Pub quality food, haut cuisine pricing! Beautiful location and great ambiance. Service was so so. The food was mediocre in quality and and it was extremely overpriced. For example, their $37 burger was the equivalent of the kid-sized or bite-sized burgers at The Works minus the high quality patty and the choice of condiments you get at the Works. Would probably go back but only for an afternoon tea.

Great food, questionable service and wasps, wasps, wasps. Ruined the entire experience and left early. Had a wasp died in my drink and the waitress did nothing and still charged is for it.

Beautiful outdoor dining, simple choice of food, not too fancy but we enjoyed it. Our server Matthew was very helpful and knowledgeable, he recommended something my husband and I enjoyed. The only downside is the temperature got colder so we rushed our dinner, thanks to the staff who offered blankets to everyone who needs it including my hubby 😉

A beautiful day for lunch on the Chateau’s terrace . A great view of the Parliament buildings and Gatineau Hills. Lunch was excellent as was the service. It is expensive but nice for an occasional treat. Great place to go with out of town guests!

The food was absolutely delicious. We’ve eaten here many times and it never disappoints. Having said that, they must have been short staffed as service was SLOW. Definitely make reservations or you may Not get seated. Saw many get turned away.

We had a really lovely lunch. The staff where very accommodating and pleasant and the food good. The wasps were a problem but I know that they were trying to deal with that. All in all a lovely experience.

Juan-Carlos the host greeted us pleasantly and seated us in the high tops with a spectacular view. Youness was our waiter and he executed the highest level of fine dining service. The food and service and view was amazing. Weather was great. The downside to our lunch was the amount of wasps circling us the whole time. There were A LOT of them! It was difficult to fully enjoy our meal as we were swatting them away. We rushed through our meal and did not stay longer to enjoy dessert or more drinks. There weren't any wasp traps. That would have definitely helped.

When I did my reservation for this place I expected have an amazing experience because I'm was staying at fairmont chateau hotel and this a very famous hotel at Ottawa but honestly my experience at this restaurant was the most horrible that I had. Server took around 20 minutes to take my first order (only drinks) and my drinks and food took 1 hour and a half to coming to my table!!! Even when the place wasn't busy. The food was bad and expensive!!! I'm very disappointed with my experience at this place and I didn't recommend it to anyone.

Wasps EVERYWHERE! To the point we left before finishing as multiple wasps were in our drinks and food. We even moved tables in hopes the amount of wasps would diminish - no luck. Completely ruined our dining experience.
