Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.

Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below. Il Covo degli Artisti, our third-floor space is a cosy lounge once home to The Arts and Letters Club where Canadian landscape painters “The Group of Seven” ate and drank in 1909.

    Great girls’ night out after a tough work week to hang and chill out. Fabulous wine, food + ambience was great. Must admit the wine was over the top pricey but it was worth it. Had to have the second bottle to go with our food. Loved the grilled octopus in nice smoky sauce with tomato, olives and capers. Shout out to our amazing server. Would definitely go back.

    Excellent pasta and apps. The pizza came out a little cooler. I would attribute this to how busy the evening was. Otherwise it's always excellent at Terroni

    2nd time at Terroni - returning as soon as we can (From Saskatchewan). Was referred by a co-worker a few months ago and brought my office staff back last night while in TO for meetings. SVP attended and was very impressed - more evenings to follow- Im sure. Thank you for the great dinner and service. Very tight quarters last night, which is not terrible, but a nice young couple had to sit attached to our table of 6. I felt worse for them than us. See you soon. Glen

    We absolutely adored the ambience. It was a beautiful building with so much history behind it all. Everything started off well, until the main dishes arrived. The pizza turned up at our table cold, as did the ravioli we ordered. It was not an enjoyable experience.

    food is good a few more choices with meat would be nice not just pasta with meat definitely would recommend to friends only the cappuccino was luke warm probably the waitress leaving at bar too long before delivering it

    I went to Terroni with 8 work colleagues in from Ottawa and Manitoba who were in a hotel east of Yonge street. We had never actually met face to face before. They put us upstairs at a large, square table. The room upstairs is beautiful. The server was great. The food was excellent with decent portions and the noise wasn't so bad. It was a little hard to hear the person on the far side of the table but it's a large room with 30 foot ceilings so that's to be expected. Overall, no complaints and would definitely go back. Prices are high but that's to be expected. Having eaten at Eataly this past weekend, I can say that Terroni is less expensive and the food and ambiance are substantially better in comparison.

    Great service, very good food. The only thing they missed for being an Italian restaurant is that the lemonchello is not served properly. It needs to be served in either a frozen glass or it should be frozen.

    We were a party of six seated on the highest level of the restaurant. I am not sure if people get the worst service up there but we certainly did. The food was cold and basic but the worst was the service. We will never go back as I hate wasting my money.

    Nice place! The prosciutto and fior di latte appetizer and the gnocchi were delicious!! The Rigatoni All'Amatriciana was good, but could be even better if it had more sauce. Good (but expensive) wine list. The Trio dessert was ok, somewhat flat in texture (only difference were the flavours). Pleasant ambience and great service! Our Anniversary celebration was recognized from the comment on the reservation, but no special treat was offered for the occasion.

    Terroni's never disappoints. The ambiance is excellent and the vibe is always good. Warm atmosphere and great food. Our service was absolutely great. Joey was attentive, funny and delightful.     I decided on a whim to have my birthday dinner at Terroni and I am so glad I did. It was so simple to book, no nonsense. My large group of 14 had fantastic service from start to finish. The food was amazing and the drinks were perfect. The inside decor was gorgeous and honestly, would come back here for absolutely any reason. 10/10 night!!

    Overall experience was fine. Annoying that they don't have diet beverages for those with sugar issues. Overall food was above average. Ravioli was disappointing. I would come back. Note: No draft beer served on upper floors.

    Put us downstairs in the basement when the restaurant upstairs was pretty empty Food was cold. Mixed up our kids orders twice. Would not recommend or go back here.

    Very loud and space was tight and could barely fit at our chairs without hitting the next table. Food came out undercooked (not Al dente, could still taste the flour and inside of pasta was rock solid, and left a bitter taste). Service was average and one of the servers (not our main waiter, but one of the assistants) gave side attitude when dropping off food to the table as they could barely fit or reach into the table to drop off food, that’s how tight it was.
