The Choice - B.Y.O.B
The Choice is a no-brainer. Excellent food, perfect fish, absolutely delicious, and that's true each and every visit, as well. Great service, attentive service, fair prices and neighborhood vibe. Highest recommendation.
This was our first time dining here and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, as well as beautifully prepared and presented, and the service was great. We will be back.
Food was outstanding. Love that it’s a BYO
Outstanding! We're always greeted warmly at The Choice! The food was exceptional - especially the Duck Confit and the Wagyu Beef and the Yellowtail Sashimi! Do not miss! A wonderful bonus that it's a byob! Love, Love, Love!!
This restaurant should have a Michelin star rating. My favorite restaurant when in Philly.
wonderful food, very pricey, very loud hard to have a conversation
The restaurant seemed nice a little too quiet bc I felt like we couldn’t talk too loud as I we can everyone talking low and just made it awkward. The food was pretty good but the halibut was overcooked and that was disappointing as the flavors were spot on and the chocolate meltdown cake was bland.
Food was amazing with complex tastes. The temperature for each dish was perfect and the freshness of the food was superb!
Fishy smell when first entering. However, food was excellent and service was outstanding. We will recommend and definitely return.
Another fantastic experience at The Choice. Don't miss the chicken pate and steak tartare!
Will go back many times
Best Restaurant on Main Line- with a most interesting menu . Ceviches and Carpaccios are especially innovative
Outstanding food and service! One comment to the chefs...the food s so delicious, a bit too heavy with the soy sauce let the food shine thru!
The lamb chops were exquisitely seasoned and scalloped potatoes were yum. All entrees we enjoyed were perfectly prepared and presented.
Expensive but byob helps. Everything nice portion and flavor sis not dissapoint.
I took friends to lunch who were celebrating their anniversary. The husband ordered
Pasta Alfredo with Shrimp. It was delicious. The portion was generous and the shrimp were abundant.
On the other hand the wife and I ordered the Lobster Salad. The menu stated that it contained 1/2 lobster. What arrived was a plateful of mixed greens and baby tomato halves with a delicious dressing. Unfortunately, the "1/2 lobster " was a baby lobster which was cut into small pieces and was very disappointing especially since it was one of the higher priced menu items.
Desserts were excellent and the anniversary song was a delightful surprise (Lucky that we were the only remaining patrons in the restaurant because my guests remarked that they would have been quite embarrassed.)
We love the place: always creative good quality cooking welcoming atmosphere and you bring your own wine to feel better for not overpaying!:)
Quality of the food was outstanding. I had the impression our server was very new to the restaurant, but was very accommodating. Small restaurant but tables were appropriately spaced.
Terrible service. Would not go back. It’s all about the service.
Menu was diverse and ambitious. Service was polite and helpful. Prices a bit high for the preparation and quality of the food. Food was better than most places on the Main Line but quality was not distinguished
Need to match quality with pricing Dinner for 2 about $200 with tip and byob. A little rich for pretty good
Well thought out menu, food well prepared, the duck breast is fantastic. Service friendly and attentive. Burrata Salad a large enough portion for 2, very good. Calm, pleasant vibe. Will definitely return.
Sat outside, fantastic service, wonderful food
Started with burrata salad. It was good but needed more dressing. I had the sautéed lobster special which was good and my husband had the NY steak which he said he liked. Our entrees were good but not amazing for the prices.
Amazing food. Lovely service. Place you get sit and talk. Chef is innovator. For foodies.
Ambitious menu. Wife raved about her dinner. Service excellent. Price reasonable based on comparable restaurants in region.
Was so excited to try this restaurant, sadly we will never return. I don't understand what the hype is all about. The service was sad, inattentive. The décor was awful, yoi feel like your in a strip mall, no soul, no personality and the noise level is ridiculous... no soft products to help with acoustics. and no... I'm not an old person. However, everyone there was.
The food... I had the Octopus and mushroom (I'm a fanatic re grilled octopus, I'd eat it every day if I could!) this dish tasted like a stir fry you'd get at a food counter, it was soaked and floating in a stir fry sauce that was so salty, everything was soggy and all tasted the same. I had a hard time differentiating between the mushroom and octopus. Awful. Had Black Cod for dinner with a side of mash potatoes. The cod was bland and no flavor. The mash potatoes also had no flavor, I had to douse them with salt and pepper. My husband got the lamb chops, they were cooked well and tasty. His appetizer of Steak tar tar was also lacking. Apple pie was bleh... its a custard apple pie. that would be helpful in the description.
Food is always excellent - All four of us agreed .
Just a great suburban BYO - worth the drive from Huntingdon Valley.
Great food beautiful night outside for dining 👍
Food was go but expensive for portion size, I ordered soft shell crab appetizer..very tiny crabs for $22 ...better to have a entree I guess but I usually find the portion of appetizers better for me.
Cheese plate & salad was good..
i have no words to explain how delicious food in this amazing place
There were 8 of us and each party really enjoyed their dinners- the carpaccios, tartars, soft shell crabs, lobster salad,- all were delicious. A wonderful restaurant.
This restuarant never disappoints. All of the food is delicious and the presentation is a sight to behold.
Always Excellent!! Highly recommend the scallops in filo dough, tuna tartare & lobster ceviche as apps & the rack of lamb is amazing.
2nd visit in a month and plenty of new menu items-the kitchen is active. Excellent food-probably the best BYOB on the Main Line.
First time we had dined here. Went with two other couples, so six of us in all. Everyone had a great meal. The presentation was exceptional! lots of pics taken. our server was excellent. A bit pricey but can't say that it wasn't worth it - just not a place you want to take the kids.
Good was excellent service satisfactory BYOB aspect nice for location. Prices a little steep
Don't walk, run and grab a reservation at one of our favorite restaurants. The food, service, and ambience is great. We love it and we believe you will, too.
Excellent food. Josh the waiter and the staff were great. Glad we went.
Never disappoints! Outstanding food and service!
