    Turkey was a little dry. Would have preferred a slice rather then stuffed with stuffing and wrapped in ham. It was difficult to cut even with a sharp knife.

    Very good experience. Staff excellent. A bit noisy. Scallops and lamb excellent. Steak very good- mushrooms and tomato could have been better.

    Our first time at this restaurant and won't be the last. Excellent menu choice, lovely surroundings, attentive and professional staff. The food was of a high quality, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.

    Food was lovely and was value for money. We had to wait a while and had finished our ( hot) drinks before food arrived Have recomended Brooks to many friends because there is a lovely ambience and a good choice of meals especially brunch

    Thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday lunch. This was our second visit. The spicy parsnip soup was superb as was the lemon and lime possett. The brisket was lean and melted in the mouth. The meat was served with a Yorkshire, roast potatoes, roast parsnip and roast carrots. Gravy was piping hot and full of flavour. All in all it was a treat! Will be calling again, soon.

    We felt that the roast dinner was somewhat lacking. There wasn't that much lamb with the roast, and only a couple of potatoes. The Glamorgan sausages in the veggie roast were very small, and again only 1 carrot and 1 parsnip. Also, the broccoli and cauliflower cheese was very stodgy. The desserts were lovely. We also felt that the music was far too loud.

    Visit Brook Bistro regularly and never had a bad visit. Perfect place a lovely catch up with family or friends in a gorgeous setting, with delicious food, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, faultless.

    My colleagues and I ate here for a festive 3 course evening meal. Each course was superb, beautifully presented and very tasty. The venue was lively, great ambience to get us into the Christmas spirit. I look forward to revisiting with my husband and friends in the new year.

    As always, I cannot find fault with the Brook Bistro. The waiting staff were very efficient and the food was delicious. The Bistro was decorated beautifully for Christmas, giving the ambience a very festive feel. Thoroughly enjoyed.

    Fabulous food and staff friendly but not overly attentive which I like. Could do with a lobby entrance as front door is straight to the street and it was a bit cool and draughty when the door was opened. Other than that would recommend the Bistro to all my friends

    The food is very good at the Brook, but could have been hotter, that is my only complaint, and although it was quite noisy, that wasn’t a problem and everyone was enjoying themselves. The owners are very accommodating and nothing seems to be a problem, the staff are very friendly. I am going again next week, with a group of 16. Looking forward to it.

    Myself and my husband both had 3 course sunday lunch . Homemade parsnip soup was beautiful . Beef melted in the mouth all veg cooked as we like it . Desserts to die for ... all staff were very welcoming polite an efficient .. value for money and cant recommend this beautiful bistrol enough .. ..

    Such fantastic service. Greeted with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Kept our table even though we were running late. Decorated the table and gave us bucks fizz to celebrate best friend's 40th. Stunning brunch. 5 stars!

    Attractive dining areas, food well presented and of a very good standard at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. The serious downside was the noise level, even in early evening, which made it impossible to hold a conversation with any ease. Sadly, unlikely to return.

    Went for a birthday brunch yesterday, the numbers kept on increasing and the manager couldn’t do enough and accommodated us all! Food was fabulous, staff lovely a great birthday treat. Thank you. Looking forward to our group Christmas meal soon
