   Service was not great even though we made a reservation they were in a hurry to get us out. So if you are hoping to have a nice paced meal don’t go hear. We had just sat down ordered a drink and the server was asking if we were ready to order. We had just sat down. The group of ladies at the table next to us were screaming and and yelling glad they were having fun because no one else was. The food was amazing though I had the grilled cheese and it was delicious.

   Drinks were so yummy! Food was overall good, had a bad experience with adding chicken to my salad as the chicken tasted like fish. They were more than willing to take it off of my bill though! Very great service! Would go again(:

    Made a res for our inaugural visit. Parking is lousy, but hey, it’s downtown. That’s to be expected. Service was great, vibe and decor super trendy. Great unique cocktail list and nice menu with a variety of different eclectic choices- really something for every. Will be back.

    Incredible food. Came for the live music/jam night, which was outstanding, loved the aesthetics, environment, and staff. Overall sound level could have been a bit lower to hear conversation and the high’s on the singer’s mic were a tad hot. But otherwise fantastic. Will definitely be back.

    The ambience is very nice, however the food and cocktails are below average. I would recommend it for drinks but not a dinner.

    Third time there and it only gets better! Dance floor was open now, and we had a wonderful evening. Stayed right till close, staff was so nice we didn’t want to leave. See you again soon

    We had a lovely evening. We have often returned to the Common as the atmosphere , ambiance and service is exceptional ….. The Beef Wellington was phenomenal !!! We certainly wish that was on the regular menu!

    Food was excellent, but one of our meals was very delayed getting to the table. After waiting for a few after the other dishes arrived, our server said it would only be a few minutes. It ended up being 10-15 minutes and there was no further comments from the server or anyone else. An explanation of why would have been appreciated.

    The server didn't even know the menu and could not recommend anything. Two of the three of us are good cooks so the food was a bit meh. The mac and cheese was good.

    We got the Fish and chips, the breading was soggy and wet inside and the fish wasn't flavorful, wasn't the best dish. We also got the Crispy chicken sandwich which was very flavorful and very delicious, loved this dish, the chicken breading was very good and not oily and the aioli was a definite win. For drinks we tried the 'good for what ails ya' which had no flavor except the whiskey, very strong. Not a whiskey fan so I cannot properly judge. We also tried the 'club night', not much flavor but nice light foamy drink with a pretty purple, not strong alcohol flavor which was good. The atmosphere was very loud and energetic and warm, lot's of people talking, staff were very friendly and helpful. Unique and creative décor, clean washrooms, and comfortable seating. No parking, you have to walk a bit from pay parking lot's or some street parking so prepare for that.

    The menu was diverse, fresh, and delicious, while also being cooked impeccably. Had a great meal and experience. It’s fairly loud so ‘intimate’ talk is difficult; but the atmosphere is fabulous for a night out. 10/10 recommendation.

    Our server was so lovely, but I didn’t catch her name! The new cocktails were all delicious, we had the Lavendar 75 and the Mulled Sangria. The cannelloni was also amazing, and the popcorn delicious as usual. A bit too noisy but still a good atmosphere!

    We made reservations ahead of time and were seated in the centre of traffic and noise. A person in our party had a hearing impairment who has never had an issue in a loud environment, literally ended up with a migraine and we all left fairly early. The food was good. The steak tartare was amazing. Chicken and waffles could have used more sauce and the tacos were okay. The cocktails were great! Our server was great but the volume needs to be lowered during supper hours. There is plenty of time to get noisy later!

    We are from Calgary and make a point of going to the Common every time we visit Edmonton. This time was exceptionally great because they had extended happy hour to 10pm. The drink selection is awesome, and the food choices are all top notch and expertly prepared. The staff are all fantastic! I just wish it wasn’t a 3 hour drive from home!
