I don’t know if they are understaffed or not but it took 15 minutes to have someone come to our table to drop off menus and another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Food took 40 minutes to get out. Very underwhelmed.

Some food and drinks were way overpriced for what we got. First drink was made incorrectly and then we ordered beer and wine which we never did receive in the hour and half we were there. My two friends got their food and my sister and I did not get our food for approximately 30 mins after them. I was excited to try the ice house for the first time but it was bad service overall. Staff were friendly. The manager was helpful and understanding but service did not improve after our initial complaint. You would think the restaurant would’ve been ready and would have enough staff on hand knowing there was a concert that night. Drinks and food were being served to wrong tables (could’ve been a technical thing with the iPads). I might still give them a chance another time. Rooftop patio was cool. But yeah. Not a great experience.

We were very happy with our server, Taylor. She was excellent and was very good about my allergies and celiac issues. The only thing we were disappointed about was that it was just the patio menu as we were hoping for a nice steak!

The Facebook post promised free batting cages for students. This was a lie as the patio was closed. The website promised a fun summer menu. This was a lie as the server told me they weren't doing that anymore. Don't falsely advertise!

Some issues with our group reservation: a) Our table wasn't ready when we arrived b) Appetizers came out after we gotten our main dishes c) People in our group had to wait over 10 minutes for their main dishes after others in our party had gotten their main course d) Some of the guest were complaining about the food quality not being fresh

There were four of us! Great when we got there, but quickly went downhill. Two of us were finished our meals before the other two came out (after asking four times) they did comp the late meals. Food was so so and not great.

Servers had no idea where to deliver food, they would wander around aimlessly asking people if they ordered what they had in their hands. Service was incredibly slow & had to send wine glasses back because they were filthy & it too about 10 minutes to get new ones. Atmosphere is great, lots to do & the place gets hopping. I would only return if friends wanted to for the atmosphere.

The patio is unreal. My new favorite spot in the summer. Very family friendly. Food is wonderful. You must try the pizzas from The Banquet menu!!! Only issue that happens every time we are there: the music is awful. I can’t pinpoint it but everyone in my group comments every time. Or maybe don’t blast the music.

Waitress was rude, it was starting to rain so we asked to move inside and she got an attitude and went to another waitress and both looked at my partner and I and rolled their eyes as if she was annoyed. It was very unprofessional and ruined the entire atmosphere. I understand once a table is sat, it’s set but it was raining and we didn’t want to get wet. If she wanted to speak about us, she could’ve made it more discreet and not right in front of our eyes. As well, when we were ordering she seemed annoyed because we asked for an item that was out, we did not know and when we asked for more time she just walked away.

My friends and I have generally really enjoyed brewhouses, and have had great times there, but our experience last night makes us really question whether we’d come back, especially when there are many more choices now in the area. We felt somewhat forgotten as a table - we had four different servers during our 4 hours there which we only found out after they switched off, and it definitely seemed like that disrupted service, as it was difficult to order after our first server was gone, one of our party ordered food and drinks at the same time and received their drink almost 30 mins after their food came. When it came time to get the bills it took 45 minutes of waiting until we could pay, including have to split up the bill ourselves as it all came as one, and when the server returned with them there was another bill of almost an extra $100 of items we didn’t order that suddenly was included on our table apparently. We definitely understood that was getting busy by the time we left, but we still felt spending almost an hour waiting for a bill to be a bit beyond the normal even for a rush, and we did have somewhere to be that we tried to leave as much time possible to get there, but ultimately ended up arriving late because of that. While I’m sure our last server got the short end of the stick in all the strange pass offs between them, we just felt like an inconvenience to them and they didn’t have time for us, and unfortunately came off quite rude to some of our group. Honestly, just an apology for the disruption of service would have gone a long way, or even getting a manager over to finish the transaction would have made us feel more valued as guests.

the drinks were all kinda gross the peach Bellini was gross wasn’t even a slushy thank god the popsicle was in it to have food amazing so flipping good hour waiter was great but once it got busy it took forever to get our drinks one drink we waited 20minutes for i also believe the ipads the use kept messing up. then we wanted the ice room. nobody mentioned to us it was close and didn’t say that on website so was very disappointed to be turned down once we went back down to main level

This rooftop patio is one of the coolest I've been to in the city. The ambience is great, it gets the perfect amount of sunlight and shade, and it feels like it's a party in a friend's terrace. The food and drinks were great, I had the grilled lemongrass chicken bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The one thing that can be improved is the customer load management. Towards the end of the evening it was absolutely packed and, to no fault of the server, serving times were really long.

