The bibb salad (think it was romaine not bib) with chicken was too heavy with dressing and very lean on the toppings that went with the salad. Way more lettuce, including lettuce butt ends too, than anything else. For the price not what I expected and will not hurry back.

I just expected Foid to be a lot better. Loved the feel and our Waitress was phenomenal! Maybe we just picked wrong dishes? Not a lot of flavor. There were not many people eating in this place but as we were leaving it appeared many neighboring establishments were hopping. Wish we had made another choice.

Great place to go - local and didn't have to wait long for a table. Had the special and it was OK - not awesome like normal - but just OK. After having a bunch of great meals there - they can have and OK one and it not make us stay away. Still a great place!

Date night here on a Sunday evening. We got a booth in the corner so we had privacy to talk. Our server made a good recommendation on the appetizer and it promptly arrived. Our main course came at just the right time and was piping hot so we knew it was fresh. Portions were HUGE so be ready to take some home. We didn’t have room for desser but we got the carrot cake to go.

I have dined at the Brass Onion before and it was excellent. I chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration because the food was outstanding, the service was superb - I really appreciated not feeling rushed, and the ambience was perfect for a gathering of friends. However, this time the food was highly disappointing. I had a salad and added salmon. The salad was comprised of baby greens I could purchase at any grocer and the salmon was overcooked and oversalted. But because my previous experience was so positive I will be curious to try this restaurant again

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating! Brunch was great! The salmon Benedict was absolutely delicious. And so were all their sweet treats —loved the carrot cake! Highly recommend

The server or kitchen mixed our order with another table. We had to wait while they remade our food. If it was not for this one item I would have left 5 stars. However, and this is significant. They only charged us for half our bill. Both server and manager came by to apologize.

The server was horrible. She sat our drinks on a tray a couple tables away while stood at the counter. Obviously dealing with a food problem but she could have served our drinks first. My daughter had a hair in her salad. The rest of us finished our food before she got her a new salad. The salad literally looked like whoever made it was mad & just threw it on the plate. It looked so bad my daughter didn’t want it! If I was a server I would never served it! My grandson got fruit & after he ate it all there was a hair in the bottom of the bowl. It totally gross him out. Maybe your cooks need to wear hairnets or pull their hair back. It was our first time there & our last! We wished we had went to Pinstripes like we usually do!

We've eaten at this restaurant many times. Always been good, but this experience was awful. Waiter was never around (we had to get our drinks from the bar because we were tired of waiting). Scallops tasted "off" and had to flag down another waiter to get assistance. Mgr made us a new meal (halibut special) which was very good, but didn't comp the entrée. They charged $2 for ice as I ordered my drink from the bar on the rocks.

A bit slower than expected -- took nearly 30-minutes to get drinks (other than that first glass of water) and an hour after arrival for us to get our food. Expected better; this is our 3rd or 4th time eating here. Server was doing his best, but clearly overwhelmed by the lack-of-staff; although quite-a-few open tables. Food was excellent! --- and that's why we keep coming back. . . Hope the staffing situation solves itself.

Food was good. Service and management were horrible. If you want to drink wine, do not go to this restaurant, nothing on their list was available and it took them forever to tell us that the bottles we wanted were not available. They then offered us a bottle that was 3x as much. By that time, we were done eating. Manager never came over. Service was slow and erratic. Took forever to get our cocktails. Plates not cleared from the table timely - appetizer plates still on our table when we got up to leave. Restaurant was very loud too so hard to visit with friends. A shame because the food was good but we will not be going back.
