Here at The Boathouse we are proud to offer a warm Scottish welcome. Our hearty menu is inspired by the fantastic range of options Scotland has to offer. We have a passion for using seasonal, local produce and are here to ensure our guests have the very best dining experience.

We are delighted to serve up an array of home cooked Scottish favourites including freshly landed fish and chips, The Boathouse steak pie, haggis, neeps and tatties and many other classics.

Our bar area offers a warm and cosy welcome whether your tipple is a beer, wine, cocktail, gin or dram.

And don’t forget we have the most fabulous outdoor seating overlooking the stunning Loch, the perfect spot on a sunny day. We also have a small number of outdoor covered bothies available.

    Really nice and relaxed environment. Service was attentive and quick. Food was really nice. Still disappointed didn't have room for the Nutella cheesecake!

    Really lovely restaurant. Good selection on the menu and our party of 10 all found something they liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Kids colouring page and pens was a nice surprise for the youngest member of the group. Nice atmosphere and stunning views over Loch Tay. Looking forward to our next visit!

    Highly recommend this venue. Food was good, and the service from our Polish server was exemplary. She really made sure our experience with our kids was second to none.

    We had the best night for my partners 30th birthday the lady who served us did an amazing job and was so kind and lovely considering how busy she was! She also brought out a wee happy birthday dessert for my partner which he loved couldn’t thank you enough! Will be back for sure! The food was also so lovely!

    Lovely evening meal had at the Boathouse. Starters were smoked salmon, fresh and tasty, and the haggis stack which was great. Mains were steak, cooked perfectly and the chicken Balmoral which was delicious. Dog also had chicken, rice and peas... He left the peas but he's a bit fussy! Also had a snack at lunchtime there, lentil soup and the mushrooms on sour dough. Fantastic also!

    We booked to go at lunch as they had a set menu which was reasonably priced. We arrived for our meal and were seated straight away. Unfortunately, we could hear one of the staff cursing quite loudly. When we went to order, we were informed that the lunch menu was not available but we could still order food. The menu was very similar to the menu we couldn’t order from. We were told that due to the fryer not working and park regulations, this was the reason for the change in menu???? We ordered our food and when it arrived, the oven chips were very greasy. Not sure how this could happen. I found a bone in my burger and reported it. The waiter said ok, I’ll let the chef know. He came back and took our dessert order but said nothing about the bone. We paid the full price and left. A very poor experience.

    Value for money wasn’t the best, kids pizza and chips was lovely and desserts were fab but main meals for the cost were a let down. Choice was also very poor.

    Absolutely top notch service, really lovely people. Such a pleasure to eat there. The food was delicious and plentiful with good vegetarian options. A buzzing atmosphere as well. Highly recommended.

    We. Went for Sunday lunch, beef dinner, was attended to quickly, we had a table overlooking the loch with lovely scenic views, our drinks brought promptly, with water for the table, Sunday dinner was plentiful and hot, very enjoyable experience overall, would deffinately recommend

    We were seated in a little sunroom which only had 3 tables and the most delightful view over loch tay. The food was served quickly and was piping hot and delishish

    Can honestly say, first if all the ambience: Sitting in an open restaurant overlooking Loch Tay Marina, there's few more picturesque places to have an eatery. It is stunning. The service, all I can say, is exceptional. The timings were quick and all requests were catered for meticulously. The food. I can only speak from a personal point of view: I had the vegetarian Lasagne and without exception, it was the finest I had ever tasted. My youngsters equally finished their meals which always provides a commentary on how good the food is. Finally, it was my eldest 13th Birthday. We requested a cake we bought was brought out and this was done perfectly as a surprise and they made such a fuss of her. Truly it made for the perfect end to the day for my Daughter. All I can say is thankyou. It was as good an evening as we could have wished and all thanks to the amazing attention to detail the staff at the Boathouse showed. All in all a 5 star review. Perfect.

    The staff were all very attentive and friendly and our dog was also made welcome and given treats. Food was really tasty and served lovely and hot. Had a really enjoyable meal and experience in a beautiful setting as always.

    Quite a find! It was a little alarming driving down the narrow, winding road towards the loch, but so worth it! Lovely staff, excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommended.

    We were pleasantly surprised at the whole experience. The restaurant is in a holiday park, but is away from the main camping area and right by the shores of Loch Tay, so the setting in the evening was lovely. Food was high quality and reasonably priced. The service was excellent- fast, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

    Best fish and chips the hubby has ever had. The dog menu was a great touch and our lab loved his dinner. Staff were friendly. Drink was strong and food was lovely. Great wee spot with amazing views of the loch