Hosted my birthday with a group of 13 ppl. Food and drinks were good. Service started OK and went downhill throughout the evening. Got told the patio kitchen was closed upon arrival due to a DJ party hosted during the day but reopened shortly after. Was given some appys to start things off but the server went AWOL for 40 mins and didn’t get any drinks topped up. And then provided our bills that weren’t correct. Ended up leaving to go to Home & Away.

We waited a helluva long time to receive our first drink - couldn’t even order a second one as the time ran out and we were there for an hour or so. Also, food finally began arriving for those at our table that ordered food (appies) and half the order was wrong; waitress had to go adjust receipts. I feel bad for the staff there that day - maybe they were short staffed? What a bad time to be. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

We had reservations for 16 that we booked weeks in advance for a family get together before a concert. We waited for over an hour for appetizers that arrived cold. Our drinks were not delivered and our waitress basically ghosted us. Turns out they prioritized a private function and redirected staff to it ignoring everyone else. We questioned a manager and his response was “I 100% agree we failed your party of 16”. Our poor waitress we as doing the best she could under the circumstances of ridiculously bad leadership. Most of our food and drinks did not arrive and we were not even offered to order an entree. With all of the options available around Rogers Place for food and drink do yourself and your party a favour and go elsewhere.

Made a reservation for myself and some friends who were visiting from out of town before the concert, we were sat inside with only one drink menu and one patio food menu (no QR code on table either) for 5 people. At least 3 servers walked by us to serve the tables around us, but no one even acknowledged our table at all. After about 15 minutes I had to go to the front to ask for service. The girl said “I’ll let your server know” which she did, and our server continued to keep walking by us and only paying attention to only one table with her head down in her iPad the entire time. We even waved her down at one point, only for her to wave back confused and ignore us again. No one came around for another 15 minutes so I went to the front again and asked if anyone would take our order as we were trying to make it in time for the concert, which is why we reserved early, and the two servers argued with each other that it wasn’t their section and one girl was finally told to just take it. We ordered drinks and food at 5:25, by 5:45 nothing had shown up and we watched other tables receive multiple rounds of drinks ordered after ours, so we decided to leave without any food or drinks. Almost an hour of sitting and couldn’t even get a hello or some water. No acknowledgement or anything from any staff, other than a sarcastic “our apologies” from a girl the second time I had to go ask for service. The best part was when one of the servers dropped another table’s food, there was broken glass next to our table for the last 15 mins we were there and no one came around to clean it up or tell the table that their food was being remade by the time we had left. Nothing like stepping over broken glass to get out of your table. I’ve never felt like more of an inconvenience at a restaurant before. I work as a server for a partnering restaurant and even with a 50% discount I would go literally anywhere else but here. 1 star is generous

Food was very bad ingredients of very low quality as well as the fact that it took forever to get to us and by the time it got to us it was so dry from sitting under the heat lamps that it was just nasty. Service slow and servers had no idea for the events happening nor promotions that are in place for the event, overall horrible experience wouldnt recommend nor come back.

The host (maybe manager) who welcomed us was very friendly and attentive. Once we got passed to a server at the bar, we again experienced lack of attention like on other visits to the Icehouse. We were the only 2 people at the bar. The music was blaring on a day they were promoting an F1 event, so no sound playing for the race. Enjoyed the new food options available with the Banquet collab. Given better circumstances we would have stayed around for more drinks and food.

Had a reservation, no hostess showed up at the from for 15 minutes. 20 other people had left due to the line and no assistance. Ordered drinks, one persons didn’t show up. Asked again, and again. 45 minutes later waitress came over and asked what the drinks were we we missing. Had to ask for cutlery, waitress literally brought one fork over for 6 people and no napkins then left again. Excuse kept being the kitchen and bar was busy, the place was half empty so I would hate to see this on a Game day. Wouldn’t go back.

They looked very understaffed but half of the servers were standing around not helping tables anyways. I heard a lot of guests complain about service. Both tables beside us complained. I made a reservation and wasn’t helped until 15 minutes after. Even then they didn’t have a table for us and sat us at a table that had food all over it and spilled drinks… usually you would clean the table before seating. Our server didn’t great us until almost an hour after we sat… most of the time we were just waiting to be help. Overall hire more servers.

I don’t want to blame the server, because she was covering the patio area that got real full real quick, but it took a while to get a menu, took a while to get our drinks. The server didn’t seem familiar with the menu, where we had to point to the menu to them for a couple of items. Maybe they were new, I don’t know, but that wasn’t ideal. Asked for separate bills, came out as a single bill. Just not a lot of attention to detail

went there the other night, worst service i’ve had ever. forgot one of our plates. didn’t give us napkins or anything. didn’t get served for almost half an hour. i always have patience as all my friends are servers and i am also understanding of how it can be, but it wasn’t that busy.
