We are an iconic destination housed on the banks of the Rideau River in a green space setting at
1 Donald St., where the Adawe Crossing spans the Rideau River. A walking, cycling path
meanders outside our doors, and we are an access point for the Rideau Winter Trail. Since 2017
Rideau Sports Centre and The Bridge Public House have been open to the public offering tennis
and a variety of sport activities on the location of the former Rideau Tennis Club, which operated
for over 100 years. At The Bridge we offer great tasting food cooked from scratch and warm,
friendly service.

This restaurant is a nice place with a great service. Since it is also a tennis court, the parking is often full. My tacos were very good. There is a nice terrace outside perfect in the summer. Since the restaurant is a large square the noise level was high when we were there. A last comment: I thought it was expensive: a small glass of wine 12$.

We were a group of six adults for lunch. I liked the variety of choice on the short menu. The server was polite, explained everything well, and kept us informed of the status of our order. The homemade dessert was spectacular - Pear and berry cobbler. The mains were all good. The ambience was excellent - bright, welcoming, and homey in spite of the popularity of the place. Highly recommended.

Patio between Riverain Park (Vanier side of Rideau River) and Rideau Sports Centre courts looks over nice garden. Food is yummy. The servers are inexperienced and slow, but friendly and accommodating.

Had a great time with coworkers for a farewell lunch, enjoyed the happy hour menu that was available, the nachos were different but delicious. Thank you to Patrick our server for putting up with us. 😀 Will definitely be returning.

Unfortunately the restaurant was understaffed so long wait times. The salad was over priced and was missing ingredients. I will return to give them another chance.

We are neighbours and are so glad we have this unique restaurant in "our own back yard" Your staff are friendly and helpful and dining on the porch with friends and family is our favourite summer fun!

The menu has changed since the last time I was there, and not for the better. My chicken was salty and there for were some chunks of "root vegetables". The menu said there would be olives and dates, but they weren't there. My friend had a good looking salad, so I would get that next time.
