TGI FRIDAYS - Princeton
This is one of those good news/bad news situations. The good news is that the service was good and the portions were large. I had spinach artichoke dip appetizer and ribs/salmon entree. Dip was pretty bland. Ribs were meaty, but lacked any depth of flavor. As you'd expect, the salmon was farmed. The sauce that accompanied it was the most flavorful component of the meal. All-in-all, it was an ordinary dining experience at a price point approaching fine dining. I wouldn't return if the food had been cheaper.
Hate to give bad reviews, but, YIKES! Service was terrible (completely disinterested waiter didn't know menu, multiple items from our order forgotten MULTIPLE times, couldn't get waiter's attention because he was gabbing with the host), food was overcooked/inaccurate/cold, drinks were weak and warm. The whole experience was SO BAD, it was funny, and laughing together at our pathetic dinner was the only good part of the experience.
Healthy, tasty menu with decent well-priced wine selection.
Server was good, food was not.
Friendly greet and seated promptly. It was an early lunch but waitress had many tables to serve. She did an excellent job. The food is tasty. The manager stopped by at the end to ask about our experience. We had joined the club so we receive points for dining then you can redeem them for free food which we did this time.
I am allergic to seafood, told the waiter and had the worst reaction, not only that the food was not good, I regret not going to a small local restaurant rather than this chain restaurant........
Very nice lunch.
We were seated promptly. The service was slower than usual. The food didn't seem as tasty as before. Maybe just an off day. We've been here before and it was much better.
Enjoyed a nice casual Saturday evening date dinner. Food was very good. Appreciated the Gluten Free items. Service was very good and friendly. Would go back again when in the area.
Our once a week stop. Staff is friendly and helpful. They wNt you to have a good time.
Four adults and two toddlers plus an infant: TGI Friday's is a perfect place to meet. Our patient waitress was kind, pleasant and very attentive. And the cobb salad was delicious.
Arrived early seating promptly. Our server had a large party before us and was delayed to wait on us. Once he arrived at our table we were ready to order. We had the sampler and burger. Both dishes were good. He was a quiet pleasant server.
Change in management shows great improvement in service. the manager made an effort to get our food out in a timely manner and checked to see that everything was to our liking.
It seems that the endless apps deal is not so much a deal because it takes forever to get your food which comes out cool to warmish. Our meals were delivered to the wrong table. To look around the restaurant you'd think that it was packed but it was more than 1/2 empty. Never again
The service was decent. Our waiter had many jokes, trying to.keep.the experience light. The food was ok, though the new burgers lack pizzazz. Overall, it was a decent time.
did endless apps for lunch. what a great deal! now planning a happy hour there soon.
Service was just awful. Management and service staff did not really care
Jammed with children, noisy, tight, cold, and extremely noisy. I'll never go again.
My husband ordered hot tea and the water was lukewarm and tasted of coffee. The water came from the coffee machine which is why it tasted weird. We ordered quesadillas and pot stickers to share. Both dishes were lukewarm when they came to our table and tasted awful. The chicken was stringy and hardly tasted like chicken. The potstickers were more dough than filling. Neither were appetizing or tasty at all.
We arrived a little early and were seated promptly with a friendly smile. Waitress eventually came over to ask if we were waited on and we had not been. She was pleasant and took our order. We waited a while for the appetizer but even longer for the food. Waitress stopped by once to check on us and slow to get the check. Food was delicious and restaurant was nice but the server could have been much better.
