It’s pricey but so worth it. Everything was delicious. Creative. Fun. Great place for a special occasion. Cocktails are inspired. Scallops amazing. Desert fabulous. You won’t be disappointed.
Enjoyed every bite that we had! The cocoa infusions in all of the courses was outstanding. The dessert of course cannot be matched and we made sure to save room. I had the scallops and highly recommend them for an entree. We will be back soon!
This place is out of this world. The chef is inspired, the waitstaff attentive, and the ambience is classy without being too "trendy." Each dish is a specially created gem -- and the desserts will have you swooning. Go. Just go.
I came here with 3 of my friends to celebrate a birthday. My initial thoughts of this place were quite negative when we waited to be seated at 7:30 pm with a 7 pm reservation. We first arrived at the small, crowded entrance with no one asking to help us. When I told them we had a 7 pm reservation, we waited and were told that the table was going to be ready soon. Another 15 minutes or so and the same thing. What made it worse was that the front entry way was small and to serve the outside, the server had to go through the front door (I do understand that the design is no fault of the restaurant). After waiting in a somewhat crowded area for half an hour made it more annoying. However, when we were finally seated, it was acknowledged that we had to wait and we were served a complimentary appetizer. The rest of the dinner went well as the food and drinks were excellent as we hoped (we came here because we expected the food and drinks to be of the same quality of Coco Sala, which had closed in DC). Despite the rocky start of meal, we had an overall good experience.
Very good restaurant. Love lots of patrons. Food is delicious and different than you normally find. A DC vibe in Leesburg, VA.
Great food and service. Really enjoyed the service provide by a nice young man. Graciously making sure everything was to our desire. As a true "foodie," I found my experience at The Conche like a mini vacation! Thank you. We will return.
Amazing food and great ambiance. One of the best Mac and cheese dishes I’ve had.
This is a gem in Leesburg for great food and service. The food and drink menu have a lot to offer for all.
Stopped in for a casual meal and was surprised at how wonderful the food was. Well worth the visit. Dessert was also wonderful and a very pleasant wait staff.
The Conche is my go-to for dinner out- friends, special occasions, or a family meal. It has excellent options for kids, and they take special care for anyone with dietary needs or allergies. The waitstaff is professional and genuinely nice. The food is expertly crafted and delicious. Nice range of food and prices.
Be sure to try a cocktail! There is even a cocktail class that is fun and informative. Oh, and then there are the famous desserts! Save room for some chocolate!
This restaurant is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Northern VA.
You absolutely must try the following:
Short rib entree that started out as appetizer and graduated to an entree in the last few months.
Lamb flatbread that is bursting with flavor & spices
Dessert: Opalys or Manjari
Amazing! The service, drinks, calamari app, and salmon entree was superb!
I had high expectations but was slightly disappointed. Ambiance was nice and the food was good but too many layers of ingredients...it was overkill. We ordered the braised short ribs and rib eye and the meal came smothered in so much sauce and presentation the food was an afterthought. Same with the desert. The waiter announced every ingredient (so unnecessary as it was listed on the menu and besides we could not hear him over the noise level). I hope they can take the feedback and tone done the presentation and just let good food speak for itself. Sometimes less is best.
My rib eye steak was the tastiest I have ever had! The asparagus with sauce was incredibly delicious!
We shared the peach trifle for desert and it was yummy!
Our absolute favorite restaurant in Loudoun County. It’s great for special occasions, date nights, dessert, cocktails, and is always reliable for a delicious meal.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and had a great time. Everything was excellently prepared and the bartender was fantastic!
Ivan was a superb server. Provided great insight, great vibe & the food was delicious.
The Conche is the best kept secret in Leesburg. By far, the best restaurant in town. Take a seat at the bar and enjoy great cocktails and see some of the most fabulous deserts being made behind the desert kitchen.
Bar menu is great and so is the main dining menu. One of the things my wife and I like about the restaurant is that they keep their drink menu fresh by offering new additions often, and changing up their food menu.
Decent food, small portions, very overpriced. Will not go back but worth trying one time.
Had to wait for seat even with reservation, while people with no reservations sat before us.
We just went to for coffee and and, of course, the chocolate desserts. Staff was very versed on the menu, very friendly and accommodating. We will be back for dinner or lunch soon.
The only word to describe the experience is excellent!!! We will be back
Lawson-GM National Conference Center
Great attention to detail. Desserts are a must.
We went for a special date night. We expected to be well-cared for and even have the manager come around to check on us. The service was horrible! We thought we’d never go back. Then we tasted the food!! We’ll-done, Chef. When we left, we found out that they were short two servers and the manager was covering the bar. We totally understood why the service was so bad. We’ve decided to give them another try.
