    Tucked behind frosted glass doors, and accommodating parties up to 10 beneath an impressive chandelier, our Owner’s Table offers the private dining feel your group has been looking for. Traditionally we have not guaranteed seating, but now through OpenTable Experiences, we are able to set aside a few of our best tables each night. The $5/pp fee reserves seating at one of these tables. There is a 20% service charge included, which allows us to pay a professional wage to our service teams. No additional gratuity is necessary.     Service was not at its ususal level, had to ask for fresh ground pepper, the waiter then returned with a grinder and set it on the table and walked away and was not very attentive.

    Overall great experience. The seared salmon was delicious! The brussel sprouts could have been cooked a little longer though. Great service overall and the french press coffee was super delicious

    The food was amazing. Restaurant looked a little dated, but still a very nice restaurant. The restaurant was not very busy when we were there, but the service was not very good. We were never asked if we wanted additional drinks until the end the the water was never replenished waitress was very quick to bring the check before we had even finished.

    The Thanksgiving buffet quality was awesome except that dessert could be nicer especially for such a pricy buffet. The service was about average, however, it came with an outrageous 20% service charge!

    We attended on Thanksgiving and ate the buffet. Food was excellent. Traditional Thanksgiving meal with a few southern favorites. Server (Callie) was friendly and attentive. The rest of the staff was friendly as well. Really good desserts. We were happy we made reservations in advance.

    We celebrated my mother’s birthday here recently. The private room and our servers were amazing. The birthday card was also the cutest touch. The food portion sizes were large, but as far as taste, nothing stood out too much.

    The food was okay, but it was less expensive than I thought it would be. I was more paying for the ambience than the food, and I’m okay with that. It made for a great semi-fancy, semi-casual date night. I’d recommend this place for first dates. It created a very lowkey romantic vibe.

    Our food came out lukewarm and overpriced. We ordered the spinach dip and oysters on the half shell. The dip was good but would’ve been great if it was served hot. They no longer offer you bread so we’ve requested bread and it actually came out at room temperature when supposedly we had to wait for it to be baked. Filet and lobster tail was good, however the broiled seafood platter was again, lukewarm at best.

    Didn't like the automatic 20% service charge on all tickets. Then when presented with the check electronically it requested a tip with various options, including 0%. I don't think the required service fee plus tip are proper. One or the other. Meal prices should be adjusted to accommodate the services.

    Went for Restaurant Week. We'd never been there, so thought it would be a good opportunity to check it out. 1) We had to ask for restaurant week menu after seated. It was not offered. 2) My husband's appetizer came out 15 minutes or so after ordering. Mine never came. I asked for it and it came in 10-15 minutes. My husband was done with his already. It was a salad, BTW, so really no excuse. 3) Shrimp and Crabcake entrees eventually arrived. Came with fries and we were asked if we wanted ketchup. We then realized that there was no sauce for the shrimp and crabcake, so we asked for tatar and cocktail sauce. All of these should have arrived with entrees. 4) Dessert arrived 15 minutes after the waitperson said it would be right out. 5) Waitperson never asked if we wanted a second beer or wine 6) 20% tip was automatically added to bill. While we usually tip at least that, if not more, in this case, waitperson is lucky to have gotten that much. We won't be back.

    Absolutely delicious. The Boathouse Wedge Salad was the best I’ve ever had. The Jumbo Shrimp cocktail was phenomenal, fresh cocktail on a bed of arugula was outstanding. My partner got the Dynamite Shrimp Tacos and the fresh lime really made the flavors burst in your mouth. I got the Crab Cake Sandwich with house made crispy old bay chips - freshly made, hot and exactly what I was looking for. We shared the Truffle Parmesan French fries and now have a new adoration for truffle! We finished by splitting the Crème Brûlée. A perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Our server was absolutely fantastic and the entire serving staff ensured our complete and total satisfaction with every aspect of our meal. To top it all off, the gratuity was included in the total making payment easy. We WILL be back. Thank you for an incredible experience.

    Nice menu, food was good. Our waitress was excellent. We arrived on the late side so they were sweeping the restaurant as we finished up. Kind of wished we'd gone earlier, or that they had waited to start that.

    We normally have dinner at the Boathouse in Rockets Landing, but decided to try the one in Short Pump. Although Rockets Landing scenery is more beautiful/romantic, I prefer the food at the Short Pump location.

    Our server was excellent. We enjoyed our food. It was served in a timely manner and came out as expected with appetizers served an appropriate time before the main course. The pumpkin spice White Russian was wonderful. All food was delicious and cooked perfectly.

    There’s a reason they have a mandatory 20% gratuity included, I wouldn’t have given any tip given a choice. Party of 6, food came out in three different batches, last one being a piping hot fried chicken tenders for a 6 year old that was too hot to eat for 10 minutes. Requests for second glasses of wine, taken by the manager herself, never showed up, our waiter finally came back to ask how our food was, hadn’t seen him since he took our orders. Finally the bartender herself showed up with wine. A service disaster.

    The food was really great! Everything was wonderful--there was a large group of women behind us celebrating a birthday...a few of them were so loud that we couldn't talk at our table. That's not the fault of the restaurant--just the extremely and unnecessary loudness of the group.
