Been there twice already and have not been disappointed. Food; ambiance & service are above par. Do yourself a favor and stop in. I'll be back soon. Thank you, Jose and Miguel!
Frankly, we were looking for a decent meal after spending all day at Columbia Presbyterian after our son had surgery. Our expectations were exceeded. Service was superb. All the servers/hostess/bar tenders wearing masks and very attentive. Drinks (mixed for me, wine by the glass for wife) were exceptional. Wife had Branzino which was perfectly done with excellent side spinach. I had Lobster bisque pasta which was loaded with tender lobster (poached??) in a super sauce, not overly seasoned to allow the flavor of the shellfish to come through. We shared the tres leches dessert which I was uncertain about ordering since I usually think it's too sweet and usually soggy. This had a crunchy crust and a lovely serving of tres leches ice cream. Amazing!
A meal this good would be much more expensive downtown. We found this place because of its proximity to the Hospital, but will be back for sure just for the food. Definitely worth a detour!
Always a good time with great food at this little hidden gem. I love it!
Food was great, just wish there was more of it. Great place.
This is a gem in Washington Heights. Increíble service. Fantastic food. Sit at the bar for a carefree yet attentive experience.
The environment and staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. We never had to ask for water or repeat any prior requests. It was great to see the owners working with their staff and assisting.
The food was amazing! I ordered the green chicken panini which was delicious. The chocolate tree blew my mind excellent presentation
Would definitely recommend. The food, drinks and staff were great.
Amazing time, delicious food and drinks. I can see why many would say this restaurant belongs downtown! Cute ambiance and amazing food.
The quality, service, taste, and value was wonderful. We will definitely come back.
This place is perfect for entertaining clients. The food & drinks are delish. Clients are always impressed. Service is always professional. Highly recommend for any occasion.
Outstanding on all fronts. The Risotto with oxtail is beyond! Actually I’ve had a few dishes, all are epic!
Great atmosphere and food.
Great ambience and delicious drinks and food. I got the crab cake Benedict. The rice filler for the crab cake was a good idea but a bit bulky. They should use less rice and more crab or grind down the rice to be less grainy. Unfortunately Parking is not great at the location
I have visited this location 4 times now and every time it seems to disappoint me each time. The quality of the food has decreased from the first time my friends and I had first dined there. It was not busy, considering it was the brunch rush on a Sunday, and it seemed that mainly management was present and taking orders for tables. A kind manager greeted us and took our order, she did not write it down and did get one of the modifications of an order incorrect, it was a dairy allergy, which concerns me. We had also ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes to share and they came out cold. Lastly, the avocado toast was amazing the first time I tried it, mixed with the right spices. Now it seems they spread regular avocado on the toast with no flavor. Considering how expensive it is, I was expecting better quality of food, ambiance, and service. I really enjoyed the first time I stumbled upon this cute location and hope that my next visit will be better. Otherwise, I'll have to find a new brunch location when I visit New York.
Remarkably good restaurant, unquestionably the best in Northern Manhattan. Expensive, but worth it, and no more costly than a good mid-town venue.
Terravita never fails to exceed our expectations. Best restaurant in upper Manhattan- bar none!
Took my diner club to savor my favorite neighborhood restaurant. They were all very impressed. The owner and staff were very attentive. And he told us Terravita now has live jazz and wine tasting on Thursdays.
We sat outside for brunch. The food was very good, and so was the service. I would recommend this restaurant for brunch.
The food and service are both amazing!!! We had the oxtail risotto, lamb and burrata. Will be back again !
The menu was creative and the food was delicious. Service was very attentive. The music as a little loud, but was live music, which was nice.
attention to detail in every aspect! food was good and ambiance great!
It was wonderful.
We had a delicious brunch in the outdoor seating area. Staff was pleasant & attentive. The food was delicious. We had a very enjoyable meal!
The food was great as always They are just very expensive and the brunch and lunch menu are very boring I suggest going for Dinner.
The staff and the food was excellent. My only negative comment is the wait time between drink orders was a bit long.
The food, the restaurant decor, and service was terrific. But the vibe was conducive to dancing. Too loud for a beautiful dinner.
Terravita is an amazing restaurant with great service, excellent food, and phenomenal drinks.
My wife and I visit for all occasions and love to introduce friends and family to our favorite restaurant in Washington Heights. I highly recommend the Oxtail Risotto, Beef Short Ribs, and Peking Duck Tacos. Our favorite dessert is the Tres Leches French Toast.
Consistently outstanding food with a creative flair and very attentive service! Great to have a restaurant of this quality in the neighborhood!
Went to Terravista for Sunday brunch and the food was excellent. The service not so much. Waiter seemed ticked off that we asked him to clean/disinfect the table because we thought it felt sticky and disappeared for 10+ minutes after. He never checked back on us even once after the food came out; we had to ask a bus person to fetch him. As great as the food was unlikely to head back due to the sub par service.
This place is beautiful, it does not feel like you are in Washington Heights. I had the green chicken panini and it was delicious.
Beautiful interior design, amazing food and outstanding service. Definitely will be going again!
Waiter was excellent. Food was perfect. I had the Branzino and one of the best I’ve had.
an excellent neighborhood restaurant...we were so excited to find it.
It’s a beautifully designed restaurant. The food is every bit as wonderful. The staff is amazing - attentive, charming, present but not obtrusive. An excellent meal.
We loved the food! We love the service. We thought the music was a tad loud but it is not going to stop us from coming back again. We look forward to trying everything on the menu.
I had a great time! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and elegant. And the service was awesome. I will be coming back.
Love this restaurant. The service supercedes my expectations. The food is tantalizing to the eyes and the taste buds. Portions are perfect. The desert was so unexpected, but once you put your spin in the clay pot, it awakens your senses. Love it!
