   Pricey, but worth every penny. Every item I had was amazing. My fiance would warn about the vegan chicken however, it isnt anything special. But everything else...magnificent. P.s. cant add pics due to opentable's size requirements.

   Incredible food! Totally lived up to the hype. The octopus was one of our favorite dishes, but we enjoyed the scallops, hanger steak, grilled oysters, Wagyu beef, sausages, fried green tomatoes and mac and cheese as well! The cocktails were delicious and expertly prepared. Our server, Mary, was super personable and attentive. Our thanks to Chad, the manager, for a memorable meal! We will definitely be back

    My experience was top notch from the service to the food, everything was cooked to perfection and our waiter very attentive. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family, also the bananas foster French toast was to die for.

    We enjoyed our visit ti The Butcher’s Tale. The Old Fashions were fabulous. We had the blood sausage for an appetizer. It is ver mild and served with lots of good stuff on it. We had the Duroc Pork Chop and the Scallops. Sodas included the red hot Brussels sprouts and Texas toast. The scallops were delicious. The waitress did a great job accommodating my need for dairy-free. The pear sorbet was also very good.

    From an easy, same-day OpenTable reservation, to a early entry before store open, everything ran so well. The booth in the bar was perfect for our 3+ year old who could see the people in all areas. Our bartender/servers were attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, patient with our son, and mixed amazing Banana Bread Old Fashions, and the Bottomless Mimosa was truly bottomless. The kids' pancake was amazing, and like tasty and huge. He ordered it with whip cream and chocolate chips, and it didn't disappoint. The Wagyu Butter Burger was fabulous, and may be a Top 10 Twin Cities burger soon, plus the Buffalo steak fries were perfection. And the parmesan cheesy hashbrowns are a must for brunch along with any sausage of the day. Such a great meal, cocktails and service.

    My boyfriend and I went to the butchers tale prior to his show last evening. From the minute we walked in the door. The experience was fantastic. The room was filled with the most delicious scent of cooking meat. The service was a five star as was the food and the bourbon and wine selection. I highly recommend.

    This restaurant was great! The smell was amazing the minute we walked in due to their specialty of smoking sausages, meats,etc. My steak was cook perfectly and melted in my mouth. The sides are a decent size to share. We had the whole hog Mac and cheese which was good and the cornbread which was amazing! Awesome craft cocktails and whiskey/bourbon flights. A little higher priced but not ridiculous and definitely worth it.

    First time here and this place is awesome!! Good whiskey, beer, and wine selection. House-made sausage incredible! I had the double cut pork chop with Maple sherry gastrique, blueberry compote, honey goat cheese 😋😋🤤🤤 Sat at the bar with some great bartender. Highly recommend for all around dinning experience.

    Oh, what a great experience. The staff was so very friendly and responsive, not to mention everything was delicious. Drinks made perfectly. Friendly environment, and despite being there on a holiday night, nobody was rushed. We look forward to going back again when we're in the Cities for an occasion again.

    I had a good time celebrating my mother birthday. Our waiter did an outstanding job with providing us details of the menu. She did not leave anything out. As my group was arriving she explained the special and recommendations again and again. She made sure everyone was aware of menu options and cater to everyone needs. The comments from what I heard about the food in my table was great except for the lobster tails. My sister in law and mother order the lobster tails but had a hard time removing the lobster meat from the shell. It’s like they were fighting to remove it. The size is pretty small also. I would think like any other high end restaurants they would remove the meat from the shell but in this case they did not. So DO NOT order the lobster tail. Other than that my overall experience was good.

    The ambiance is amazing, waiter was welcoming and friendly to a point we forgot she was taking care of us and thought her family. The food is as expensive as you’d expect but as my father in-law said about the 12day smoked and 8day smoked pork chop “the food was psychedelic”.

    We had a great experience. Our server explained the menu and specials well. Our food came quickly and it was outstanding. The fried green tomatoes and green goddess dressing are highly recommended. A plus is the casual atmosphere.

    We had a wonderful dinner on our vacation to Minneapolis at The Butcher’s Tale. The food is definitely a bit pricier, but is well worth the cost. Absolutely delicious!
