The dining experience was not quite what I was expecting. Our server forgot to send in our food order so we were waiting for over an hour for the food to come. She did come over and apologize and offered solutions , which was great but I would've preferred her to have already come up with one. At the end of our stay, the host came over and informed us to leave and apologized for the order delay. It felt ironic and unwelcoming as she did two things at once: insult us and apologize lol.

Love this spot!! Happy we got to go back for a visit on the patio to enjoy the warm weekend weather!!

A great find. Smaller menu right now for the patio but lots of choice and delicious. The Buffalo cauliflower was amazing. Service was excellent.

The Commoner serves excellent meals with great fries. My chicken sandwich was wonderful. My friend had a Cob salad and extended congratulations to the chef on the excellent flavour. I just hope this place can be with us for a long time.

Had a great first visit. Food was fresh and tasty. Our server was amazing. Will definitely come back. One tiny comment I’d like to share is that I think the crab cakes could be a bit larger for what the price is. Thanks so much!

The Commoner is doing a great job staying open and busy in the pandemic. Both pre and during, their service and food are outstanding!

Great time on the patio, felt socially distanced from other tables, and the Ceasar salad I was surprisingly fantastic

Fantastic food and service, super fresh and healthy power bowl with salmon, IPA and truffle fries. Will go there again. Streetside patio is a little noisy, especially with the chance sirens. But great outdoor space. Will return.

We went for lunch and sat outside. Our server was very pleasant. The food was mediocre only because there wasn’t a huge selection
Especially if you don’t eat carbs. It was typical bar food....my millennial aged kids loved it!
If I want to go for fat, calories and carbs, I would definitely choose this place to satisfy that craving.
The bar itself inside was stunning. I may try doing dinner there once to see if the selection is better.
All in all, not a bad place.

My partner and I have been enjoying the Commoner since it opened a couple years back. It’s a neighbourhood gem- delicious and reasonably priced food (you gotta try the portobello burger!), great drinks, a beautiful space and a huge patio (very helpful during covid!), and lovely staff who will go out of your way to ensure your experience is special. Special shout out to Dawn Marie for always going out of her way to make us feel at home. We love the Commoner!

Everything was very good. The food, the service, the restaurant it's self. But I hate the ads sent by emails to me.

We had a delightful dinner on the Commoner patio. Wonderful large patio for social distance dining. Food is high quality pub food, very well prepared. Overall, would highly recommend!

Brunch at the Commoner was very tasty. We both had the fries and the Huevos Rancheros which was missing the avocado even though I searched for it. It was still super tasty. Service was good though our main meal took an hour to come out. However, that was not the server's fault and she was very attentive. Just surprised that a relatively easy dish and a time that was not excessively busy would lead to waiting for an hour for our meal. On the whole would recommend this restaurant to friends.

Great spot with a good variety of menu options for brunch. Only reason for not a 5-star was because the food could have been warmer. Service was really great.

I went to Commoner Roncy with my daughter and my parents. We all enjoyed the atmosphere. We sat inside. It was clean and comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our food took a while, but we were not in a rush. The food was good. It's upscale pub food. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Food, service fantastic. I had the chicken club (fried jalapenos amazing addition). Kids'breakfasts were the perfect size and the breakfast sandwich on a croissant was delish.
