The birthplace of Terroni— 720 Queen Street West is where it all began. When we opened in 1992, with seating for a handful of people, word of mouth quickly made Terroni Queen a neighbourhood favourite.

Great atmosphere, great options for meals
Overall a good experience. Great service and wonderful night out.
Great time. The food was awesome. This was my first time getting the cheese board/plate. I liked that our waitress suggested or gave the option of pear (not sure if this
Normally comes in it?) because I’m gluten free and couldn’t have crackers or bread and then brought bread for my friend. Anyways all the cheeses were delicious and our main dishes were great. Also, the one wine we wanted wasn’t available but she also suggested another option which was great.
I should have read reviews first. The restaurant itself is pretty, nice setting. The food? Underwhelming. For the price and what it looks like walking in, it was disappointing. They will not wiggle at all as far as substitutions or deletions of items go. I ordered pasta bolognese ragu . Asked for spaghetti noodles instead of whatever it came with, they would not accommodate. I conceded and was still looking forward to a hearty tomato and meat sauce with whatever pasta was meant to come with it (menu did not specify). I was given what I can best describe as a hamburger helper meal my mom would’ve made me in the 80s. Their bolognese sauce is simply ground beef on egg noodles, with the greasy run off from the beef as “sauce.” I kindly asked for a side of tomato sauce to add to my pasta, which they refused. Really, really disappointing. Their sense of self importance far trumped allowing a customer to enjoy their meal. Would never recommend to anyone or return.
Not great. Hostess was super rude
Another excellent meal at Terroni - the Tagliatelle Bolognese was excellent.
The tables are way too squished in this restaurant. Aisle chairs are constantly bumped by wait staff and other diners’ tables are only inches apart. Would not return to this location.
The food and service were excellent.
My only “complaint” and the reason I didn’t give full stars for ambiance: We sat in a corner on the ground floor - where the corridor to the washrooms and back patio used to be, prior to remodelling. I was sat facing the wall and at table height it looks really bland. They have hung some artwork at about 5’10”, which adds interest when walking around the space but for the diner facing that wall it feels like you could be anywhere.
Excellent as always! My favourite Toronto restaurant. Great food great staff.
I was very happy the staff noted my food allergy before I arrived
So great to be out again doing a normal activity with my 5yr old, and we could not have picked a better spot to do it! Terroni never disappoints. Awesome food (and wine!) and great people watching!
In this time of resurgent cases of COVID internationally, nationally and provincially, we were so uncomfortable with table placements that we declined to eat at Terroni Queen and left without ordering or eating. The staff were polite and helpful; the restaurant was following recent loosened public health guidelines and was within its rights to place tables as it had. But our table was so close to those on each side that we could easily have reached the plates on each side of us. We would clearly have been within 1 meter of unmasked strangers for the duration of our meal. In our personal and professional medical judgement, the risk of contracting COVID in the circumstances was too great to remain
Great service and amazing food as usual with terroni. Never disappointed.
Came for dinner with my partner. Our server was not very warm or welcoming. She wasn’t rude, but we definitely have had way better experiences with service elsewhere.
We started off by ordering cocktails - those were strong and tasty.
We started with salads - verde and Richhia. Verde was very disappointing, just mixed greens and three tomatoes really. Richhia was excellent, although the portion could have been bigger.
For mains, my partner ordered the vegan Pizza Peppino. She was extremely disappointed, considering it was just a few toppings on a $19 pizza. Barely any flavour, it was 0/10. I ordered the Cavatelli Al Sugo d’Agnello and that was good! Portion was sufficient and flavours were present. 8/10.
Overall, it wasn’t the best experience as my partner did not enjoy the food whatsoever. Most likely, we would not come back.
The food is very expensive and not worth the cost. I understand that restaurants are busy but I don't like to be told I have 1.5 time limit to eat and exit. I would not recommend this place.
Good food. Good service
Very loud, strange to be back in that environment, but very lively for a Wed evening. Calamari is a must have
Our server was great! Food was delicious as always.
The sound level too loud.
