needed to choose 2 sides - nothing on the list sounded like it would work with a Korean styled main. We settled on potatoes and carrots (rainbow carrots with Hummus, & Za'atar). Instinctively we new the carrots were not going to work - but apparently having just roasted carrots was not an option. So the carrots were a fail. It was flavor fight with no winner. The potatoes worked. The chicken - undercooked on the inside and tough to cut - a tough crust and a very very small amount of the gochujang sauce. At best the staff were disinterested and had little knowledge of the food offered. A table near us - received the wrong menu!! Then expressed their frustration they couldn’t have what was ordered. On the positive side another table ordered the zucchini and stated it was amazing. We will pass on this spot next time.

The food at Terra was very good. We enjoyed all our appetizers and entrees. The environment is a bit noisy particularly if they sit you in the middle so we asked to be moved towards a corner and it was better. Service was pretty slow and at the end we waited about 20 minutes after dining to get our bill. If you have plenty of time to relax, the food makes up for the small annoyances.

Die Reservierung war unproblematisch und sehr gut organisiert. Es gab noch eine Nachricht per SMS und alles war vorbereitet als wir ankamen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, das Fleisch und die Pasta waren auf den Punkt zubereitet. Die Portionen sind völlig ausreichend und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ein sehr schöner Abend mit 4 sehr zufriedenen Gästen.

Void food. Very unique presentation and “different” in a contemporary way. We split the 12oz Bison steak - delicious if you like a lean meat. We did. If you want a little more fat and tender get the ribeye. The server was excellent and helped us choose our selections since we were first-timers. All in all - great experience.

While the food was good, we were disappointed by the service. Our server, an Australian woman, barely went through the motions. She showed little interest in her work, quickly rattled off a summary of the restaurants offerings, and dropped off our food with barely a word. The restaurant wasn't even busy. She just seemed check out, distracted, and even mildly inconvenienced by our presence. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend Terra to friends and family vacationing in Jasper.

We ordered steak. It was completely over cooked for what we ordered. Tried to get our servers attention for a while with no luck. She never came to check on us or ask us how our food was or anything. We couldn’t even finish our dinner. It was my birthday and I was really looking forward to eating here. Would not recommend!

Terra was terrible! Definitely not impressed. My husband and I ordered the halibut meal for two for $90. It came with two sides and ONE plate of fish for us to share. One piece of fish on a plate! So why am I being charged for a dinner for two?? It was smaller than the dinner portion our friend ordered for $46. Don’t waste your money

Awful experience as our orders still had not arrived after 1 hour and we were then told another 15mn, then 15 mn later another 10mn… while people around us were getting served much faster. I can only guess they were serving the hotel residents first (this is a hotel restaurant). When we complained to the manager she refused to acknowledge the problem and tried to blame first our orders (a well done steak apparently takes over an hour to cook) then our attitude (complaining = being rude) and trotted out some well rehearsed lines, including the “do not be rude to the staff” which our very nice waitress denied in front of her as we had been polite and patient throughout. By the time our very bland food had arrived, we had lost our appetite. Very rarely have we encountered such bad attitude from a restaurant manager. Avoid.

As soon as we walked into Terra we were impressed. it was tastefully decorated and laid out. Our attendant, Bella, was polite, energetic and charming as well as very attentive.

My meal and my wife’s breakfast meals were extremely bland. No salt or pepper on the eggs or the omelette. I had the breakfast sausage that was obviously deep fried and dried out completely. I couldn’t even finish it. The roasted potatoes were pretty good. Smitty’s would have been a much better option.

The only downside was we tried to order a mocktail and cocktail from the drink menu but were told they didn’t have them available. Otherwise had a very pleasant dinner with great service in a beautiful Scandi organic setting. Would return.
