   Service was a little slow, but there was a large table next to us. I had a pizza and the cheese tasted like nothing, but the cocktails were great.

   We waited almost an hour to get our appetizer, which only came after I went and asked someone about it. They did comp it and were apologetic and attentive after that. The place itself it really cool, food is fine.

   We waited a while to be served. Many staff were gathered at the bar chattering with nothing to do. Our waiter was very sweet and accommodating. My husband ordered the burger. He enjoyed it. I’m vegan and ordered pizza. I was told the dough was frozen so there was no pizza. Very disappointed as I chose the restaurant by checking the menu online ahead of time. I ordered the Caponata. It was supposed to be an eggplant stew. It seemed to be a zucchini stew and spiced and salted heavily. I could not eat it. I was offered a menu to select something else but it took so long for our meal to come, I did not want to wait. I could not wait to leave. I felt management was lacking for a Friday night. I will not return.

   Wonderful food, sevice and ambiance. The patio in the courtyard makes it feel really out of the hussle and bussle of the market. We were a team of work colleagues so it gave us a chance to chat.

   Even sigh a reservation, we were completely ignored. We sat at the table for 20 minutes with no service. Servers looked at us but nothing and they weren’t full.

   Had a great time on our first visit! Cocktails were very tasty and the cauliflower bites were so good we ordered a 2nd round! We will definitely be back.

    We arrived shortly after the end of happy hour a little after 6 pm so initially service was a little slow but then very attentive service by RJ. He made the evening special and we will return. The pizzas were tasty (we tried both the mushroom and the beef brisket pizzas) and the fish was moist and flaky. We tried the new lemon dessert which was the perfect blend of sweet and tart. For three individuals with multiple drinks…our bill was around $150.

    We get there - server who seats us asks if we want to sit outside… answer is no thank you… eye roll, and seated… wait over 10 minutes for a server to come around…. ordered 2 drinks. After enough time passes that we should have our drinks, I start keeping track. 20 MINUTES LATER we get our drinks, server apologizes, says drinks will be discounted. Another abnormal amount of time later,drinks are done (they were bad) and we get food (every item overcooked). We get the bill (finally), server types in $11,100 instead of $111 - no discounted drinks. Ok mistakes happen but cumulatively… I will never be back, worst experience ever -1/10.

    We came here for Happy hour on a Saturday and we had a very good experience overall The cocktails were delicious, the food average We ordered a pizza from the happy hour menu which was ok not a pizza it was basically more like a flatbread with few ingredients on top,definitely not worth 24 dollars so it was ok that it was happy hour priced We will go back and try different options for cocktails and food as well

    I was really looking forward to my first visit to the Clarendon. Unfortunately, it was a less than average experience. Service was very slow, even though lots of staff, and hardly anyone in the restaurant. Food choice was very limited, and once we did eat, was very average , not great at all. Also quite expensive for what they did have. It's a lovely place inside, but that's all I can really say positive. We won't be back. The Brig, Auld Dubliner and Hesrt and Crown are close by, And FAR superior to The Clarendon.

    Great spot! We ate inside on a rainy Saturday night so it was not too busy. The ambience and decor were perfect, and it felt really intimate. Excellent service with friendly server and host. Food is reasonably priced and delicious!

    I ordered the pork tenderloin from the menu and was served a pork loin chop. I would not have ordered that entree if I had known they were making the substitution. When I mentioned it to the server they were oblivious. They said the menu was changing. That’s okay, but the diner should be informed that the meat on the menu is not what they’re serving. I’ll have to consider carefully whether I will return. The way this was handled indicates a complete disregard for the customer experience and no communication between the kitchen and serving staff.

    I ordered the duck wings which were over cooked and dry which is a shame because I had them on Valentine’s Day and wow it made us come back. The duck pizza was great. My drinks were sent out wrong and then told by some other server that they didn’t have right ingredients. Our server was more interested in the people at the bar instead of the tables. I love thé hyde so I will return there but not sure of the Clavedon.

    The ambiance was great, food and drinks were wonderfully delicious and well-flavoured - drinks, while being delicious, were small for the $$$. Service was good but could have been much more frequent; not recommended if you're in a hurry. Double the check-ins and keep the beverages topped up next time and we'll come back for a second round

    The sage and juniper duck wings were fantastic! The service, such as seating us, was a little disorganized, but it was Valentines so it was totally understandable. The restaurant was quiet and dark, which was perfect for my sensory issues.

    We came in on Friday night, it was very cold out so we were the only ones there. Our bartender was really friendly and the space was gorgeous. We tried two cocktails they were both great and we also had some really good fries. It was a great experience, thank you! We’ll be back!

    Our first try was for brunch! Eggs Bene was delicious ! The chicken and waffles were so tasty however the waffles could have been hotter. Over all we will return! Oh and the coffee we very good! Enjoy