This is my third time dining at The Conche, but the first time for dinner. My first lunch experience was almost perfect. The second time, even though there were few diners, the service was somewhat sketchy. This time, the service was downright...mediocre. Wrong beverages, long waits. The service was somewhat improved by being pleasant and well intentioned. The food was delicious, although the prices are a little high. The presentation is stellar. LOVE the spicy chocolate sauces served with a variety of menu items. Altogether, I like The Conche and will try again, hoping for better.
This was hands down the best food experience I have ever been on. I was looking for something romantic to celebrate an anniversary with my boyfriend and I found this restaurant. We are both huge foodies and love new experiences and high class restaurants. This restaurant specializes and uses the cocoa bean in most of their dishes. It was absolutely the best food, drinks, and desserts we have ever had and I highly recommend the experience, especially if you understand what all goes into putting these dishes together. This place is a must try, at least once in a lifetime experience, but we plan on going back again and again because it's our new favorite.
Just like always great meal terrific service I’ve on our waiter was absolutely fantastic
We had a truly amazing time. It’s been a while since we enjoyed a meal, restaurant, over all experience that much!!
Terribly overpriced for what you get. I’m not sure how they will survive in this market with these prices. Service is awful...asked if they had any bread and they said no.
This was my second time. First time was with a friend and this time was with my husband. Front the moment we enter the restaurant until we left our service was nothing but suburb. Our food was perfect temperatures and time between was closely monitored. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about everything. Thank you everyone from the Conche for another wonderful experience. We will be back,
This was my first visit. I came with a friend for brunch. The food was amazing. I had the breakfast flatbread. It was perfectly portioned and came with a salad and fruit. Everything was masterfully prepared and tasted delicious.
If you aren't a foodie, the menu will likely be lost on you. Go for one of the signature chocolate drinks or one of the desserts. You won't be disappointed. For the foodies: I had the short ribs which fell apart like it was supposed to in a savory pan gravy with mashed taters and crisps of brussel sprouts. My fav quote from Kitchen Arena is "it tastes like rainbows in my mouth" and that about sums up this date night dinner with my hubby. We shared a flight of drinks (recommend The Conche take on the Old Fashioned) and the Soot & Rye complete with the smoked apple wood! Our waiter Richard was AAAAHHH -MAZE-ING and helped me out with a salad off menu because I am lactose intolerant. We finished dinner with selected chocolates, the mango sorbet and the Guanaja. My hubbie is a chocoholic and loved the dessert. The Conche will leave you wanting to lick your plates. You'll be looking around to make sure you don't make too much of a show in public! Can't recommend this place enough. Just be willing to pay for the experience.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely, leisurely evening. We started with the calamari - I couldn't taste the chocolate but maybe that's because we had the cocktail flight of Temptation, Conche Old Fashion, Moussetache to start. Some very unusual and sweet cocktails! Our waiter didn't ask us if we wanted anything else to drink which might be my only complaint - he was excellent otherwise. My husband had the harissa half-chicken - more like a paprika chicken - very tasty, crispy (takes an additional couple of minutes) but not at all spicy. It was a big plate and I snuck a couple of pieces. I had the special - an asparagus risotto with goat cheese. We shared the Opalys dessert (a sticky toffee pudding) and the ginger salted caramel ice cream was a standout. They actually encourage you to go to the window of the chocolate/pastry prep area to watch the desserts being made. We would return! Noisy as it is small and we were close to the kitchen window (lots of dish noise).
This place has Great food and excellent service. The staff were friendly and inviting. Great Happy hour specials too.
Will be back again !
Exceptional experience! This restaurant is a must try for both dinner and brunch. The food is unique and delicious and the service is always top notch.
First time patron, will definitely return! “Noise level” rating came from loud server a few booths over, but I may have been just sensitive to his booming voice, which throws me off from the dimmed lighting cozy decor ambience of the booth seating.
Using an interesting notion that really good chocolate can enhance practically any food, our Conche lunch was remarkable for the burger that included short rib meat and a sauce with chocolate. Delicious. Knowledgeable staff and creative foods make for a terrific dining experience.
Very interesting menu which was explained very well by the owner/Chef. The hint of chocolate in all the meals was wonderful. The Owner/Chef gets his Cocoa from several countries. Presentation and flavor of all the meals made a great lunch and later dinner experience.
Took my husband to Conche for a surprise birthday dinner. Food choices were great and taste good as well. We had the ravioli and ground lamb flatbread. We had the Conch Entremet for dessert. It was delicious. We will go there again.
Great place for a special occasion.
This place is amazing. Nothing more to say except you won’t regret the visit. A bit on the pricy side but worth it without question.
