We were seated away from others which we wanted due to covid concerns. Our waiter was fast and friendly and knowledgeable. The food was out of this world good. We had a great time here and will be returning.

Beautiful evening dining at the Common; great cocktails.. vodka on the rocks with twist of lemon and the classic Caesar made to perfection... green salad is not just a green salad..different and tasty; and for our mains we went for the classics, fish and chips and chicken and waffles. Tons of Food ! Prepared to perfection; everything was hot and fresh out of the oven. Dessert.. sticky pudding .. perfect end , warms, sweet, buttery and very sticky. Service was spot on - all the staff so very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was a bit quiet... I will be back again soon and encourage others to come out and support this little gem of a gathering place !!

Food was very “okay” and very heavily salted, which was not the experience I’ve had at the Common before. But the decor and ambiance were great and made for a great date night. Also the music was great as usual!

Had a great night at The Common. Ambiance was calm on arrival. As the night went on, the DJ boosted the energy. Reece was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Had Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Wings, Brassica Salad, Truffle Popcorn. Everything was on point. Drinks were impeccable. Blueberry Pie, Mojitos and more. Thanks for a great experience.

What a fantastic place to go to with a group of friends or on a date night. The service was great and the aesthetic and ambiance is spot on. Not to mention the food is delicious. I was particularly impressed with the variety of gluten-free options available. I was able to eat more than just a salad lol!!

We went there for a private retirement farewell and it was great. Our friend was very happy with the food and service. It is difficult during the pandemic, but we have good spacing and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly. Good food but, mains came out before our appetizer. I served all the wine to my guests. 30 years in food service, but now I’m retired!

Excellent craft beers on rotation.
The menu was redone by a new chef.
I enjoyed the pulled pork poutine, lots of flavour, perfect fries.
The service was great and responsive.
It took a bit long to get the food at lunch time.

The menu at the Common has something for everyone; vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, plus many meat-based options. I am never disappointed with my choice. The choice of ingredients always results in the most amazing blend of flavors. They do change the menu on a regular basis which I love. But once you find a favorite dish, you have to make sure to enjoy it before the menu changes.
The drink menu is also great with the classics cocktails and some unique offerings. And a fantastic selection of local beer.
The staff is amazing. Always very inviting and friendly. The combination of the menu and staff make this my go-to place.

The food took a little long, but our server came over to apologize and ended up comping half of the bill (we said it was no big deal but they insisted). Tasty food, we will likely go back.
