Friday prime rib is terrible. I’ve never had such a tough piece of prime rib in my 64 years. My husband got the 10 oz slow cook. It was definitely NOT slowed cooked. It was just as rubbery and hard to cut with the steak knife. Even the beans were rubbery. The women’s washroom doors don’t close. You have to hold them. We will never go back.

The service was extremely slow even though it was quite. Our server was just visiting other staff at the bar most of the time, it took so long to get our bill that our parking expired by 5min and we got a parking ticket that cost more then our meals.

My wife, a friend & myself had dinner at "The Buc" last Friday evening, and had a most enjoyable time. Everything about our visit was great, and we will certainly be returning, many times in the future. For icing on the cake (and my wife & I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert) we bought three $50 gift cards (for ourselves) which included 3 complimentary $10 coupons. |I would particularly like to give our thanks to Eden, our server. She was first class, all the way!!!

We came for the Friday prime rib dinner. It was delicious! The place is a throwback in time and is very charming if you like what a pub decor looks like in the past. It was fairly busy when we were there around 6 pm. Reservations is definitely recommended especially for weekends. There are daily specials. We will want to dine here again when in Steveston.

This is one of my favourite pubs in Richmond. Everything was excellent for Prime Rib night, however, it took 45 minutes for us to get our food.

Service was absolutely horrendous!!! Our server was useless. Other servers telling ours to come back to our table… which still took her at least another 15 minutes… it was not even busy. Ended up getting half our drinks ourselves from the bar. We are regulars, we don’t ask for much but regular checkins and a bit of dialogue with customers goes a long way. We have complained on a previous visit about the same server… Will cancel rezo or demand alternate service if we’re ever seated with the server again.

The Buck is our go to place. It is our neighbourhood pub - within walking distance which is great. Total relaxed atmosphere. You can sit and watch the game or have drinks with friends an no one is pushing you out the door. The staff is super friendly. Good food and drinks.

Went for a simple date night for a little staycation we were having at the Hotel after my husband finished a big exam. - Our waitress (Alicia I believe) was absolutely outstanding. So nice so understanding so accommodating. She was fantastic. From making sure we always had drinks, grabbing us coins for the pool table and just always being super pleasant. We don’t necessarily eat beef normally but when we do it’s ALWAYS a Buck burger because it is just the greatest. We were disappointed the Jamming Buddha’s weren’t playing that night but the DJ was pretty cool! The manager at brunch even let us now the next dates the bands are playing which was very considerate! We recommend this place to everyone.
