Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.

Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below. Il Covo degli Artisti, our third-floor space is a cosy lounge once home to The Arts and Letters Club where Canadian landscape painters “The Group of Seven” ate and drank in 1909.

    I think it’s time to improve washroom facilities and tables outside should be nicer. Food was was not as good as your Price location. Somewhat disappointingly when all is said and done.

    Poor experience. After waiting for 1.5 hours we had to ask them to pack our food in boxes to go. They had a big table beside us and they decided to give them full priority.

    While all the past times I’ve been here food has been good, this ocasion the pasta was just far too salty, service was quite slow but our server was very nice

    Family of four two meals came out then 10 minutes later one more and by the time last person got meal the rest were done. Missed on timing. Otherwise everything was great.

    I always enjoy eating here. Food and service is very good. The only unfortunate issue is how packed in they seat customers. While it is loud, that is expected. I had the charcuterie plate to start which had a lot of meat and very little cheese. It was enough for 2 which the menu should make clear. The main course were very tasty. The wine was also very good. My only other pet peeve is their no substitution policy which means you also can’t even get butter for the bread…which I think is a bit ridiculous. However, the place was packed with customers so doesn’t seem to be an issue for many. I will return.

    Just not as good as our previous visits. The service was good, but the food lacked the pizzazz & love we've experienced in the past. There was no table check (outside of our server) throughout our dinner.
