   When we first arrived, we were ignored by the server who was working the front room. After standing there waiting for over 5 minutes, he approached us and sat us in a room with mostly empty tables. I am not sure why he looked over at as several times but never attempted to greet or seat us. After that awkwardness, we had our usual great food and service that we expect from Thaiverse.

   Lovely location with private parking in Middleburg. The food was delicious and authentic and the service was attentive. The Brie rolls were heavenly and unique! Everything was fresh and flavored to perfection. Best Thai in the area!

   Overall great experience. The drinks were good with a Thai flair. The food was good quality and great presentation. The calamari was so tender and a delightfully light and crisp batter. Loved the duck pancake roll. Drunken noodles and the Ginger w protein added was really well prepared. They seemed to be scrambling a little. It took quite a while to get drinks and appetizers ordered. There was quite a pause before we could order dinner. I think it was just a Saturday dinner rush so everyone be patient. We will go back again

   We wanted to try this place for over a year and finally had the opportunity. The restaurant itself is quite nice, with a small intimate bar in the front room as you enter, and lots of little rooms for dining as it was once a house. Everything seemed great, but the problems started when we were seated. 15 minutes passed before anyone came by to bring waters or take drink orders. We ordered one cocktail and one non-alcoholic drink. 20 minutes later, I asked our server about my cocktail and he said it was on its way. After 35 minutes, I went up to the bar to get it myself in frustration, but nobody was there. I had to grab the closest employee I could to ask for my cocktail. There were no apologies or explanations, but it did come a few minutes later. Dinner itself was outstanding. The best Thai we’ve had in the area for sure, but the service experience might prevent us from ever coming back. After ordering our meals, we NEVER saw our server again. A different person brought our meals from the kitchen and nobody ever came by our table again to simply see if we needed anything. When it was time for our check, I had to go to the server station and request it. We were really disappointed by the experience but not by the food. We strongly recommend it, but ONLY for take out.

    This was a "get to know each other" business dinner and the quiet corner and swift service was perfect for our group. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. A great way to kick off our event at the Salamander Resort.

    I have loved this restaurant for years, but the recent price hikes are OUT OF SIGHT. Lunch for two nears $100. Ridiculous. I'm sorry to say they are losing me as a loyal customer.

    My significant other and I tried this place for the first time Sunday. I liked it. We sat outdoors given the weather was lovely but they had a bee problem. I would go again. Interesting as they are located directly across from another Thai restaurant.

    There were a lot of bees outside, so we asked to move inside. We were out in a room and kind of forgotten about. It wasn’t really an issue though, we kind of ended up with ALL the waiters at differing times when they all thought they were supposed to be with our table. The food was amazing though. So fresh!

    The apps were only ok but the entrees were all the best Thai food we all have had in northern Virginia. Service was a bit slow to get started but the food came out super fast. Will def be back!

    The pad Thai with tofu had no veges and no flavor. When asked for hot sauce they didn’t have any. The menu had a sticker with a price change. The food comes out very quick so I suspect they make a huge batch in beginning of night

    Great blue crab fried rice, duck rolls with Thai spices so yum and gorgeous restaurant in historic estate. Fun to see celebrities dining here. In heart of Middleburg quaint village with plenty of free parking. Can't wait for their new restaurant opening soon in DC at 20th & Connecticut.

    This was our first visit to Thaiverse in Middleburg, VA, and it was wonderful. We had lunch on a Monday when the town was very quiet, and so it was here. The service was perfect: attentive and personable. The food was delicious. The martini pours were very good too. We had the spring rolls as an appetizer. They were average; the "mixed salad" components dominated the mango and shrimp. The dipping sauce though was very tasty. For entrees, we had the Tamarind Duck, which was outstanding! It had a crispy, crusty exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. (There is no way on a future visit we would not order this again. Fantastic.) We also shared the Pad Char stir-fry with pork, mixed vegetables and a savory sauce. This dish also was excellent. The rice was perfectly sticky. Overall, this was the best Thai food we've had in a while. We wouldn't hesitate to return on a future visit to downtown Middleburg.

    This was our third year going with the same friends. We all noted that the food quality and service this year was nothing even close to the first time we went - where the owners themselves served us and gave us detailed explanations of their background and the menu choices. This time it felt impersonal. Also, the spring rolls were served to us frozen on the inside.

    Possibly the best mango and sticky rice we have ever eaten. Duck with tamarind sauce was exceptional. Fried rice very good with lots of chicken thtu out. Service was very good. And quick as we received our food within 8-10 minutes of placing our order

    Showed up for our reservation and requested to sit outside since it was a nice night. Restaurant was empty except for a few tables. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and still didn't receive them. Ended up leaving and went to a much better place down the street. Won't be back.

    The service was incredible. I came here with 10+ friends for dinner before prom, and even though there was a lot of sorting out how to fit enough chairs at our table or who ordered what, our waiters were unbelievably patient and friendly. 100000/10 recommend.
