A really great vibe in a developing part of town. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert was exceptionally good. The gnocchi and lasagne were awesome. We'll be regulars now!
Food is great! Neat space in a cool location. Great server.
Great atmosphere for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. The food is always good, caters to all diets, and the wine is free flowing! Try a few and have a flight.
Also our server this time, Marie, was lovely!
It’s one of our favourite spots in Vancouver to eat :)
Always very good and often an excellent dining experience. Thank you
Food was amazing but service was poor. Had to wave down our waiter a few times throughout our visit.
Love the wine flights. The menu has
Options to suit everyone’s tastes, everything was absolutely delicious
Incredible food and service that will have us planning on a return soon
Atmosphere, service, wines, beers, everything we've had was great!
They were pretty rude
Loved it! Will be back again
100% recommend this place for a super brunch with plenty of ambiance and great service! The Dungeness Crab Croque Madame is not to be missed! Generous portion and absolutely delicious!
Great service and delicious food inside a beautiful space. Our server was attentive and informative about the menu and was took time with each of our courses. We didn't feel rushed throughout the evening and we were able to enjoy each tasty bite ( our favorite was the duck pizza).
Can't wait to go back!
Food was ok, the building is beautiful, the music really didn’t suit the venue and was super distracting, and the waiter was gone for super long periods of time as well as forgot a lot of items / just didn’t bring certain items so we’d either have to wait a long time to eat / drink (no sugar for coffee so that went cold, no salt or ketchup for potatoes so those didn’t get eaten) or we’d just go without. Perhaps they were short staffed that day. At the end of the meal the waiter came over (after yet another long absence) to let us know there was a long line and he wanted us to leave our table, that’s fair as there was a couple people waiting, however if you want people out quickly you should say that when they make the reso and also not have wait staff that moves at a glacial / non existent pace. Not a terrible experience, as I said the food was ok enough, but certainly coulda been a lot better.
So enjoyed our first visit to the Belgard Kitchen. We were looking for some place close to the Firehall Arts Centre. The food was delicious and our waitress was fabulous. Have already recommended and I will definitely be back.
Disappointed! The first time I came here I loved it, this time, not so much! Our waitress didn’t take our drink order for about 15 minutes, and then my white wine was warm. Our food was also like warm. We felt unattended to.
We dined here twice last week. Once was a group of eight. Second as a couple. All tapas, beers and wine were good. Liked the decor. It is basically a younger demographic 20s-30s but our group of sixties seventies felt at home. Enjoyed both evenings. Warm kale salad, tomato fondue toasties, pork lamb ragou roasted cauliflower all good
Awesome ambience! Beautiful restaurant. The merch in the brewery is a little bit of a turn off but it's easy to not see it with the amount of beauty in the building. Food is good.
I have always enjoyed Belgard Kitchen for dinner. This is the first time I went for brunch and it was fabulous. Great value, great ambience, great service and excellent food!
Fantastic selection of flights and charcuterie boards. The atmosphere is outstanding and unique to say the least offering 10/10 customer service. One of Vancouvers true hidden gems. If you weren’t looking for this place, you would never know it was there. Great spot for an evening of drinks and food with family or friends. Highly recommended!
Loved the food and venue. Service was quite good but server could have been a little more passionate about the food. A little too noisy, maybe turn down the music just a smidge so can hear friends at table. Overall, fantastic experience and I will recommend to everyone for sure. Thanks!
Ordered 4 dishes. The plum caprese, duck pizzette, waygu meatballs & wild boar lasagne.
Caprese was excellent. Duck pizzette was good. Meatballs were not great. Lasagne was freezing cold in the middle.
Service was very good.
Love the restaurant and ambiance but the music could be a little softer.
Very cool and energetic ambience. The food was delicious with lots of great options. The service was very friendly but quite slow and we needed to ask several times for refills on water and waited a long time on our bar orders. Would definitely return though!
Great restaurant in not so great neighbourhood
Great share plates and wine list! Bring back the Flank Steak!
One of the best-kept secrets of Vancouver. I go here religiously for brunch almost weekly. By far the best food, atmosphere, and drinks a place can offer. their French Toast is delicious.
The Belgard team were awesome! .... & dinner and drinks well worth the travel East.
Fun atmosphere, fabulous food to share and the service was on point.
Food was mediocre. Not a lot of vegetarian options. Wasn’t able to use our $65 Open Table Dining Cheque. Unfortunate that the meal wasn’t that great as we have come here a few times and wanted to give this place another chance.
This is a place I always recommend, and take friends who haven’t been.
The food wasn't amazing and some came out cold. The service wasn't amazing but for the price it's fine. The wine selection and quality is really what made it worth it! The wine flights were amazing and loved all of them.
So good. One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Food and service was top notch! Ordered 4 plates, first was excellent and every plate following was equal or better than the first!
The roasted cauliflower was my favourite. We shared the bacon cheddar pizzetta, flank steak, and yam gnocchi with lamb ragu all were very good.Garlic snipes were little strong for our tastes.6house beers to choose from and wine flights. great evening had by all.
What a lovely brunch to start the day. The staffs, the food, the ambience. Just perfect.
Loved it! Waitress was delightful, food was sooo delicious and noise level was definitely to a minimum. 10/10 would recommend. We tried the duck flatbread pizza, the seafood risotto, and the lamb gnocchi. All were great.
Son’s highschool graduation
A great place for share plates and drinks. I highly recommend the beet hummus and grill cauliflower. The wine tasting flights are fun too. Great and quick service.
Have been 3 times, love everything! The food, drinks and atmosphere!
This restaurant is in a renovated industrial-type building which still has a huge grappling hook hanging from rafters. The tapas-style menu works very well, the beer and wine selection are, while not extensive, good enough. The food was imaginative and everything was equally good. Highly recommended -- easily walkable from the Vancouver Convention Center.
