   Really great place to eat! So fun, food was really tasty, and although we were ignored for several minutes when we first arrived, and then after we were told our table was to be cleaned, and then the table sat uncleaned for another 10-15 minutes, the server that finally approached us to ask if we had been helped, turned out to be our server, cleaned table immediately and was really exceptional the entire visit.

   We are a party of 14. We ordered large Natchos which were very disappointing. $30 for a stack of little natchos , little cheese . Topped with little sour cream . Why would they be stacked , not impressed .

   Unfortunately, there was a lot of errors and mix ups none of which was our servers fault, she was very lovely. First, our reservation got moved to a different time, then (before we even ordered) we were told they needed our table for someone else (wasn’t even done bowling yet, but almost done) so we had to pick everything up and move to a very crowded and loud area. To be fair, I guess it was fight night, but maybe something like that should be told when a person calls. It was my 50th birthday party and I can honestly say, we did not really have a good time. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

   This experience was poor because they seated us at the front of the restaurant which felt like the waiting area, the lighting in the spot was weird and we were right by the entrance so it was cold. There were no other tables that could meet our size requirement elsewhere in the restaurant, even though I made the reservation a week in advance so overall poor experience for a large party size.

   We expressed on OpenTable, and at the restaurant that we were there for a birthday party. Thought they might even throw one piece of cake or something or saying happy birthday but nothing also the music was way too loud couldn’t carry on a conversation.

    Had a reservation and was seated literally next to the entrance. Was told all other tables reserved but they remained empty for the duration of our stay. Horrible location to enjoy a meal. Multiple items that we attempted to order were not available. Server was friendly and pleasant despite everything else.

    Food was a bit of a miss, ordered lettuce wraps and. It wasn’t anything to write home about. Also wine on tap was not good, I think something is wrong with the lines.

    We’ve been coming here since it opened in U/D but 4 out of 5 times we’ve been left scratching our heads out how unbelievably poor the service is. You could literally be wait up to an hour to order a second drink at times. We went for Valentine’s Day and order a drink with our meal which they didn’t have so we ordered another and after we payed we noticed it was still on the bill so I eventually got a hold of our waitress and she said she would refund it for us we literally had to get up from our seats and try find her because she was not coming back. Eventually we found her and she assured us she would refund automatically on the machine which had our card details however we still have not received the refund. I think that may have been our last Banquet trip it’s more hassle than it’s worth going there!

    Service was not great, very slow, we were never checked on after our food was brought and we’re left with empty drinks often, the nachos were pretty terrible, only chips and cheese with about 3 jalapeños, The drinks were amazing though, best sangria I’ve had - will definitely try again on a less busy night

    Our server was so sweet but the service was so slow & it took almost an hour to get our food. Long time for pub food! It wasn’t very busy so no excuses. We then went bowling which was fun but the lanes weren’t working correctly. Glad I had read the reviews so I was prepared for the slow service. Still had fun with my family & would go again

    Table was dirty, service was very slow, took 47 mins to order our food, appetizers and mains were received at the same time, 6 of us and had to ask for more cutlery, water was brought to table however a couple of us had to ask for alcohol for wasn’t offered, however the food was delicious so five stars for the chef and cooks!

    Horrible service. 15 minutes for a server to talk to us after seating. No cutlery brought out with food, had to wait another 10 minutes after food arrived to get cutlery. No glasses brought out with the able water. Another 10-15minutes waiting on glasses. Bowling was not started by our waitress until 15-20 minutes after our reservation start time. Bowling pins got stuck and after another 15 minutes waiting for service we climbed down the alley to fix it ourselves. Bill doesnt give pre tax subtotal to base tip off of. Tip option starts at 18% and includes the bowling alley fee in it which we feel should not be tipped baaed on. Food 10/10, atmosphere 8/10, service 0/10

    It was our first visit to The Banquet, and overall, we had a good time. When I called to book a bowling lane, the person answering the phone told me there was no bowling available for the day, and to try again tomorrow booking through OpenTable. After hanging up, we checked OpenTable and found no shortage of bowling times available for booking. We booked a time for an hour later, and made our way over. We ordered food and ate before our reservation, and then advised our server of our reservation for bowling. She activated a lane for us and we had a good time bowling for the next hour. The unfortunate parts of our experience were that the table that accompanied our lane was filthy with left over food remaining from the previous users, and the screen on our lane was malfunctioning, but otherwise everything else was as we expected. Good potential here for an impromptu family outing with the kids, but there could certainly be more attention paid to these oversights.

    We had a really nice family birthday here. The setting had a really good vibe, full of people enjoying themselves and we got a good view of the skaters on the rink just outside. This is our go-to pub. We always have the nachos, cheese all the way down which is great, but we ask for it without the hot sauce which is too hot for us but will be perfect for some other people.

    Very disappointed with the value of the food. Ordered the buttermilk chicken and got two small chicken strips, one small scoop of coleslaw and fries for $18.99. Not worth it.

    Understaffed. Waited an hour for food and waited 30 min for bill which never came. Waitress could have told us she was alone and we would have been understanding. Please get high chairs. Food was ok. Disliked most of the appetizers but meals were better. Don’t think I’ll be back

    Fun place for all ages. Mini bowling, ping pong. Close to the beautiful skating rink in the University District. Our service last time wasn’t the greatest, but we will definitely be back!

    Totally empty for brunch at 11am on Saturday. We were a group of 10 celebrating a birthday and had the place to ourselves for the first hour. Had the mimosa tower which was a cool novelty for the occasion. The food was good and our server was lovely. The World Cup game started while we were there and the place filled up. TV screens at every viewing angle, it's a great venue to take in a game too.

    Ok experience. Not fretted at the door when we entered. We had a reservation but no one asked about it. Server was friendly once she got to us. Smoked brisket sliders good but over way over priced for what they are. Pork Belly bites were good, a little spicy, which wouldn't be too bad but the creamy coleslaw was spicy too. Bowling was fun! Spinning the wheel was fun. Not sure we'd go back.

    Birthday. It was loud with the wheel spinning all the time. Although we made a reservation, no one asked and we had to sit ourselves. The only tables available were the high tables. We made due, but if you are asking on your reservation system about where we wanted to sit, why isn’t anyone assisting when we arrive?

    4 lanes duck bowling is fun to play until the screen is off and can't be reset cause the next lane share the same system. Food is okay, stuff is friendly and good service.
