I am going to share an incredible story of over-the-top customer service. Our ladies group met to celebrate an anniversary and I picked a restaurant the caliber of The Capital Grille. The meals weren't perfectly acceptable to half of our party and feedback for improvement was shared with our lovely waitress Sophia. She, in turn, hailed the manager Patru over to address the table and apologize for the less than exceptional meals. The concession was over-the-top, one woman departed with a salad to go and we promised to return for future outings in the restaurant. I must say, in all my travels and dining out I have never experienced the level of accommodation made by this manager. Capital Grille should be very proud of their employees and obvious mission to satisfy customers 100%. We will definitely be returning in short order!

I took my daughter out for a girls night out and I feel like we were very neglected. A whole 30 min went by before we saw a waiter. (We were supposed to have to people waiting on us) Our steaks came out first (over cooked) and then the sides came out about 3 min apart after that. I asked for another Paloma and waited so long that waitress apologized and said the drinks were on her (only nice part). We sat there for a while before another man (maybe the manager) came and clear our table and offered to box our leftovers up. It was frustrating to see one of our waiters sitting down in a booth socializing and laughing with another table. I’ve never wrote a negative review before but I feel like the capital grille is an expensive restaurant and I had higher expectations.

First off my expectations were high. Greeted and seated within minutes of arrival host staff was great warm and welcoming. We were seated in the bar area at a table. I loved the table, location and seating. We ordered flat and a bottle of San Pellegrino with limes. Promptly delivered. We then placed our drink order. A glass of red wine and a margarita both common drinks and nothing complicated about them. During that time we ordered our appetizer. The Lobster and Crab Cake with Lemon Basil Aioli. Excellent dish. Highly recommend. Still waiting on drinks. Ordered dinner. Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini Onions, Wild Mushrooms and Fig Essence. My spouse said it was good. I ordered the Filet. Cooked Pittsburgh (requested blue rare) Sides ordered were Sam’s mashed potatoes and Soy-Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon. 17 minutes at least since I was not staring at my watch when I ordered our drinks arrived. Dinner was timely. My filet was way over cooked. The Pittsburgh style (charred on the outside) was actually executed well. Ironically I just ate at Texas Roadhouse earlier in the week and they knew how to cook a filet Pittsburgh. This place not so much. As a former chef and line cook I’m happy to come teach. I didn’t send my steak back. It wasn’t worth wasting a 10oz prime cut filet. It was still edible. Just poorly executed. The sides were meh. The desert they send out was a nice touch. Total bill before tip 213. $50 tip 263 out the door. Not a great value for the money. The main difference is the larger wine selection and prime beef. I’d maybe give this place another chance. But it doesn’t come close to Ruby’s, Connor’s or Jack Fry’s. For the price point I don’t recommend.

This was our first time dining here and we were celebrating our anniversary. They had a little card at the table with confetti hearts. The host, servers and even a manager all told us Happy Anniversary. It was fantastic! This was in stark contrast to the restaurant we went to last year that didn't acknowledge it whatsoever. The bread assortment was lovely, and my passion fruit mojito was tasty. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella appetizer with tomatoes was perfectly balanced and flavor. My husband's Cowboy ribeye, he said was in the top two that he had ever gotten at any of the hundreds of fine dining restaurants that we've dined. My fillet with onions and mushrooms was tender. The creamed skillet corn was perfect. Our server was attentive and gave great explanations of all of the food. They even gave us a tiny anniversary dessert, my husband loved the chocolate mousse and I thought the creme brulee cheesecake with berries was fantastic. We both agreed that the only dishes that were a miss were the mashed potatoes which were smooth, but lacked salt and the creamed spinach. It was okay, but wasn't nearly as good as all the others I've had at many other restaurants. I highly recommend Capital Grille, we've already told all of our friends about it.

Waygu & Wine at Capital Grille was amazing! Emily the bartender was funny, helpful and cute. She started us out with a pineapple shot! It was vodka infused with pineapple. We had the Mushroom Swiss Waygu paired with glasses of Cabernet. The restaurant was sexy, classy!

We celebrated our nieces 21st birthday in style. The food was great and the staff treated her in a very special fashion. Thanks to The Capital Grille for a great evening!
