   We celebrated our 26th and came back for our 27th anniversary. We went for the culinary journey option this time. It was and incredible 8 courses paired with wine. Well worth every bite. Too much to eat in one sitting but was able to take home what we couldn't finish. The waiter we had was very excited about the menu and we had another person explain each course as it was served. This is a must restaurant for your list if you are a foodie lover. Specializes in South African cuisine. Chef Paul is incredibly creative! We look forward to another visit.

   This was my second time visiting this location. Once again, we got a chance to see the Chef. The octopus was delicious, the fish entrees were all good. My wife really loved the Brussel sprouts. She also was delighted that they were able to give her gluten free options. As my nickname implies, I like Ruths Chris steaks....I was not fully impressed with their steaks. The steak was well cooked and tender. I ordered my steak medium temperature. My issue was that I didn't like the chef's seasoning. I was expecting more flavor. Next time I will try the wet seasoning. The server was fantastic!! Very attentive! We ate outside on a beautiful evening.

    Incredible service, even better food! Decided to try a new place and when I tell you it was incredible! Tracy and Chelsea were phenomenal! They made the best recommendations! Everything that they recommended, was incredible! The chef came out to the table to say hi and the lol on his face when we took our first bite was priceless! He knows just how amazing his food is and just goes beautifully prepared it is! I will frequent this place!

    The food and service was fantastic. Our Server was great; she was attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu, and she gave us great food choice recommendations. I am looking forward to trying another dish on their menu quite soon.

    Husband and I celebrated our Anniversary here and highly recommend it! We both did the Culinary Journey and every course was phenomenal. Our waitress Jamie, made the food even better as she took us on the journey of where each dish came from and the inspiration behind it. Definitely ask for her if she is not already your waitress!

    Friday night was date night. We went back to the Chef’s Table, fully intent on ordering an actual dinner. Once again, we did not get beyond the appetizers, and brought half of everything back for delicious leftovers. Great food, wonderful atmosphere. We’ll try dinner again real soon.

    Menu selections included vegan dishes, an array of yummy appetizers. The variety of entrees was challenging to pick one. The peppadeux hummus and toasted bread was delicious. The waitstaff was courteous, friendly and stopped by the table just enough to ensure we were happy with our selections.

    This was our second visit after we were impressed with the flavors and textures a month prior. Outstanding entrees and service , though I have a major gripe with the management. The waitress had mistaken our order and brought out the incorrect entree for our kids. about 1/3 way through, we pointed it out, and the waitress brought the correct entree and missing sides to accompany it. When we received the bill, we were charged for the mistaken entree, and the manager even added the original entree we ordered, but took of some parts. The final result was an extra $10 for their mistake. When we question management. When we requested the manager to review the bill, he was confident extra charges were fair. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    I had the Durban chicken for lunch today, and I was blown away. The depth of flavor was complimented perfectly by the freshness of the tomato, onion and coconut mix-ins. Our curries were hand-delivered by Chef with a complimentary side of carrot bredie. We also ordered some Brussels sprouts and enjoyed every bite. Truly thoughtful menu and service. Will definitely return.

    Went to The Chef’s Table for Valentines Day with my wife. Despite being very busy, the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. As usual, Chef Paul and his staff hit it out of the park. I have been there many times and will continue to be a regular customer.

    Excellent service. Food was great. Ribeye and Beef ribs melting in your mouth. Owner Chef on site visiting with customers to make sure you were happy. We had a reservation and were seated on time on a busy Valentines night. Great job by all.

    This is hands-down, the best restaurant for fine dining in northwest Houston. Chef Paul goes above and beyond to make sure his food and his service is A+. My husband and I visited for Valentine’s Day. Every bit of our food was this world - and so were the drinks! Will be going back many times!

    My husband and I went here for an early Valentine’s meal. We enjoyed it. Our waiter took the time to share information about the menu and what he recommended since it was our first time. Everything that came out was absolutely delicious and you could tell it was freshly cooked. I had the Jerk Snapper and it was delicious. My husband had a steak with blue cheese and bacon. He’s kind of a picky eater and didn’t love the sauce but really thought the steak was good. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese and Brussel spouts. I highly recommend everything.

    Everything about this place is great! Six of us at dinner. Ribeye Kudu style was fantastic. Filet with peppercorn sauce was great. Wife loved the Kingklip. Pork steak with peppercorn sauce was really great. Charred octopus really good. Didn’t care for short rib.

    We had the Chef’s Tasting Menu - it was very good but too much food! I should’ve passed on the salad (nothing special) we ended up taking the last course (filet) home and it was amazing as a leftover so I will order it as an entree next time!

    The service was great. We had the Experience and the waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was good. The lamb chop was delicious. I would not have ordered the experience if I could have seen what the courses were. In eight courses, dessert was not included. How can the last course be a filet? Nothing light or sweet, after so many courses? Anyway, we had a good time, good food and excellent service.

    This was our second trip to Chef's Table and we will certainly be back for a 3rd. The waiter, Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and knew the menu well. I had the Kingklip which was the best fish I have ever had. This is a must.

    Had a reservation for 730, arrived at 7:20 to show courtesy to the restaurant. I was not seated till almost 8 o’clock. People that came in after me were seated right away. The noise was loud and we could not have a conversation. After probably being waited on it took 30 minutes just to get our beverages. My guests and I both had an appetizer and an entrée. The service was deplorable. When the waitress finally came back, I gave her my credit card, because no telling how long it would be until we saw her again. I would not recommend this restaurant whatsoever. I was in there one time and it was a delightful experience.
