    The Cherry Tree is a fantastic venue. The staff are friendly and efficient. The price is expensive but the food is excellent. I have only one critique. I ordered the fillet steak and when it came, the presentation was sadly lacking. If I am paying for the most expensive item on the menu, I expect a bit more than steak, a small mushroom with a tomato balanced on it and chips in a bucket. The food was delicious BUT chips in a bucket? On a £32 plate? The presentation of this dish needs to be reviewed. Compared to the slow cooked lamb dish which looked amazing.

    2 meals returned due to being cold in parts. Meant party of 4 did not eat together. We were close to the last servicing and some of the menu was unavailable. Not really up to usual standards and a bit disappointing as we had hyped up the restaurant to our visiting friends. Bradley our server coped very well with the issues.

    An amazing restaurant. The staff are professional and always on hand. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere was very relaxed and not too noisy. Beautifully decorated. I will recommended and I'll be returning.

    The food is always amazing and my teenage granddaughters love our visits to the Cherry Tree . Prices are not too bad however my husband thinks that vegetables should be included in the Sunday Lunch menu.

    A fabulous atmosphere with nice food. The service was spot on . Trinity was lovely and looked after us. The only complaint would be about the salad. A classic Caesar salad if priced at £13.95 needs to consist of more than a plate of lettuce Drowned in dressing with huge lumps of rock hard bread pretending to be croutons. When I say drowned I mean drowned and it was basically inedible. The chicken added on for another 7.95 was nice. But then with a grand total of £21.80 it was not worth the money in fact a total rip off! Being with a group of great friends I would not complain and spoil an otherwise fab evening. Sort out your salad is all that is required.

    So much to choose from on the menu. We were a party of 8 who all had three courses. The food was delicious although those that had the beetroot starter would have enjoyed more beetroot on their starter and those that had the ice cream would have preferred two blobs not just one. Three of us had the slow cooked lamb. It was tasty, but just a bit of a weird dish as in there was a mini cottage pie with mash potato on top that wasn’t expected. We would have preferred more slow cooked lamb and more vegetables. Drinks were slow to arrive due to many people ordering cocktails. We had a good table and the atmosphere was spot on. Thank you for a lovely evening.

    Enjoyed my birthday booking although had to wait. 45minutes for the table booked. Staff were apologetic and did offer another table. Felt they should have encouraged the previous booking to move more quickly. The food was very good and the cocktails superb.

    As always, food fantastic and service good. Our waiter was new and obviously nervous, and although a couple of mistakes were made ( understandable) he was extremely courteous, and very personable. He will be excellent! Lovely atmosphere and beautiful setting. Perfect venue for special occasions. Can highly recommend the lamb dish

    Absolutely OUTSTANDING service from Paul who served us on the day, along with all the staff that we encountered. We’ve eaten at many fine restaurants in our time, and honestly Paul offered the best service we’ve ever experienced. Hats off to the recruiting team for employing the best staff (please don’t let them go!) Food was first class, I can’t recommend The Cherry Tree highly enough - well done team, you’re doing an amazing job!

    absolutely fabulous experience,the food was to die for! The vegan menu was superb.The staff were attentive but not intrusive.Our waitress ( sorry I don't know her name) had a tattoo on her arm,was just the loveliest person ever... A great experience had all round.The only thing I would say is make your own little biscuits for the coffees .

    We went for my daughters birthday for the first time. The place is beautiful the staff are all lovely and well presented. We really enjoyed it. Also they gave her a birthday card n dessert. There was also a magician. It’s the special extra touches that made our night. Also the food is very nice, Perfect evening thank you!

    Outside of the restaurant is nicely lit, interior was really impressive, good staff and lovely food. A little bit on the pricey side but probably worth it overall. We will be back.

    Good food and service …. it was so nice to have a 2 hour dining experience and not a rushed eating experience…… people want to dine & socialise and not just eat…….the Cherry Tree understand…. Bravo!!!

    We really enjoyed our meal, with friends, here. The atmosphere was good, if a little noisy and it felt very relaxed. the service was good and the food even better though it seemed very busy for Thursday lunch how ever the staff coped very well and we weren't kept waiting for our food. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

    I just love the ambience of the restaurant. The menu choice is always wonderful with great variety. The staff are both friendly and profession. Our server yesterday was Hannah and she was a credit to the Cherry Tree. I am looking forward to my next visit.
