Aloha and welcome to The Banana Deck, home of St John's only Hand-cut Ribeye's. Our specialty is great food and service with an atmosphere to match. Sit in our open air dining room or our newly remodeled bar and enjoy the incredible views of the crystal clear water of Cruz Bay. Come on up and enjoy one of our specialty Island cocktails or a local brew. We offer Happy Hour daily between 4:30 and 6:30 at the bar. Definitely don't miss our famous Bottomless Pour Your Own Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar, where you can create your own specialty Bloody Mary. Build it from the ground up with your choice of size, liquor, ingredients, toppings and seasonings. We have over 10 specialty hot sauces to choose from, as well as our house infused Spicy Vodka "a la Fluff". Every Saturday & Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm. Located downtown, we are a short walk from the ferry dock, across from the Beach Bar and Wharfside. Just a flight up, but a world away.

We are from Northern Va, so we were able to use Open Table to make reservations before we arrived. The food was GREAT as usual, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive to us. Plus the view was SPECTACTURAR.

The food was ok. A couple people in our party had steaks and they were good! If you want something that is great for kids this is a good choice. If you want creative cuisine, I wouldn't recommend. Service was great! Definitely a good value compared to other island restaurants.

One of the best meals we had the whole week. Very accommodating as we were 45 minutes late and our group was half the size it was supposed to be. Reasonably priced and very tasty.

Didn't have our reservation from OpenTable so it took 1 hr 45min to be seated. Service was poor and after the long wait for the food one meal was wrong (we ate anyway- we were starving). Food was good but overall not a pleasant experience.

One of our favorite places to eat in St. John. We eat here every time we are on the island. The drinks are awesome and the steaks are fantastic. Defines island casual with a great atmosphere and good service.

We have gone to Banana Deck every year when vacationing on St John. After going to many of the wonderful restaurants, we have decided this is one of the most expensive for what you get. The food is ok but for the price, would expect a better atmosphere and dining experience. I would recommend they re-evaluate the pricing given their setting...it's not a fine dining establishment but has the price point of one. Can have a better experience at Ocean Grill, Morgans's Mango or Longboard, spend less $$ and have better food. Sorry but that one is off the list.
