   Texas de Brazil is a nice place for special occasions. The food is delicious. The salad bar and hot bar areas were well-maintained. However, there doesn't appear to be any strategy for how the meat is served. Our attendant was GREAT and he checked in regularly to help us get the meats we wanted. I would recommend, but caution that it is expensive.

   It was our first time here and it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. All of the meats were delicious, they were hot, cooked perfectly and they even had me eating steak which I don't normally eat. The salad bar had lots of options from hot to cold and everything up there was also delicious. Our server was Lupe and she was very attentive and made our time there great. We will definitely be back!

   This was for our anniversary that included our son. I was asked when I made the reservation what the occasion was. I thought maybe we would get a percentage off or a free dessert. There is no way the 3 of us ate $48 a piece. Some of the meat was tough, to rare, or too salty. The best part...chicken, ranch dressing, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, cheese bread, desserts (that should be included) and just a few other things. I also had a coupon for $20 off but didn't read it well enough.

    Had a great meal and great service as always. However management should care more about the conditions of the restrooms. Shouldn’t have to use the restroom and have the toilet seat slide around because it’s broke or the toilet paper in the floor because the toilet paper holder is broke. I would expect better. It’s not McDonald’s.

    Server Kyle was great. He tried hard to get the food I wanted. But only happened once unfortunately. Meats need to warmer and well done meats need to come out more often.

    We dined with another couple & for all of us it was our first time there. Personally, I would return just for the salad bar, which should be called an appetizer bar. From shrimp cocktail to sautéed mushrooms, the items varied widely. While I liked the meats that were available, I just prefer to order one steak cooked the way I want it, rather than varied cuts of meat. But that’s a personal preference. Overall, I would recommend it for the experience alone.

    We were celebrating our 51st anniversary which I put in the info when I made the reservation.The food was delicious but I was not pleased with the service.Although I made the reservation almost a week ahead, our table was not in a good location at all. Our server was friendly but not attentive enough. We sat there at least over 10 minutes after we finished eating waiting for him to come back. I had hoped that we would be made to feel “special” and I did not feel that at all. We celebrated our 49th anniversary at this same restaurant and it was a lovely experience! I was disappointed and likely will not return here.

    We were visiting Lexington for an equestrian event and wanted a festive night out - we had it here! Lovely dinner, vibrant but not too noisy atmosphere. The staff was attentive but also gave us time when we wanted it. The salad bad is fabulous, great assortment and all fresh. And all the meats were truly delicious. We will come again.

    Wonderfull salad bar with choices of shrimp, salmon, lobster soup, different types of potatoes and many more. The meat is cooked perfectly and comes out regularly enough to keep your plate full. The food handler’s are polite and knowledgeable. Waitress was spot on the whole time. Not your normal steakhouse but one not to miss.

    For first timers, there should be more instruction to the process, and there should be more meat options, along with more cooked options, as rare and medium rare are the main options. Compared the other one I went to in Houston, about 20 years ago, this has less meat options and the salad bar wasn't nearly as big, so the value wasn't as high as I had hoped, but with all that said, the staff, ambiance, and amount were fantastic, as they even sat us 1/2 hour earlier than our OpenTable time.

    My boyfriend and I both love Texas De Brazil and were excited to dine there together for the first time. We were seated promptly, despite showing up 10 minutes early, which we appreciated. Our server was a little delayed in coming by to take our drink orders, but nothing out of the ordinary. From there, the experience went downhill. Much of the food on the salad bar was not fresh. We never received the garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas that are meant to come complimentary with the meal. Our server filled our water glasses at the start of the meal and didn’t do so again until we had already asked for the check (what’s the point of that?). There was almost no one coming around with meat, and what we did get was *all* well done, which was disappointing and not what we expected based on our past experiences. I think all totaled, we were offered meat 7 times over the 45 minutes we were there with green light on the entire time. At the end of the meal, I had to re-inform our server that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and prompt him to offer the free dessert that should be offered on a customer’s birthday. We were seated about an hour before close on a weeknight, which is a traditionally slower time for a restaurant. I understand that this can lead to a dip in quality of food and service, but that’s something I expect from an Applebee’s or Chili’s. Not a restaurant at the price point of Texas de Brazil. We both agreed that in the future we will only ever be dining there on Fridays and Saturdays well in advance of closing but we shouldn’t have to do that. My opinion of this restaurant has seriously dropped, and I’m still very upset about spending the money I did last night. If there’s going to be such a steep difference in quality of food and service night to night there should be a proportional difference in price

    We had reservations for Tuesday evening April 11th for my husband’s birthday. There were just a few people there, so I’m glad we came during the week. Our waiter was wonderful, explained everything we needed to know and was very knowledgeable (it was our first visit there). The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. All of the staff were friendly and everyone was very professional. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as well as just a quiet dinner.

    Although TDB is an amazing experience $50 a pop is quite up there. However, I will not complain about the food. AMAZING! Never disappoints. My table was ready when we arrived, however, we did sit there for about 10 minutes before our server came to take our drink orders. After that, she was on point every single time.
