We had a lovely time at the Colden Mill. The food was excellent and the decor and ambiance is worth the drive into the country.
Wonderful restaurant! Really enjoy the quiet atmosphere after a hectic work week. The consistent quality food keeps us coming back.
Last minute reservation was made and we were delighted with the service from server Cameron, manager Chrissie and owner Chuck! Don’t miss the French Onion soup 2 ways ! Coconut shrimp were sweet and savory. Excellent cocktails and conversation ~ lots of room to social distance in a quaint setting! Hats off to Chef Matt!

The restaurant is very quaint. It has been years since we were there. The food was excellent and the staff was outstanding. We will absolutely go again.
Service was very slow. Used to rave about the french onion soup, this time not so great. Ordered brie, came out tasting like mozarella sticks.
Dining in a quiet country setting in a very home-like-feeling restaurant is quite pleasant. We were able to sit and visit with friends and were well served with plenty of food, drinks, and a good wait staff. We all liked our meals very much (short ribs, eggplant parm, cottage pie, bacon-wrapped meatloaf) and dessert was great, too, (chocolate pecan pie, apple fritters with ice cream, and a chocolate bread pudding.)
We all want to go back again!
New Year’s Eve. Seems like they overbooked like crazy. Ran out of menu items, 50 minute wait. Felt so bad for the server, can’t count how many times she apologized. Food was ok but not accompanied with sides as described. Won’t make the NYE mistake again.
New years eve .... busy. Waitress inexperienced we helped her open wine bottle. "Entree is ready" she declared while we still were eating our salad. Problem arose when held our dinners in kitchen. I ordered medium rare filet while my brother ordered medium well. He received medium well while my steak was overdone.... more than well done. Waitress gave mine to my brother so during hold in kitchen my medium rare became his medium well. his medium well was mistakenly severed to me in cremated state! Figured out what happened.... told waitress and nothing was done to rectify or apologize.
New Year’s Eve dinner at the “Colden Mill” was a nice experience. The decor is what you’d expect at a “mill” which was very comfortable and cozy. The service was great especially since it was a busy night and we were up in the loft. The food was good, not great, but good. The creamy onion soup was very delicious. I liked it better than the traditional one and loved the way the soups were served in a divided bowl. I would go again in the summertime to sit out on the patio overlooking the creek!

Nice atmosphere, but limited menu, overpriced food. Fish Fry for 17.50? Batter was dry with no taste, half a cup of coleslaw and chewy bow tie pasta. Kids meal was 12.50 for a cheeseburger and fries? Fries were soggy and limited like all the sides. Waitress was ok, but could have been more attentive. Reviews confused us on here. Many better options and better quality food in the area. Only good thing was the bread. Surprised they are in business with the prices, quality, and service or lack thereof.

If you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere after a gorgeous short drive thru the hills, stop here. We were en route to the West Falls Center for the Arts for a concert, but our waitress was helpful getting us in and out within about an hour.
It was nice having a top-shelf dinner is such a Currier and Ives setting. The duck was unbelievable, and crab cakes are always a must as an appie. The owner Mike was behind the bar attentively watching over. I'll definitely go back---and recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, memorable meal.
Used a groupon but still very expensive. 2 Steak dinners which were lukewarm. Plates came out different times. Service was good but did not think the menu was great. It is a not a fine dining ambiance in my opinion - lovely, cozy but not expensive dinners.
Used your app to reserve a table and had a terrible placement near entrance where people kept walking through us. The food was tasty, but little range of choices- very high caloric items. The service was poor and we felt like we were just an add on. We won’t be returning.

Our dinner was delicious. I had a pork chop special and my husband had the steak. We walked out of there very impressed with the chef. We will definitely be back.

The ambiance was great. Service was friendly and good. The menu could offer more choices. Parking was somewhat of a problem. It's on a corner that seemed to have a lot of traffic when we were trying to back out of the parking space. I would recommend it to a friend. The ride out on an autumn day was beautiful. We are very glad we tried this restaurant.

Food was excellent. We have come to this restaurant three times, and the food has been amazing every time.
First of all, we like the drive up. The 3 different dinner dishes that were served, all were super, well prepared and very delicious, no complaints. The dinner rolls were great, could have enter a few more. Finally, the waitress was super and funny with a sense of humor. We all had a great time.
Colden Mill is our go-to night out. Food is always outstanding. Matt is an artist in the kitchen. And Chuck makes the BEST Cosmopolitan there is!
We went for s wonderful birthday meal. The food was delicious. The restaurant did not read my reservation notes. We did not receive the table I requested ( although they did move us once I told them I did not like our table) no candle in the dessert, didn’t hand the check to me. I’ll go back, but with the understanding they don’t care about my simple, advance requests.
Outdoor seating by the creek with plants all around us, under a tree, with great food and drink made for a lovely night out!

We were able to sit out on the patio, which overlooks the river. It was like sitting in a tree house! It was enchanting! The shrimp Mac and cheese was divine! The tuna dish was not as good, but the flavours were wonderful. Service was excellent and all the staff were quite friendly. We used a Groupon and we were welcomed as any other patron and asked to come again. I have rarely had that level of enthusiasm with using a Groupon. This is a great place and I recommend it highly!
My wife’s children special was very good. Food is always of high quality at a very good value. Another nice night.
Great food, great service, worth the drive from Buffalo, brought back memories from our younger days skiing at Kissing Bridge.....
