Great place to sit and chill. Some food is worth the price…others (ie the salads) are not…very skimpy and hard to eat (nit chopped). Wouldnt order their salads again. But I still love this place.

The service was terrible - very slow - we waited 25 minutes after ordering a bottle of wine for glasses - 35 minutes for the bottle. There were 3 couples on the patio on a Friday night at 8:30 pm. Very disappointing. This place used to be packed! The food was average - items missing off the menu. We were told the kitchen was using so there were less items available. We will not return.

Unfortunately the walk to the Beach Club is a bit much. I know there is a shuttle that is offered but we didn't know how to get it until we got to the restaurant. We are all in our 70s. We did get a shuttle back.

Decor is very lovely. Views fantastic. Our server was very attentive without being overpowering. Food was tasty but not outstanding. The beach restaurant is FAR away from public parking. There are white SUV’s driving around the development so you can flag them down & they’ll drive you to The Beach, return u to ur car. We were unaware of this & had an elderly woman so would’ve been nice to know this ahead of time.

Lovely setting and good service. Food was hit and miss... the Opa Toast was WAY too salty and my son had the Jamon Sandwich and the prosciutto and sopressata were extremely thick and chewy. He could not finish it. The rest of the food was tasty. The cocktails were very good. The in-house water was great. My 5 year old had a small bowl of buttered penne pasta only which cost $16. So...lots of good things but a few things that soured the experience slightly. Happy we tried the place but value-wise would not rush back. Probably best suited for an evening cocktail and small app.

The food is horrible and pretentious. A “salad” consists of a few uncut lettuce, a tomato cut into 4 and 3 pieces of watermelon, oh and 3-4 slices of reddish. Cod is dry (overcooked), octopus is chewy (also overcooked). Desserts and coffee was good. Servers are not familiar with the food they are serving. You ask them what is on the plate and they have no idea if it’s even fish or meat. For a place like that just WOW!

We’ve eaten at Friday Harbour restaurants many times over the years but thought we’d try the Beach Club for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It was a beautiful evening so we sat outside and watched the boats go by. Food was great - similar in style to our favourite FH restaurant Fishbone. Service was great and we enjoyed the meal. Will be back for sure.

The food was OK, certainly nothing to write home about. The service wasn't the greatest. Our server was almost nonexistent. She disappeared after we ordered our mains, and we literally did not see her come by our table for the rest of the night. We had to request for the bill from the bar after waiting for ages, and at that point we had been at the restaurant for almost 2 hours! I understand that they may have been tied up by another busy table, but we were left in the dark (literally) without as much as a heads up from her or another one of the staff. The views were nice though and we were sat on the patio facing the lake. Just be aware that if you are sitting outside, there WILL be a lot of flies buzzing around and unfortunately some mosquitoes as well. There were no candles on our table to deter the bugs.

The Seafood tower is way beyond the "market price" value. The dwelling is lovely but the food presentation was so upsetting... hair on food, no water in oysters, no ice with shrimp and flys all over the place which seriously demoted everything when you are eating. They diminished the issues but remedied it however by then we were totally put off. Very disappointing for a beautiful location.

Everything was wonderful except the steak. While a bit over done it was tender... but it looked like it had been microwaved. Shame. But I repeat ... everything else was very good.

Service was great but some dinner portions very small. Only two narrow slices of a skirt steak ( maybe 4 oz) and a pile of ordinary frozen French fries for $47 was outrageous for 2 of our orders. My daughter’s seafood pasta looked like a reasonable portion but my other daughter’s dinner salad with about 2 full leaves of 2 types of lettuce was almost comical. With tip and only 3 of the four of us having one drink and two shared appetizers was $285.So many more places you could eat twice for that price and probably tastier. Overall a mediocre experience.

I was happy to see some vegetarian options on the menu but the portions were tiny compared to the price they were charging. Also our baklava came completely burnt and we had to send it back. The server was not attentive to our table and we had to ask other servers for paper napkins, water refills etc. We asked for a salt shaker and the server brought us pepper instead, she left so fast after that we could not get her attention to tell her. Also, flies were everywhere, there are fly traps available in the market for the patio that the restaurant should invest in. Overall the Ambiance made up for a lovely experience.

Jambon sandwich was dry. Watermelon salad didn't look very appealing. Passionfruit drink was lackluster but wait staff remade it for us. Mennie was a great host. At $170 with tip, I could've eaten 2 prime rib dinners with a bottle wine elsewhere.
