I really hate to leave such a positive review in the risk that this place will get too busy, but it is worth the risk! We had such a lovely time, and the food was AMAZING!
Great food and service
Excellent meal. Music was a little loud making it hard to have a normal conversation. Would definitely recommend it.
Delicious food in a great location. Highly recommend.
It was a date night with my wife. Amazing food. We shared the shrimp spaghetti and wage meatballs. Awesome!
Food was great, good selection of beer, I enjoyed their beer and wine flights. Service was so so.
Brunch was amazing. I would order whatever the server recommends. I did and my husband didn’t and although they were both Amazing mine was definitely better.
Love the Japanese Ramen
The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. You must try the mushroom and bacon pate. I can eat it anytime. Halibut risotto is amazing too.
There is beer flights and wine flights.
Great server and yummy mimosa!
I had the breakfast wrap (large serving ) & my partner had bread pudding French toast which was decadent
Have been twice now the other time for lunch with the girls. I love the room and will definitely go back !
They try to keep the prices low and the quality and food portions have to be reduced. For example my Shrimp pasta had the ground shrimp in it. I wasn't the dishthat I expected. The drinks are highly recommended tough
Such a lovely evening, with excellent food and excellent, genuine service.
Loved The Belgard Kitchen! Kind of rustic industrial in style. Yummy food. This is a brewery that also offers wine tastings.
For lunch, I had the Railtown Wrap with roasted, marinated portobellos, avocado, sprouts, pickled onion, hummus, flatbread and Farmcrest chicken. VERY generous. A little hard to eat, but I managed! My husband had the Dragon Bowl with sweet sesame tofu, avocado, pickled onion, shaved carrot and beet, radish, pea shoots, spinach, brown rice, garlic and tahini dressing, and he added flank steak. Delicious! Not a morsel left.
We each had a glass of Howling Bluff Sauvignon Blanc, Penticton '17. Then we did a little wine tasting. My favorite was the Vancouver Urban Winery 'Reliance,' 2016 Rosé; grapes were Pinot Blanc and Muller Thurgau. Nice. Fruit-forward. Would have bought a bottle but we had many more days of travel.
Service was excellent. And the whole experience was very fun! Totally recommend.
Nice place. Not kid friendly. Food was ok. Pricey but we'll presented. ($20 a small portion)
Wasn't too busy.
If you want fresh beer and a couple appies on your way downtown it's worth stoping at. Don't go out of your way.
Second time at Belgard and loved the food as much as the first time. Couldn't resist getting another portion of their Beggars Bacon. Definitely coming back for a third time in the future!
Really liked the ambiance, but compared to other similar places the food was not amazing (but it was good). Too many pizza-like things, and spreads that go with bread. Even the meatballs came with bread.
Delicious sausages, pate and cheese on the sausage board; marvellous variety of tastes in the Railtown Wrap with chicken, highlighted by the flavour of arugula; friends greatly enjoyed the veggie burger and ramen bowl; a most satisfying celebration of a friend’s 70th.
I loved everything about this place, from the wines on tap, to the yummy food, to the atmosphere! I would totally recommend it.
I absolutely love the Belgard Kitchen. Great food and great atmosphere.
Great food great experience
the best brunch in vancouver! love the skillets with wagu meatballs and stout sausages. the coconut chia pudding is divine! did i mention the beautiful decor of the converted warehouse with the church like doors, high ceilings, and wood beams setting.
Very good selection of local beer and wine. Food is interesting and tasty. A good place to get together with friends.
Really enjoyed the Buddha bowls with Salmon! Atmosphere was great and I could have ordered anything on the menu.
Amazing service, amazing food. Would highly recommend to anyone.
A few of us got together here to catch up. We wanted somewhere with a good wine selection and good food and somewhere we could chat. The wine selection is definitely varied although a little high on cost. The food was tasty but given it’s tapas style it was disappointing that the only easy to share plates (ie not soup or a pork chop) were ones that were heavy in grease and all of them came with bread. It would have been nice to have some healthier options. The service was good to start - attentive, allowed for tasting wine before ordering - however once we stopped ordering our server brought us the bill immediately then never came back. No refills of water and we had to flag her down to get another glass. The music was also way too loud. Unfortunately not sure I would run back here anytime soon.
Great food, fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the house wine & reasonably priced
The food was amazing. Friendly sraff, Excellent drinks and very interesting ambiance. Will be back
The service is always amazing and the staff go above and beyond. The gnocchi is to die for, and the hummus, pizzettes, and tomato soup are all superb. The ambience is magnificent, although I wish the music in the evening was quieter.
Great food, warm atmosphere friendly staff and overall amazing experience!
Vancouver Urban Winery is my most favorite to take out friends who enjoy wine and nice ambience. The wine flights are the best thing with 5 different glasses of wine, and can complement any food you order. The food is not typical of bar or pub food, no deep fried fast food version. Each plate is delicately prepared and of a good variety, for example, we order the sausage artisan cheese board, duck confit risotto, flatbread, ink squid pasta with nuts and spice, and of course the famous apple and pear crumble as dessert. Prices are very reasonable, on average $10 - $20 per plate, and the portion is pretty good, too. Be prepared that you only get 2 hours for dining as this is a very popular and trendy place for even late diners. Enjoy and have fun with your friends there!
Really cool space with great food and ambiance. We had the green chickpea hummus and the sausage board. Both were fantastic, but keep in mind the portion sizes are smaller, and it’s a good idea to order a few dishes to share. Wine and beer flights were also good. The prices are pretty on par for Vancouver dining. My main concern before going was the area of town - it actually isn’t that bad, though what each person sees as a sketchy area can differ. For Vancouver standards, it’s a little questionable, but it’s not going to keep me away. Would definitely go again to try more of their menu.
Excellent food choices for brunch. Lovely setting. Good service. Will go again soon!
Our server was so good! Good recommendations and very friendly. And, the manager was so helpful fixing a mix up with our table!
We love this place! Family style service is awesome and they change up the menu frequently, so always new things to try. Nothing has ever disappointed, so far! The Sausage Board and Bacon Mushroom Pate are must-tries and the Meatballs are outstanding. Any of the veggie dishes are great .... we had the broccolini this time .... mwah!!
Belgard bacon was phenomenal
The Belgard Kitchen has an excellent BC wine list, something we've been searching for these past few years. There is a lot of variety, plenty to choose from (red, white, sparkling, rosé). The food was delicious, inspired and unique. Lots of options for many diet types. The service was good, the vibe was great. We'll be back!
Good food, but we had a table by the brewery and the draft was quite cold given the time of year.
We visited Vancouver for the holidays and found this restaurant by searching online for the best casual restaurants. Dinner at the Belgard Kitchen was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The atmosphere was excellent (located in a brewery while retaining a classy but casual atmosphere). Our dinner was one of the best meals we've ever had. Everything was prepared expertly. We hope to return.
Food was excellent but they ran out of chicken and dessert and our reservation was at 545....we’re they not expecting customers? I expect more from a restaurant of this quality, especially since we came for the chicken.
Always great! I’m always happy to introduce friends to the experience of spending a couple of hours at Belgard enjoying the food, 36 wines on tap and a great selection of Postmark beer
