It took a little while for our server to make the initial contact and get drinks ordered ( also another larger table there), but after that everything was perfect. Great service, great food, really good time. The Commoner was very helpful in arranging the table we needed ahead of time. Thank you.

Excellent choice, clean, attractive interior, excellent staff. The Commoner has become a go to restaurant in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood. Never disappoints.

Overall, good dinner. Buffalo cauliflower was great. Both the Buffalo and blue cheese sauces were delicious. Girlfriend had the veggie burger and said it was good. She got the truffle and Parmesan fries with it. Those were good but needed salt. I had the chicken schnitzel with dill potato salad and picked beats. Everything was cooked well and the schnitzel had a great crispy crust, but like the fries everything needed salt. I thought it was odd that the server asked if we wanted salt and pepper when she gave us our food since I would expect it to be seasoned when cooked, but maybe they know the food is under seasoned. Anyway, the ambiance was great and I would give it another try.

We went for brunch as soon as they opened on Saturday morning. Staff are really nice and the service was great! Food was excellent! Everyone was happy with their food. Really really good!

Took my parents there for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time. Great space with quality everywhere you look from the decor to the tables to the washrooms..etc. The food was exceptional and had an elevated but not too fancy or minimal feel to everything we ordered. Quantity of every order was perfect. The fish tacos were excellent as well as the starter wings we had with the cajun rub. Their signature burger, The Commoner, was very, very tasty with great tasting fries to accompany it. Veggie burger, cobb salad, and some kids chicken fingers were all top notch. The service we received was also great! Friendly and attentive wait staff and timing on our drinks and meals were all prompt and paced well. Easily one of our favourite spots.

All our meals were fresh and delicious. I found at time s difficult to hear each other speak g as music was a tad bit loud, but otherwise lovely vibe, and atmosphere! Fantastic food!

Love this spot, first time for brunch and it didn't disappoint. Food was terrific, good size servings, maybe best roastie potatoes ever, service was excellent. A bit noisy, and it's a family friendly place so if you don't like having brunch with the potential of sitting next to screaming toddlers this may not be your best pick - or go after 1pm when it quieted down considerably the day we were there.

This place is great, and our group often goes there for drinks. The staff is great! It's our neighborhood hangout place. The only thing that I would (in bold) recommend is that the host staff get better training on all levels. The maximum amount of characters allowed to type is 2000 and much more is needed. Kayla as usual, great cocktails!
