The food was amazing . The servers were overworked as it was Valentine's Day. We waited so long to order and even to be served our food order. It was honestly a put off but the taste and quality and quantity of food made up for the disappointment.
very nice servers. food was not spicy but overall 3/5
This is actually my second time here as we had an enjoyable visit the first time. Very nicely decorated inside, rather a pleasant surprise.
We ordered the pad thai on both visits, but this time we found the noodles to be rather thick and pasty and the beef was dry and tough, not succulent or tender. The first time we had it, the dish was piping hot and the noodles were perfectly sauced/coated. The massaman chicken curry was average. Both dishes were a good sized serving.
Service this time was less attentive despite it not being a full house. We had to request water refills even though one of us had an empty water glass sitting there for a while and we had already finished our wine.
We made reservations and upon entering the restaurant we were seated immediately. We ordered our appetizers of Samosas and satay skewers of tofu. Both were luke warm and the peanut sauce the accompanied the satay tofu was extremely sweet.
This should have been an indication for us; but, we thought we will try the main in the hopes that it will be better. It did fair better than the appetizers. However, the Malay vegetarian and Lamb curries were extremely sweet. My daughter ordered the Thai Red Curry and she only ate the chicken. The gravy was overwhelmingly sweet.
We enquired with the waitress about the sweetnesses of the curries and asked if sugar was added. She went to ask the kitchen staff and they said it was the coconut milk. This was certainly not the case. We have eaten both Thai and Malaysian cuisine before and not once was it sweet.
Our last mistake was ordering dessert. My daughter loves apple pie and placed an order. We thought surely the apple pie must be tasty, well we were very wrong. They microwaved the apple pie!!!!! We called the hostess over and spoke with her. She had no explanation as to why the apple pie was soggy.
This was a very disappointing dinner and we certify will not return or recommend to our family and friends.
Excellent and friendly service. Food was delicious!
Taste is good. Just the food base is sweet on soup, curry. Sour favorite not enough.
Birthday day cake on the house was unexpected great place to be in the quiet side.
We had a really good time. The food was delicious!!!
Food was good and so was the service. Will definitely be back to try other things.