Tasty pizzas...big menu all in Italian so felt lost but the server we had was super helpful. I say go here!
Absolutely fantastic! Though, I might not recommend it for a first date (like was my situation) as the lively noise levels and close tables made it difficult to always hear my companion who I was trying to get to know! But can't be beat for food, service, and the feeling of being out at a hip lively place!
The front of house couldn't find my reservation right away, so we stood there like idiots while they gave us the impression that we didn't belong there. Then they finally seated us...as a weird afterthought of a table tucked away from all the others in the corner behind the servers' station - so having them stand over us all night was super fun. One perk was that, even though we weren't offered pepper for our meals, my partner was able to reach over to the station and grab it.
I asked the server a question about wine and he sort of snapped that he couldn't read my mind as to what my budget was before I'd even established for him that I had one - guess I just had that look about me and he felt it was cool to jump to that judgment in a snarky way.
The restaurant was FREEZING. FREEZING. And on top of that, our food (one pasta, one pizza) was not served on dishes that were even remotely warmed, so the food was cold almost immediately after landing on the table.
I used to come here fairly frequently for special occasions when I lived in Toronto from 2004 to 2015...last night it felt like a totally different place. I likely won't be back.
Unreal food, reasonably priced. I would have liked the vegan pasta options to be more than just noodles and sauce for that price, but they have enough vegan options to keep me happy.
Super excited to be back at TonQ! Great ambiance. Terrific service. Food is always excellent. Pasta Limone and Pasta Pasta N’Goppa were bang on. Flourless chocolate cake, gelato and double Americano to finish. Always a pleasure dining at a Toronto staple.
This Toronto institution does not sit on its laurels, the place is very busy, but the quality never wavers. Comfortable and casual, with a menu that covers a wide range of dietary requirements, it is an Italian Gem that has evolved with the times while keeping that classic old world vibe. Grazie!
We are returning patrons to Terroni. When we arrived for lunch the restaurant was empty except for one table. We were taken to a corner two-seat table jammed between the bar and a service station. We asked to be moved. The hostess looked at us as if we had asked to fly to the moon. She didn't seem to understand why someone wouldn't want top be seated in this location, despite the restaurant being virtually empty. She grudgingly took us upstairs (again, main floor empty) after my wife got angry with her clear indifference.
The food server was great and the meal was fantastic, but honestly, I would think twice about returning. ALL of this restaurant's staff needs to understand that they are all part of the experience and that the food is only one part of it.
Extremely crowded, awfully warm and humid. Not pleasant to be there at all.
Simply amazing! We are from Europe and the food and ambience was a true reflection of all the best parts of Italy.
Your site did not provide the time limitation on the seating. Neither did the restaurant when they crashed to confirm the reservation. We were informed just before the seating and again before ordering dessert. Not cool.
Highly recommend any of the pastas! A tad overpriced for what you get but that’s Toronto. Classic Italian and good wine selection.
Great food, great ambience! Had an amazing time! 10/10 would recommend.
Fantastic place. Fantastic environment. Will be back!
Beautifully prepared and presented food. Friendly, attentive and knowledgable wait staff.
Best pasta place ever! Can’t wait to go back for more
We were very excited to reunite with our family from the USA &
were so glad we picked Terroni Queen for an early dinner.
The safety protocols went very smoothly & the staff were all friendly & eager to help & answer questions as we were deciding on appetizers, pasta & pizza main dishes for our table.
We all enjoyed the food, the ambiance & the outstanding service
& will definitely return.
The fried calamari was delicious. We had the San Giorgio pizza and recommend it. Service was friendly and helpful.
Great experience at Terroni while catching up with great friends :)
The food was great, service was great. They needed the table after us, but we didn’t feel rushed.
Best in the business for 30 years. Don't miss out. All locations are good.
This restaurant should not be labeled as kid friendly, our child sustained an injury after tipping back on a chair, the booster seat was firmly attached however the chair was not sturdy at all, there was little sympathy or accommodation provided and quite frankly, this should not be advertised as a family friendly restaurant.
Well situated, food and drinks were consistent
