Service, atmosphere, and food is always top notch here
This was our third visit & as good as ever. Thanksgiving menu is great value & has exactly what you're looking for!
Brunch is quite outstanding, food is fast delicious and comforting, service is excellent. Love the fact that they take reservation which is not the case for many other brunch places!
Drinks wise, they are alright, they do make some beer and wine but I wouldn't say the selection is outstanding, but pretty good value for what they are, at least there is something for everyone.
Would go back again and again!
The food at Belgrade is excellent and the ambience is great. The wine list is very disappointing and they have no spirits. Basically it is their beer or bad wine.
Great wine. Food designed to share easily. Wine flights and sharing food makes for a great night.
It is a great venue with great wine and sharing plates!
I have been here a few times and every time is just as good - the food is so tasty!! Although, The service this round was a little under par.
A great neighbourhood spot, friendly staff, super cosy room.
amazing food, the ambiance was just perfect for a date night.
I was quite disappointed having brunch at the Belgard this past saturday. The smashed avocado on toast was really quite thinly spread with avocado and the toast was so hard that one literally could not cut the crust with the knife. My friends toast was quite badly burnt. I also felt it was not great value for the avocado toast and small amount of gravlax. Most cafes, especially for breakfast, make sure the server comes by to refill coffee, we had to ask our server to do this. The tables are so close together along the banquette that one has to listen in on all converstaions around without wanting to. However, the decor was quite beautiful. I wasn't too impressed.
The food was delicious and a lot of the dishes are very unique. However it is a little pricey for the portions served and there aren’t very many choices for happy hour. But I loved the energetic and cool vibe (a little loud - it took a lot of effort to have a conversation and we were almost yelling at each other to hear properly) and I’d definitely come back for drinks or brunch with friends.
Second time and still loving it all!
The atmosphere great for pre concert dinner and drinks. And happy hour to boot! Food excellent.
The venue was lovely, the server was lovely, the drinks were great, and then the food came, and it was tiny, 4 bites, like an appetizer, for $20. We all left hungry, unfortunately. I will go back for drinks, and the atmosphere, but not to eat .
Dinner out with girlfriends. Good value at happy hour.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver! Love the beer and wine and the food is always great! Consistency is on point. The hostess is always wonderful-very friendly and makes conversation! I’ve had a few waitresses that can be short and dismissive towards my table but not every time. The ambience is always enjoyable and we’ll keep coming back!
Great food, great service, great ambience, very hip, yet modern looking! Try their Tart Saison beer if you are into sour beer!
Great restaurant with an amazing interior and a great selection of beers.
I really hate to leave such a positive review in the risk that this place will get too busy, but it is worth the risk! We had such a lovely time, and the food was AMAZING!
Great food and service
Excellent meal. Music was a little loud making it hard to have a normal conversation. Would definitely recommend it.
Delicious food in a great location. Highly recommend.
It was a date night with my wife. Amazing food. We shared the shrimp spaghetti and wage meatballs. Awesome!
Food was great, good selection of beer, I enjoyed their beer and wine flights. Service was so so.
Brunch was amazing. I would order whatever the server recommends. I did and my husband didn’t and although they were both Amazing mine was definitely better.
Love the Japanese Ramen
The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. You must try the mushroom and bacon pate. I can eat it anytime. Halibut risotto is amazing too.
There is beer flights and wine flights.
Great server and yummy mimosa!
I had the breakfast wrap (large serving ) & my partner had bread pudding French toast which was decadent
Have been twice now the other time for lunch with the girls. I love the room and will definitely go back !
They try to keep the prices low and the quality and food portions have to be reduced. For example my Shrimp pasta had the ground shrimp in it. I wasn't the dishthat I expected. The drinks are highly recommended tough
Such a lovely evening, with excellent food and excellent, genuine service.
Loved The Belgard Kitchen! Kind of rustic industrial in style. Yummy food. This is a brewery that also offers wine tastings.
For lunch, I had the Railtown Wrap with roasted, marinated portobellos, avocado, sprouts, pickled onion, hummus, flatbread and Farmcrest chicken. VERY generous. A little hard to eat, but I managed! My husband had the Dragon Bowl with sweet sesame tofu, avocado, pickled onion, shaved carrot and beet, radish, pea shoots, spinach, brown rice, garlic and tahini dressing, and he added flank steak. Delicious! Not a morsel left.
We each had a glass of Howling Bluff Sauvignon Blanc, Penticton '17. Then we did a little wine tasting. My favorite was the Vancouver Urban Winery 'Reliance,' 2016 Rosé; grapes were Pinot Blanc and Muller Thurgau. Nice. Fruit-forward. Would have bought a bottle but we had many more days of travel.
Service was excellent. And the whole experience was very fun! Totally recommend.
Nice place. Not kid friendly. Food was ok. Pricey but we'll presented. ($20 a small portion)
Wasn't too busy.
If you want fresh beer and a couple appies on your way downtown it's worth stoping at. Don't go out of your way.
Second time at Belgard and loved the food as much as the first time. Couldn't resist getting another portion of their Beggars Bacon. Definitely coming back for a third time in the future!
Really liked the ambiance, but compared to other similar places the food was not amazing (but it was good). Too many pizza-like things, and spreads that go with bread. Even the meatballs came with bread.
Delicious sausages, pate and cheese on the sausage board; marvellous variety of tastes in the Railtown Wrap with chicken, highlighted by the flavour of arugula; friends greatly enjoyed the veggie burger and ramen bowl; a most satisfying celebration of a friend’s 70th.
I loved everything about this place, from the wines on tap, to the yummy food, to the atmosphere! I would totally recommend it.
I absolutely love the Belgard Kitchen. Great food and great atmosphere.
Great food great experience
the best brunch in vancouver! love the skillets with wagu meatballs and stout sausages. the coconut chia pudding is divine! did i mention the beautiful decor of the converted warehouse with the church like doors, high ceilings, and wood beams setting.
Very good selection of local beer and wine. Food is interesting and tasty. A good place to get together with friends.
Really enjoyed the Buddha bowls with Salmon! Atmosphere was great and I could have ordered anything on the menu.
